Nova Blancke Leonard sighed. This wasn't going anywhere. They had different ideals. And neither would compromise it.
"I would not do that to my son. If he is smart he will steer clear of Daedelus. If not they will come after him and there is nothing that I can do about it. Can't you see why Daedelus is a necessity? These series of galactic freak accidents are occurring on a much shorter time scale than before. Who knows when the next one hits? Who knows how many of the population becomes a Meta?"
Gidget sighed out of habit. She stood up and adjusted her clothes. "I'm sorry to have nosed my way into your personal life. I don't know where Theonis is now, but I can assure you he was safe and healthy when I saw him the day before yesterday. He has a better grip on his power and a firm head on his shoulders."

Back at Daedelus they said that she was an unmovable object from external forces. As long as she was on solid ground a full speed jeep could not make her budge. But her own strength could. In a way she was both the unstoppable and unmovable. But it seemed that Shane accidentally discovered this. However that did mean that she would let him exploit this to the fullest. Sure there would be moments where Shane could do that but it would be difficult for him. Especially now that he was struggling with himself.
Kicking off with her other leg she rose above Shane. Letting go of his arm she grabbed hold of the tentacle around her neck. Now that she was in mid-air she could do more damage by swinging him in an wider arc over her head down towards the ground.

"I know and if I had my way with Daedelus things would be different. But I am not in charge and I cannot change things the way they are. When the time comes..I hope they will accept the help you can offer."
He got up himself. Leonard wasn't the big bad guy as he made himself out to be. He extended his hand to Gidget." Thank you. Watch over him. His...mutation may not yet be over. I tested myself out of curiosity and my...our genes if he has them are more accepting to the changes than average Meta's"

PixelMuse Trinity nodded solemnly, glad that he took her work seriously yet saddened that the work had to take so much of their time. They entered the food court with his arm wrapped around her waist and hers around his. Trinity could hear all of the voices, mostly being impressed that she's staying with this one for more than a day, that's a record for her. Others murmured wonders of how long this will last. She sighed at it all but smiled looking back at Theonis. They got in line for breakfast. She stuck with her stricked diet of oatmeal and fruit with some coffee. The line for this was near the table where Larry and Heather sat. Larry looked up and saw the two people from yesterday. He slowly stands away from the table and lumbers over to them. Heather barely had time to get up and walk with him to make sure he didn't cause any trouble. Larry casts a shadow over Theonis and Trinity as he raises his giant hand and waves. "Hey." His voice carried a hint of pleasantry.

Theonis too heared the people talking. In fact he focused on his hearing in order to increase his sensitivity. He knew he could do that but he had never actively done it for his hearing. It made him feel a whole lot better knowing that he would continue to disappoint those people by not ending it with her. Not that he wanted to.
Since he wasn't hungry but felt like eating a little bit, he took two boiled eggs and some orange juice. He liked boiled eggs. It was hard to overlook Larry. Especially since he had just walked up to them and blocked out the light. Theonis couldn't help but chuckle. He really was just a big kid.

Cassandra barely had time to think as she was pulled toward Shane as he reeled in his tentacle. In midair she could be moved like any other person. That did not change her physical strength and defense however. But seeing as she barely had time to react all she managed to do was bring her head back and slammed it against Shane as they collided.

Leonard suddenly burst out in laughter. Hadn't heard that in a long time. From both her and his son.
"Ahh...it's been a while since I've had a good laugh. Hehe...still a child sometimes I see. Well now, off with you." He said in a more fatherly tone rather than the cold one. "I shall tell the guards to take you back."

Shane's entire frame shuddered and cracked with the impact. The dark passenger was relenting bit by bit as it realized brute strength would not be able to beat the other monster.
His body was screaming in agony, but he knew if he didn't act quickly the moment wouldn't last long. The biomass around Cassandra's neck turned into a more malleable substance and started going for any open orifice her head had to offer. If Shane could not stab, crush, or consume her, he would drown her in biomass.

Gidget smiled warmly at the doctor, remembering the first time she met him. She had called him Dracula, and he laughed in the same way. But then the thought of what he did to Shane, what the good doctor had made him, then smile became laced with sadness.
She regards him with a nod and opens the door out to where the guards are.

Cassandra visible panicked. Her hair shifting to a purplish color for a long period of time. Without thinking she grabbed hold of the tentacle at her neck with both hands and ripped it off. But the mass was still moving. Out of panic she kicked Shane in the side. It was a sloppy kick but it still had so much power in it. Franticly she began to try to slap it off of her.

She mass clawing for Cassandra was mindless and alien. It screeched and mewled in hunger as it hunted around for an orifice...any orifice now. Her fighting was causing it to anger, and begin to try and consume her hands as it lashed for her.
Shane's arm slowly began to reshape itself after having it torn off. He was glad he didn't have an a permanently breakable skeletal structure, because the sloppy kick had left a dent in his now shattered carapace.
He steadily got himself up and leaped back a few times to put some distance between himself and the now frantic Cassandra. He knew if she calmed down she would find a way to get the mass off of her. He still hadn't perfected the use of separated mass yet. So he took what little time he had to assess what he had seen of her power so far.
