Courtyard (North)

[emo tear. cut. cut.]

Raven sits on the fountain and pulls out a book. It's quite a large volume around 2000 pages or so. She opens it at a spot marked by a leather with gold leaf book mark. As she reads her hair fades from it's usual hot pink to a midnight black and then brightens back to pink. This often happens when she's consintrating. She sets the book in her lap and keeps reading, but she runs her left hand lightly through the water. She sighs softly and flicks some hair out of her face with her wet fingers.

Vittoria was enjoying all that was left of a wonderful day. The sun was out, high in the sky and there was no sign of rain at all. She was leaning back against a large tree, staring up at the clear blue sky, when she noticed somebody out of the corner of her eye.
This girl had only laid a hand upon the fountain, yet it turned ever so gracefully into ice and frost. Vittoria smiled at yet another gifted student and returned to her sky gazing, only to feel a sharp, coldness across her body. The tree was now covered in ice, as was she. Brushing the frost from her face, she shivered and stepped away from her hiding place, startled.

She stared at the other students and frowned slightly.She saw a boy had sat down under a tree.Hatsu walked over to the tree and touched it lightly.Soon the tree was nothing but ice just like the other one.A wicked gleem flashed in her eyes as she walked away again, occasionally looking back at her destruction.
This place shall be a wonder ful source of entertainment.

Eyes shifted to watch the ground in front of him, Midou Ban walks into the courtyard with a lot on his mind. It wasn't bad things at all...more like memories. He took a seat on the courtyard's bench, which layed around the water fountain in the center. He stared at the ground, counting the little small red stone that were in the cement.

Raven looked up her hair turning back to a vibrant pink. She tried to pull her hand out of the fountain only to relize that the water froze around it. She sighs. "Lovely first day." She tries to yank her hand out but only succeeds in popping her wrist. "Oh sure the one time I don't try to crack my wrist it's frozen and dratted fountain." She one-handedly ((word?)) puts her bookmark in and sets it back in her bag. SHe pounds her free fist on the ice trying to break it.

Brandon looked over at her as she walked over here.He looked at her oddly.There was somthing about this girl..he couldnt put his fanger on it but there was something.Brandon shighted alittle.This will be intresting he thought as he looked at her.He then stood up and dusted him self off.Brandon walked over to her and estended his hand."Hello there.The names Brandon 'Wrath' Valentine.And you are?
"He asked and said trying to get to know this intresting girl.  

[Raine_Falls]

Kaida wandered through teh courtyard with a cancer stick hanging limp within the corner of her deep crimson lips. Her sapphire blue hues were staring ahead in a dignified fashion as she made her way over to a large Oak tree for shade from the warm summer day. Her black boots clicked lightly against the soft earth with each step.

"Ahh lovely.." The dragoness said quietly to herself, blowing out a large amount of smoke from her nostrils. She leisurely dropped down to the grass with a soft thump; the green foliage singed slightly at her touch. kaida chuckled innocently at the sight, taking another long drag on her cigarette for comfort.

She reached her delicately tanned hand into her side-bag, rummaging for her sketch pad and a pencil. The bag has a penciled sketch of a dragon blowing fire at a small town; most of the town had been burned to ashes it seemed. Right nexted to the extremely detailed dragon rested Kaida's signature. "oh now where is it.." She held her cigarette off to the side as she slid her head into the quite small bag; that stupid sketch pad was somewhere.

Finally, after a good five minutes of searching, the dragoness pulled out a raggy old book that had papers hanging out in differnet directions throughout the book. She took another drag on her cigarette before lighting it up in fire, and letting it disintigrate in her hand. Kaida giggled as she poured the ashed onto the ground, taking her pencil.

Drawings were very serious for Kaida; she never took art lightly. Her strokes had to be perfect or the drawing was not its best. She would settle for nothing but extrodinary. Her long auburn hair fell lazily about her petite face as she got more into her sketch.

Raven sighs and just waits for the water to thaw. She looks around and sees students...so nice of them to help. She remembers a spell she read in her book and pulls it out. She reads through it real fast and finds what she's looking for. SHe closes her eyes and focuses. Soon her whole arm goes up in flames melting the ice around her hand. She pulls her hand away from the fountain and shakes the flame off her arm.
"Good god. It's just my first day and i'm already getting the cold shoulder...no pun intended." She mummbles. "Great people are probably gonna think I'm crazy."
SHe takes out her book and flips to the necromancy section. SHe continues to read. Her hair fades again from hot pink to black and back to pink. Proof of her consintration.

Glancing up from the ground, he noticed that there were other people there besides him. He looked around with his blue eyes, seeing plenty of nice LOOKING people...but didn't bother to get up. He figured if they were intreasted, they'd talk to him, but if not, then not.

Raven sees movement out of the corner of her eye and looks up not even noticing her hair changing colors anymore. SHe notes a boy getting up from his seat. She sends a smile his way hoping he'll see.

He glanced out of the corner of his eye. He saw a girl smiling at him, but didn't think it was for him. He stood up and began to walk out of the main courtyard into a path that was made of dirt along the side.  

[Raine_Falls]

Kaida tore her cerulean hues from her sketch only to get a better glimpse of the landscape; making sure to get every detail possible. A pair of flattering glasses appeared out of a ball of fire and landed neatly on her button-sized nose. They had a fiery red brim with small orange polka-dots everywhere, and were squared to flatter her frame better.

Her hand swayed as if she were painting from side to side endlessly. A seventeen year old drawing like a three year old; Kaida would never allow such a demeaning appearence. She was half dragon, a proud race that would never surcome to the faults of any other race. Her eyes followed the flat plateau as she finished the sketch with a few more quick scratches at the paper.

It was as if the courtyard had been cut and pasted onto her paper, except no color. Every detail of the lively area was put into it. The grass was drawn to perfection, with every blade, it seemed, had an odd individuality about it. Kaida added her own touch and drew her legs to give the onlookers a better of idea of where and how she was sitting. It also included the group of students standing around a certain young lady; perhaps something was wrong. Kaida did not know nor did she care.

With a sigh of satisfaction, the dragoness snapped her fingers together. A sudden spark erupted from between her fingers revealing a cigarette already lit held loosely between her thumb and index finger. She placed it between her lips to keep it safely away from the grass. Kaida closed her slitted optics as she rested against the trunk of the tree, blowing smoke from her lungs every once in awhile.

Yue woke to the clatter of something metal slipping off the bench and hitting the pavement, filling the whole courtyard with the screeching noise. Sighing, she sat up from her sleeping posistion on the bench and threw her arms up in the air too stretch, her shirt slid up so that a tiny portion of her bare stomach was visible. Now officaily awake, she reached down and picked up her ruler from the ground Must've fallen out of me bag.....wait..MY BAG WAS OPEN!?!?!....My diary was in there!. In a panic, Yue dug frantically through her bag to see if the small blue book with the butterfly claspe was still in there, the book was absent from the inside pocket and Yue drew in a sharp breath. Her most private thoughts and secrets were in that book and if it fell into the wrong hands....well, it could be an embarressing situation that she didn't need to experience...
