More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Cassandra's frantic behavior continued.

Alexavier kept a constant link with himself....her at all times. This also allowed him to control her whenever he pleased.

Calm down!

Cassandra's movement stopped. Her look changed. She glared at Shane in an eerie calm way. Slowly digging her fingers underneath the mass she pulled it off and held it away from her in her hand. Almost examining it. Alexavier released control of her.

With a gasp of air she regained control. And her first reaction to the mass that she was now holding in one hand was to throw it as far away as she could. Back to it's owner.

Leonard returned to study the canister that she had given him. It could prove to be very useful. He didn't waste time and got right on that. In his haze he almost forgot to tell the guards that she was coming up.

"Gentlemen, my niece is coming back up. Please escort her back.

The same bald man replied.

"Understood sir." He then turned as Gidget came through the door.

"We have been instructed to escort you back to the place where we picked up you. Is that alright with you Miss?" He said with his low voice.

In the back of Annie's mind she swore as the horde turned on her. How did the other find her, she was a puddle. She supposed that if you knew what you were looking for it wouldn't have been so hard to find her. Keeping a puddle form she snaked past the crowd, beginning to sense the odd connection between Cassandra and the other. She would have smiled as she could as she narrowed down where the other. Finding Alexavier she materialized in a form human enough looking as she began to burst pipes above Alexavier, the water changing to acid as it rained down on him. Just as quickly as she appeared she changed into a puddle before, blending in with the spraying water. Perhaps that would distract the other and also afford her some hiding.

Shane stood tall and caught the screaming mass, taking it back into his right arm. The carapace had repaired itself while she struggled, as had his detached arm. He studied her with cold, pupil-less eyes. His nearly featureless face spoke from behind the shell.

"You are strong, your flesh is impossible to penetrate, if you are grounded you can't be moved, and if I were to venture a guess the other person inside is the heads to your tails."

"Cassandra, you wont leave here alive." That last statement is laced with the dark passenger's deadly intent. He hardens the carapace and strengthens the density of his anatomy. He knew if he had to he could consume the mob inside the store.

He figured Annie had gone in to cause some mayhem, something that angered him to no degree. He hoped she would leave some of the mob intact. Shane had never consumed so many people at once, and the dark passenger was tempting him with the possibilities that presented.

Gidget nods solemnly. She could get back to Valhalla the same way she came. And when she did, it would be time to return her attention to Liv.

Larry looked up and saw the two people from yesterday. He slowly stands away from the table and lumbers over to them. Heather barely had time to get up and walk with him to make sure he didn't cause any trouble.

Larry casts a shadow over Theonis and Trinity as he raises his giant hand and waves. "Hey." His voice carried a hint of pleasantry.

Since he wasn't hungry but felt like eating a little bit, he took two boiled eggs and some orange juice. He liked boiled eggs. It was hard to overlook Larry. Especially since he had just walked up to them and blocked out the light. Theonis couldn't help but chuckle. He really was just a big kid.

"Hey big guy"

Trinity eyes what Theonis was having for breakfast. Sometimes I wonder, what if Theonis is wrong about his apetite being part of meta power... What if he's getting sick...what if- her thought was interrupted when she stood in the shadow of Larry.

Out of reflex she took a defensive stance but heard the hint of pleasantry in his voice. She relaxed and waved back "Hi Larry." She wondered where his sister was. With the amount of people around it would be best to avoid a fight with him at all cost.

Larry studied the two of them with his large drooping gaze. He then placed his large hands on their respective heads. With a wide smile he declared, "Friends"

Heather trotted up beside him, her tail nearly tripping a few people going to sit down to eat. She smiled brightly and clasped her hands together. "Ah good, he likes you. I explained the situation to him yesterday. He wont try to hurt you now. In fact I can't think of a better friend to have outside of a wookie."

"Chewy."

"Why? I haven't killed anyone. But you....you have.So many people. I can kill you. Release you. No more suffering. So tell me..why do you have the right to live and I don't? Who are you ...of all people...to act as a judge?" Cassandra replied in a cold manner. It wasn't some mind game she intended of playing. She meant every single word of it however.

Alexavier was distracted as Annie appeared. As the acid rained down Alexavier crawled back further into underneath the register while help was on the way. A few people of his horde rushed over to him. To protect him from the acid rain with their own bodies. Using his new meat shields he ran and found a different hiding place. The rest of the horde in the store seemed to be doing something else. The grabbed hold of every kind of powder product they could find. Flour, Sugar, Salt anything and threw it all around them. But mainly on the floor. Alexavier had seen what Annie was and what she could do. Going through all of that in her watery form would give a trail and make her more sluggish since the water would absorb the powder.

Larry studied the two of them with his large drooping gaze. He then placed his large hands on their respective heads. With a wide smile he declared, "Friends"

Trinity felt his big hand ruffle through her hair. By the time he lift his hand she looked like she just rolled out of bed. Regardless she smiled, she was glad she didn't have to fight him. Although he was hard to keep up with him last time despite his size, she barely landed a punch on him, mainly avoiding and running around the room to avoid getting pummeled.

She was relieved to hear Heather's voice and what she had to say. "That's good to hear. How are you enjoying your stay? I know you've must have talked to a lot of people to get here."

Theonis never liked having his hair ruffled butt it was hard to even begin to be annoyed at Larry at the moment. For all of his mass he really was just a kid.

"I think you are better than Chewie man." He looked at Heather" Well that's good to hear......Heather right?"

"I cannot die yet. I have work that needs to be finished. My sister must be made whole again. You escaped from the clutches of Daedalus. You can go anywhere in the world with no one telling you what to do. You could have seen me and continued on without inciting this conflict. Instead you hold on to the hatred Daedalus has instilled in you, remaining their puppet. You will die because you intend to kill me before I can complete my work."

Larry bows his head apollogetically. "Sorry."

Annie cursed Alexavier in her head as she realized what he was doing- first using the human hoarde as a cover and then the power product being thrown around. Immediately when she realized he was using the human shield, the acid changed into water. Next what to do with the powder products... At least she knew where he was, she could see him cowering under a register. She changed to a more human looking form, so she could speak, still remaining in a liquid form, some flour and sugar swirling in the liquid, "You're smart. Let's make a deal."

Heather nodded enthusiastically. "That's me. This place is really something else. The trip here sucked, but I think the stay will be much better." Heather's eyes dance away from Trinity's each time they nearly meet. She adjusts her dark hair shyly.

Larry bows his head apollogetically. "Sorry."

"Ah, I think he is apollogising for yesterday."

Trinity frowned a little when she heard the trip wasn't all that great but was glad to hear she thought her stay so far is going well. She thought it was strange that she kept avoiding eye contact, her first thought was Is she hiding something?

"I accept your apology Larry, you're forgiven. I too am sorry if I roughed you up any or cause any inconvenience." she returned a bow of her head. She really wanted to make sure Larry felt comfortable here, especially on his first day. No need for holding on to the past.

Larry's face became sullen and confused. He turned his heard over and down toward his sister.

She looked up at him and said, "It's all good. She's also sorry about yesterday."

Larry smiled and nodded. He turned his head back toward Trinity and gave her a big slow thumbs up. "Good."

Heather looked between Theonis and Trinity, but more at Trinity. Her dewlap fell a bit instinctively. "So...I guess we should let you guys get back to breakfast."
