Kaida took another long drag on her cigarette, inhaling the sweet smoke without a care. Many thought she smoked to become popular, but she only smoked because it was easy access to fire; her main ability was fire manipulation after all. Besides, her cancer sticks were especially made beneath her management to make sure they have the sweet smelling smoke so it would not scare off anyone.

The sound of metal against the ground made the dragoness jump, startled, and drop her cig onto the ground. Kaida shrieked in dismay and stomped it out quickly. Yelling all sorts of vulgar words into the courtyard; destroying the wonderful atmosphere it had. "Who the hell..?!" Kaida grumble, lighting up another stick to calm her nerves. She was always a jumpy person when it came to sudden loud noises.

She raked a hand through her matted red threads, making sure to avoid the mysterious braids that were scattered throughout mane. Kaida grimaced when she reached a heavy knot, but managed to comb through it with her abnormally long nails.

Ever since she had finished her sketch everything about the courtyard grew dull and boring. Kaida didn't seem the least bit interested in the beautiful surroundings. The tall tree that were placed in specific areas about the courtyard towered over the fountain and shaded much of the landscape. It was a sunny, summer day; the sky was clear and a brilliant baby blue. The only clouds allowed into the sky, it seemed, had very eccentric patterns for people to gaze up at and admire. Mother nature seemed at her best today, but Kaida did not care at all.

Yara had walked into the courtyard with a disgust look on his face.i thought this was gonna be a small school but oh boy this is one hell of a large school. He continued on until he found a bench to sit on. he had nothing else to do so he just sat down.

Zephel had notice that kiri was to busy looking at her marks on her arm that he thought maybe they should split up for now to look for faye."hey kiri lets split for a while ok maybe we'll cover more ground that way."He noticed that there was a new guy sitting on a bench alone and he thought maybe he could be of some help.

Suka looked down at Karin from where he sat, half-way between the courtyard and the church. He only assumed that this cat was Karin because of the gold eyes, though he could not be sure just from that. He saw the wounds that she had filled with water and decided that they had been given to her by him while taken over by the Blood Demon. The Blood Demon would not be able to take over anymore, this was the first time he'd let that happen to him and since it had happened already it would not be happening again. The Blood Demon only takes complete control once, after that the infectee has complete control of their body and can still use the same abilities as were used by the Blood Demon. The reason that he had just now been taken over was that he had accepted the blood sort of willingly, in the fact that he allowed the Blood Demon to spread his blood through Suka's in return for him not telling anyone about his trespassing. Suka sat there silently for the first few moments that Karin had lay collapsed in the grass, watching her quietly. "Karin...you seem weak...are you hurt that bad?" he said this quiet enough for his ears after the sounds he heard as the Church rejected him, yet loud enough for at least her to hear. There was no doubt that Suka had control of his body again because the Blood Demon had never asked her what her name was and thus would not know her name for any reason. Suka did not expect a response...what he expected was for her to go back to her normal form. If he was caught talking to a cat they would think him insane...plus a conversation with a cat is never very interesting, like talking to a wall. Suka felt that his daggers were gone, as he slid his hands into his pockets, but that was not a very big deal...at any time that he wished he could send a Nightmare orb to retrieve them for him. There were at least twenty five of them, probably more, but he never counted them and for now he did not think he would need them...alll he was doing was talking to a cat.

Karin stared at him, eyes narrowing slightly at the question. She hissed quietly, but soon realized he wouldn't be able to hear any real words from that. She bowed her head and dragged herself to a sitting position. A second later, she'd returned to normal. She was sitting with her legs crossed and her arms holding her up. She kept wobbling slightly as she tried to stable herself, but her mind was spinning and so were her surroundings. She did have large injuries everywhere. Her arm, chest, stomach, back, legs... Even her tail had several gashes across it. She glared at him for a moment in silence and then lowered herself to her side, lying in the grass. "...yes..." she breathed out faintly. She knew it couldnt be the blood demon now. He wouldn't bother talking to her, and he definintely wouldn't call her by name.

Suka grabbed the tainted blood orb as if to keep it from going anywhere and looked up at her from it after he felt he had a good enough grip on it. "Why don't you move the water and let your wounds heal?" he asked this quietly and sat there with one hand in his pocket and the other keeping the orb from moving anywhere. He saw how badly she was injured and he could only imagine what he must have done to her. He half wanted her to move the water and keep them open so that he could let the tainted blood get a hold of her and heal her quicker, but the other half said that she woul;d have let that happen already if she had wanted any help with it and so he kept quiet as he waited to see if she would let her wounds begin to heal. Whether or not she did as he asked, either way he would still try and convince her to let the blood in. He'd start by telling her thepersonal benefits of it and then go on to tell her the consequences of what happened if she didn't...she couldn't possibly know what would happen if she did not accept the blood...he wanted her to accept the blood, now more then before, because the shape she was in...it was hard to see her like this...and knowing he was the one who did it made it that much worse. Even whenever he'd lost control to his Nightmare form he'd never harmed anyone that was close to him in a way like this...it did not seem to matter to the Blood Demon as it did to his Nightmares. He tried not to look directly at her because of the shape she was in...but that could not make him look very trustworthy, even if it was someone she knew he wassure that she was not just about to trust anyone right off the bat like that, he didn't know her well enough to be certain but he was close to it...

Lukan casually walked into the courtyard scaning it for himself. He hadn't been out here in a while and it wasn't anything new for him. His tail flicked back and forth as his nose wiggled a little from the smell of sweet smoke. "There's such things as sweet smoke?" He asked and shook his head not really worried about that, what was with the smoke is what got him. A scent he enjoyed to be around, made him feel light as a feather, though he hadn't been in contact with that person in a long time.

Lukan followed the scent and smirked sneeking quietly up behind Kaida and wraped and arm around her shoulders gently. "Long time no see." He said into her ear. "How have you been?" He asked with a small smile spining himself so he stood infront of her.

Karin growled faintly in her throat and pressed her cheek to the grass, closing her eyes again. "B-because..." she began quietly, voice just a whisper. "Even if I... unblock them, they won't heal right a-away. I need to get to th-the hospital..." She glanced at the orb he held and her eyes narrowed angrily. "Wh-why the hell do you still have that?" she hissed though her voice was still faint. Her hands shifted very slowly, one covering the gash on her stomach, and the other the one on her chest. They weren't bleeding because of the water, but if she pulled it away, then she would start to. That would cause even more blood loss and she most likely wouldn't be able to keep awake if she let that happen. She was dizzy enough as it was, having trouble keeping her eyes open. He looked extremely blurry, even through her good eye. It made her feel a small wave of panic again, as the random though that she was going blind in that eye as well hit her. But she quickly pushed it away, knowing that wasn't true.

OOC:Spazz a Matazz I posted in the hospital. xD

Kaida finished off her cigarette with one final drag before sending it into flames like the other. She breathed the last bit of smoke from her mouth, making odd little shapes and creatures. Her favorite happened to be a small dragon that seemed to fly off into the sky with a few great pushes with his wings. Kaida giggled at the sight, but was caught off gaurd for what happened next.

She nearly fell forward in surprised as two arms wrapped around her chest. Her sapphire hues narrowed as a cancer stick lit up again and was set against her lips. The embers were glowing dangerously, letting the cig burn out before she could do anything with it.

"Long time no see."

That voice..that smooth, sweet voice that Kaida loved so very much. Her eyes softened as she turned her head to see Lukan behind her. A broad smile tugged at the dragoness's lips. "Lukan!!" Before she could get him into a large hug he shifted his position to stand infront of her. What a delightful surprise.

"How have you been?"

"Quite good. How about yourself Lukan?" She still had that proper charisma, even though she was good friends with the Lycan. Kaida flipped her auburn curls away from her face to get a better glimpse of him. He still looked like he did last time they met; she was glad he hadn't changed. "Nice to see you have not changed." Of course, she was surprised he even knew it was her.

Kaida had left for a few months to get some serious changes done since she cannot shapeshift. Her hair had been cut to shoulder length and had an animal beauty to it. Not to mention it was now a fiery red instead of the violet color it once was. She had grown as well; more curvacious and vuluptuous than before.

Suka thought after her question that it was the best time that it could be for him to start trying to persuade her to let it in...he would have to find someone to take her to the hospital if he could not get her to let it in...and while she was gone he would find someone to force the blood into. "I still have it because there's no possible way of just getting rid of it...either you let it inside you...or I find someone else. I have to do it or else I will end up suffering consequences which I'm not quite ready to learn what they are. If you let this inside of you...the bleeding would stop quite abruptly. If you let it in then instead of you having to go to a hospital you would heal on your own within seconds...it would be unconsequential all except for the one time when the blood might have control over you. If your careful enough that wouldn't ever happen and you could do so much more then you can now if you let this pint of blood inside of you." He felt like one of those door to door salesmen that sometimes were seen on television shows. He'd never watched television but he heard about a lot of it from people who conversed about what they watched the night before. It sickened him that he was having to do this...it truly would do he better...all except for the fact that it was what it was. He knew she probably would stil refuse, it would be a little different coming from someone she knew...but he would probably end up having to tell her about what would happen if she did not let it in anyway. "It's not like it's a perfectly good thing...and I'm sure you don't want it, for many good reasons, but it'll physically do you good. Having blood from a blood demon running through your veins makes it near impossible to die of blood loss...the blood demon's blood make's your blood cells actually reproduce more then they nrmally would...the blood cells multiply so that you have around the same amount of blood inside of you at all times...physically there's nothing negative about it...physically it's damn near the perfect way to prolong your life...mentally it's all bullshit but physically...that's where there's reasoning for letting it inside...So...yes or no?" he asked her that question because he wanted to know if she would let it in already or if he should just continue with telling her about what comes next...So far he'd assumed she was too weak to have interrupted him but he had not been listening to more then what he said in his pursuading arguement. If she'd tried to interrupt him he had already ignored her and now he waited for the yes...or the no.

Kiri looked at Zephel and nodded. She didn't like searching alone, but it was for a good reason. "Yeah, that would cover more ground." Kiri walked through the courtyard the opposite direction of where Zephel had gone. She personally thought it was going to take a while to find the strange girl. Knowing this school, it was large enough to school over a hundred students. This was going to be hard.

Karin stared at him, trying her best to focus enough to take in what he said, but having lots of trouble doing so. Her surroundings were still spinning rapidly around and every now and then he sounded like he was suddenly speaking from somewhere far away. She bit her lip nervously, holding back tears. She did know that he was now trying to talk her into accepting the tainted blood as well. After everything she'd gone through to avoid it, he was still trying to make her accept it? She wanted to run away again so she wouldn't have to listen, but she felt she couldn't even raise her head now. Some of the water began slipping out of the wounds, letting a bit of blood begin to leak out, but she quickly filled them back in, wincing as she did. She was breathing heavily through her mouth, eyes shut tightly once more. Watching the world spinning made her feel like throwing up.

"N-no..." she said faintly. "Men...tally?" She'd heard him mention that briefly but not expand on it. Also, he'd named a lot of positives but she was sure there were many negatives as well. And she had no idea all the stuff she had to make sure to do. Like, what exactly had caused Suka to lose control in the first place? She'd probably end up doing it without even realizing it. And, the thought of blood entering her again after turning black and dragging across the ground for so long seemed disgusting.

Princess Ami Ochi

PostPosted: Tue Jul 25, 2006 2:37 pm
Ami strolls out onto the courtyard, which suprisingly isn't crowded. She walks slowly toward an empty tree and sits down against it closing her eyes. I wonder what Chain's doing. She thought to herself. She smiles, as she lefts the daisy to her nose and takes a deep breath.

"It's so beautiful here." She mummered and lay the daisy back ontop of her stack of books.

There's no one here. She sighed and relaxed against the tree, dozing off.
