Courtyard (South)

Somehow, after wondering about campus for a few hours, he found his way to the Southern end of the courtyard. He saw something strange but dismissed it as a random thought and took a seat on a bench. He took his knife from the bench at began scratching something into the wood of the bench as he searched thorugh the cyber library that made up his mind.

He searched through various files, unlocking more and more infromation that helped him better understand somethings about himself and the world around him. He also figured out that the world had advanced somewhat since he could rember with people evolving and being able to use "magic" as well as other abilities.

He continued to search and search for more answers most of the time, not knowing what he was trying to find out.  

[Inaluke]

Abaddon was stunned... she would actually prefer death over life without him... He zoomed across the courtyard and into his body, then he wraped his legs around hers and tripped her, getting her just out of the way or the reaper's scythe. He spun on the ground so that she was just in behind him and he was on his back faceing the reaper.

BLACK FLAME CANNON!!!

Abaddon belched forth a stream of black flame, he didn't know if the reaper could be hurt by hellfire or not, but frankly, he didn't care.  

[Ketsueki-Yue]

She gasped in shock as to what just happened. then something came to her. Everything disapeared and the area was clear again. She looked at him with confusion.

" If you wern't dead then, why didn't you just come back to your body?" She asked.

Her face had confusion written all over it.

He heard wuite a rukus from a corner of the courtyard. SOmeone yeled something out and then an explosion could be heard. He really couldn't take it anymore. He was annoyed by the rukus but his bloodlust was getting to him. He had to check it out.

He came just wihtin sight of the problem and saw a girl, a man, and a figure that resembeled the Grim Reaper. Wehn he saw the Reaper, an image flashed thorugh his mind causing a sharp pain. For whatever reason, he remembered the Reaper and also knew he was no good.

The feeling of bloodlust was beggining to graw bigger and bigger inside him. he did his best to resist, letting things play out before his eyes. he collected various data with his "special" eye, making sure ot not miss any details. It would be interesting, in the end, to see how things worked out.

Abaddon had to lie... if he told her the truth, she would hate him.

"Wulf tryed to take me to hell with him, so I had to fight my way back up to get to my body, I came as fast as I could, I am really sorry, please forgive me"

Abaddon was smothe, a little white lie to keep her feelings from being hurt, no one that she would trust to deny his story, and him comeing out smelling like roses, he was starting to realize why Vlad did what he did...  

[Ketsueki-Yue]

Yue looked into his eyes. she could tell something was hidden in there. something he wasn't telling her. she couldn't be sure though. she came in front of him and hugged him gently.

" why are you saying sorry. It wasn't your fault unless, your not telling me the whole truth." she said as she hugged him.

she wasn't sure if he was lying but, she didn't want to push her luck.

He wished all this sappy crap wasn't happening but he couldn't help take his attention from the dark figure of the Reaper. It seemed like this figure of death, that would horrify others so much, had no effect on him. Apparently, he knew there were worse things than death.

Even though he felt now was the time to take action, he restrained himself. He could not p,lace his finger on why but it seemed like instict was getting the better of logic.

He just stood still, watching the evnts unfold before him like a bad story.

He had to get out of here before something changed inside him. Something he could not control. He fought all of his urges to stay and turned around. He succesfully managed to walk out of the courtyard after sometime. He headed back towards the dorms. It was the only place he could think to go.

Abaddon was petrified, did she know? No, she couldn't know, it was that damn woman's intuettion bullcrap. He smiled gently and hugged her back, just another little white lie and he was off the hook.

"I was apologizeing becasue it took me so long to get back, and it almost cost you your life. Yue, I want you to promise me somthing, never do that agian. Even if I do pass on unexpectantly, and you do end up getting yourself killed, you won't end up in the same afterlife as me, so please, don't do it... promise me..."

 

[Ketsueki-Yue]

She looked up at him. She knew that he was hiding something but. thought it best to just leave it.

" I...promise but, I wouldn't know what to do without you here........with me." she said as she held him.

" But, I'll promise, none the less." she said as she gave him a small kiss.

she could feel herself falling into unconsciousness she fell into him and her body went limp. she had used so much of her magic. it was a shock to her that she was able to stay conscious this whole time.

Abaddon held her close, and then struggled to stand up, he could barely move. He faught his way to his feet, carrying Yue in his arms as she slowly fell into a well deserved rest. He carried her over to a near by tree, lay her down at its base, and then wraped his coat around her to keep her warm, rester her head on his shoulder as he sat down agianst the tree next to her. She had taken such good care of him, it was his turn to take care of her.

"Thank you, please never try that agian, I can handle hell, but the mere thought of you being dead becasue of me is more than I can handle."

 

[Ketsueki-Yue]

She woke up after a while and found his coat around her. She smiled she wrapped one half of the coat around him and smiled. she couldn't tell if he was a sleep or not. she crawled over and sat in his lap. she slowly took his hands and wrapped them around her. she layed her head aginst his chest and smiled.

" Don't ever leave me." she whispered and closed her eyes again, going into a very light sleep.

Abaddon mumbled incohenrntly in his sleep, something about him being the end of humanity come early, it really didn't matter. He was finally at peace with himself, and he had the love of the most wonderful woman in the world... now he hoped that Fera didn't show up...

She looekd up at him as he mummbled. she smiled and giggled and held his hands around her waist tighter. she was so happy at this point. she finally had someone she could trust and love. someone that wouldn't hurt her. she sighed and curled up against him more.

Taqune wondered into the southern courtyard as he had nothing to do or anyone to speak with that he knew or wanted to speak with anywhere else to his knowladge. He was in his neko form and he stepped onto the path and began to mingle into the other students his tan cat ears sticking out from the other students.
