Courtyard (South)

[Cainnon]

His head craned and he laughed out. Staring at the sky he would shrug very slowly.

"Always been told..that siblings are like that..They can aggitate the dickens out of ya but..when it comes down to it ...ya'd give ya life for them in a heartbeat."

His head lowered and he smiled to Alef.

"I dunno. Some of the people here are shy..and some of them are..well..scary."

Although he used the term 'scary' loosely it didn't pretain to those in black with pale skin. He meant other types..

Azure slowly slithered into the courtyard having just left the main gate. He sighed softly his hair blowing behind him in the braid as he slithered his way around. Most people around him stared and a few slowly backed up and ran off as a naga came sliding through the place.

They had good reasons to run to. Most naga's where very territorial and mean. But he was not as bad as most. He shrugged and sighed his muscles covered in a special blend of oils that made them ripple and sparkle in the light.

"Man.... this is going to be kinda hard...."

Christy sat up again and leaned back on the bench once more. "I should go ......" she mumbled to herself then thought about how hungry she was. "maybe to the dinning hall, im starving..." she said to herself and stood up walking slowly toward the dining hall, dispite how hungry she was. She didnt want to seem like an animal, charging toward it as if her life were on the line. Though is was like her stomache was an animal, making loud growling sounds in all. I'm so hungry.... she thought with a sigh and turned arround, taking one last look at the courtyard. She couldn't help but notice a boy sitting alone and people walking away from him. people can be so rude, I feel bad for him... she thought and wanted to talk to him. Her shyness and huinger wouldn't let her. Oh fine, i'll eat and suffer all at the same time, darn emotions andthe feelings of hunger... she thought turning back arround and walking toward the dining hall to get something to eat.

He sighed softly and slithered over to the fountain and hoped onto the edge. He looked at the lovely statue in the middle and then sighed as he looked down into the water using it as a mirror.

First thing about naga's they are very vain and he was not exempt from that. He quickly began to fix his hair and reapply his special oil onto his body and scales so she shimmered lovingly and extra beautufilly.

"ahh..."  

[Alef]

Alef smiled a little at his laughter. "Yes, I suppose that's right." Looking around the courtyard, she nodded. "There are several different kinds of people around here." She gave a small shrug. "Some are more friendly than others..."

His eyes trailed the courtyard as well and his eyes stopped on Corrin on the far end. He smiled a bit and looked at Alef.

"Yeah but I suppose difference makes the world turn. Do..you have many friends on the grounds?"

Sukai felt bad, she felt that she had scared the last guy off. Shaking her head she looked up at the azure sky once again before turning around to spot a tall tower far away. She stood up slowly dusting her pants off before walking off towards the tower that seemed to slowly draw her near.

Sukai heard her footsteps on the grass as she crossed out of the courtyard and onward towards the Dorm transporter.

Topaz's claws clacked against the hard stone covered floor as he walked with the air of one of noble birth. He looked around the courtyard with a smile on his scaled lips, for the breeze blowing through the yard was a beautiful one indeed. He stopped to enjoy the coolness of it as it lapped against his light blue colored scales like soft rain. It had been a hot day and the change in temperature was a welcome thing. He inhaled deeply and held it there for a swift moment letting it out woth an almost inaudible grunt of satisfaction. Mist flew from his nose like a swarm of silver colored bees. It dissapated quickly as he continued walking briskly in the quickly fading light.

Azure sighed as she sat on the edge of the fountain. HIs long lower snake half laying behind him as he sat back on it gently watching everything. Some people where not even notcing the half man half snake as they walked by.

That could be good...

Again he sighed and fixed his hair gently running his fingers through it. He did not know where to go really and so he sat waiting for someone to tell him exactly what he should do.

Sukai was making her way towards the dorms when she started nearing a fountain. As her gaze drifted towards it she noticed someone sitting there, and her eyes widened for a split second at the person's appearance before she shook her head finding her behavior quite rude. Continuing on she eventually stopped a little at the fountain and looked towards the half snake. Turning her head towards him she smiled quietly.

"Hello, I'm Sukai Sakaki" she introduced herself as she turned the rest of her body around to talk to him.

Azure was slightly taken back as the girl sat near him. As he moved the light rippled across his chest slightly letting her see every inch of his muscular body. He nodded gently toward her.

"Hello Sukai... I am Azure... but uhh... you can call me Azzy."

Looking at him she watched as the light bounced off of his muscular form blushing slightly. He did seemed well toned and attractive, but that wasnt her reason for sitting next to him at the moment. Pulling her knees to her chest she looked towards him blinking a little.

"I see, pleased to meet you then Azzy, are you new here?"she asked him quietly.

Azure could feel her apprenhsion about talking to a snake man. He smiled at her anyway and nodded softly. His hair falling down his shoulder. It was blood red and dragged the ground slightly uncovering a few more glossy scales.

"Yes... I am... and I am a naga if you are wondering..."

He was right, she was a little uncomfortable with the way he looked, but the more she sat here with him the more she felt comfortable. Slowly bringing her legs down and resting her hands on either side of her she looked towards him again. Sukai noticed he had a really nice smile, and in the end she couldn't help but smile back. She was certainly glad he was giving her a chance.

"A naga? I'm sorry for my odd behavior, I'm just not used to being around people who are half and half you know. But that shouldn't be something that will preclude two people from becoming friends." she said in an apologetic tone.

With that she held her hand outstretched with a smile on her face.

Azure smiled and took her hand. He nodded at her question as he lightly shook the hand. It was soft and warm and the first human contact he had had in a while.

"Yeah... A naga. Its one of hte first true demons in the world and immortal. We uhh... are usually very ill tempered and such but I try to be nice. We are half man half snake and... people don't like us."

He laughed softly and slowly let go of her hand. He began to gently comb his hair again and look at himself in the water.

"Oh... and we are very vain."
