His slave returned to where he came from."But I promise you....we will not harm nor threaten your son or his sister"

Cassandra still stared at Shane.

"Well. I...I suppose we could." Theonis was caught off guard. "It IS rather fast wouldn't you say? But..." Theonis took a small pause. Afterall it WAS a big step" I would....like that" He replied with a genuine smile. He then chuckled slightly."That being said if we keep up this speed we will end up married within a couple of weeks."

"Heh heh... I know right?" she laughed. "I normally don't do this either... but... everything just seems so right when I'm with you." she said with a shrug. "...and to be honest I can't think of a better way to spend my spare time than to spend it with you." she finished her breakfast then stood up.

"Well I've got to get going." it was obvious she wanted to spend more time with him.

Cassandra still stared at Shane.

Annie smiled and continued in a low voice, "Of course. However, I think it would be best if neither of us get too cocky. I have no doubt you both are patient, most Daedalus captures are. But understand this now, I have had over ten years to wait and plan and dream. You know nothing about me. Remember our deal- especially your end of it. When the time comes both of you will disappear or so help me, it won't only be Daedalus hunting you."

Still smiling she turned and stretched, walking past Cassandra in her solid form, "Anyhow, we should get moving. I want a shower and a change of clothes. And, I think we all need some rest on proper beds. I say put a hundred miles between us and this mess and then find a hotel." She glanced around the chaotic store. "It won't be long before we have unwelcome guests. Now... where is Christian and Gidget?"

Theonis looked down at his eggs and drink. Still there while her food was already gone. That went...fast

"Well...seeing as I still haven't even started eating yet I shall bid thee farewell my love. I shall see you..tonight at ..home" He replied with his most charming voice. He knew no shame when it came to stuff like this in public. He didn't care if anyone was against it.

"They are still close by." Alexavier replied while Cassandra seemed to be distracted enough to skip into the store to get some snacks. Which consisted mostly of sweets and chips. Alexavier however kept his eyes on Shane's.

"Would you like me to fetch them?"

Annie's expression was enough to answer Alexavier's question: no, she did not want Alexavier to fetch them. "Mommy!" A voice called out from the store, Christian appeared dragging Gidget with him by his little hand. He smiled some and his blue eyes narrowed slightly, "You are worried about something."

"I always am," She replied with a thin laugh, pushing a strand of hair behind her ears as she watched Alexavier watch Shane. She trusted Alexavier about as far as she could throw him.

Theonis looked down at his eggs and drink. Still there while her food was already gone. That went...fast

"Well...seeing as I still haven't even started eating yet I shall bid thee farewell my love. I shall see you..tonight at ..home" He replied with his most charming voice. He knew no shame when it came to stuff like this in public. He didn't care if anyone was against it.

"Until then..." she placed a deep kiss on his lips. In the distance you could hear her fan club cry out in sadness. But ignoring that Trinity went on to the next thing on her agenda. To meet with the lieutenant on the logistics and see if there was anything else he needed.

Annie's expression was enough to answer Alexavier's question: no, she did not want Alexavier to fetch them. "Mommy!" A voice called out from the store, Christian appeared dragging Gidget with him by his little hand. He smiled some and his blue eyes narrowed slightly, "You are worried about something."

"I always am," She replied with a thin laugh, pushing a strand of hair behind her ears as she watched Alexavier watch Shane. She trusted Alexavier about as far as she could throw him.

Shane's attention finally shifted with the arrival of his sister. Gidget slips out of Christian's grip and runs up to Shane, throwing her arms around him. She is making unintelligible but frightened noises. She starts pawing at the damage done to his clothes and dirt all over his body.

"It's okay, I'm fine."

He looks back at Alex and asks, "Hey you, I'm guessing you can read minds as well as control them. Find someone here who drives at least a minivan. We're going to need a bigger car."

Nearly an hour later, in Valhalla, a message comes over the PA system.

"Good morning everyone. Gidget here, hoping that everyone has had a good breakfast because we've got a big day ahead of us. As some of you may have noticed, we had quite a few new faces in the dining facility this morning. We will be meeting in the assembly hall in thirty minutes to welcome our new brothers and sisters from the Matron safe house. I hope to see everyone there, but attendance is not mandatory. Thanks!"

Alexavier shrugged."Kay" He looked around lazily. Pointing at guy, he motioned for him to come closer. Compelled to do so the man did. Alexavier placed his hands on the man's head. The man seemed to be struggling for breath for a few seconds.He dropped to his knees when Alexavier was done.

"You are looking at the man who can drive right now." He said as he pointed his thumb at his chest. Cassandra just seemed to nod and waved hello to Christian and Gidget with a smile.

Shane let go of his sister, who waved exuberantly at Cassandra, and approached the man on his knees. He searched the man's pockets and found what he was looking for.

"I have what we need. Can you keep them under while we make our escape?"

"Heh...nice" He said to himself as he got started on his food. That was his plan but then he heard Gidget on the intercom.

Assembly hall? Sure why not? Guess I'll hit the training room after that.

Focusing on his egg cracks began to ran across it but in a controlled way. Those cracks soon became a smooth and controlled line.Popping off the shell he quickly finished one egg and moved on to the other. This time he wanted to see if he could cut the egg without damaging the shell.

"Done, lets go." Alexavier said as he started walking with Cassandra closely following him.

Annie nodded and headed ahead to the car they had and quickly gathered what Shane had gotten from the Walmart earlier. With the car seat on her hip she approached Alexavier, Cassandra, and Shane who was with Gidget. Christian was following slowly his blue eyes focused on the two new members of the group. A small frown was on his face as he turned his gaze onto his mother.

Annie frowned but said nothing as she waited.

Trinity was walking down to her next meeting. She pulled out her green trench cloak from a shadow of a wall and put it one like she was pulling it out of a closet and kept going. Once the trench cloak was on she paused as she heard Gidget's voice. "Looks like she's back from her meeting. I'll be sure to catch up with her to see what's the next step about Shane..." she thought out loud with a quiet voice. Odds are she may be going to the social she made the announcement about. She planned to text her once she was out of the meeting. On top of that she need to talk about the arrangement she just made with Theonis. She probably wouldn't take it as a big deal as Trinity thought, especially since she seemed to take the news about their relationship pretty well.
