Courtyard (South)

Sukai wished it was as soft and warm, but she wasn't. She was far from warm, soft but not warm. She couldn't really lie to the naga much anymore, she smiled widely for the first time today revealing a nice pair of pearly white elongated fangs. She was far from human, hence the reason why her parents sent her here in the first place. A vampire that could walk in the light wasn't too odd Sukai supposed, but her hesitation about that theory had kept her from smiling too widely this whole time.

"At least you are honest with yourself and others,"she said softly with a slight frown forming at the ends of her lips, "I still have to cope with my own well being.."

Looking at Azure once again she wondered if he would think differently of her now. Her eyes then drifted downward to look towards the ground.

Azures eyes widdened as he saw her fangs. He then laughed and opened his mouth. A pair of four inch long fangs folded down from the roof of his mouth and he smiled folding them back in.

"Wow... mine are bigger." He laughed and tapped her hand. "ITs cool... I know plenty of vampires who can walk in the sun."

Azure got really quite for a moment and then covered his mouth.

"OH... I am so sorry.... I uhh... can read minds alittle bit just can't control it."

Sukai had to just laugh as well when Azure revealed his four inch long fangs. She admired him a lot at this point in time. Being quite different from the rest is hard to cope with, at least she had a human form to hide herself behind in the public eye.

"ITs cool... I know plenty of vampires who can walk in the sun." she heard him say and her mouth instantly dropped open a little.

Closing it she looked at him again.

"How did you-.."she started off a bit confused.

She had not expressed her thoughts about how she could walk in the light to him.

"OH... I am so sorry.... I uhh... can read minds alittle bit just can't control it."

At this explanation she could only nod. At least he wasn't doing it intentionally she thought to herself even though it was basically like thinking outloud at this point. It didn't bug her too much she supposed.

"Have you already toured the school campus Azzy?"she asked as she looked up towards the sky.

Azure blushed the color of his hair and nodded at her question. Before coming to the courtyard he had slithered his way around the school to see everything. And he did... but the one thing he did not see was another Naga like he. He sighed softly and nodded.

"Yeah... I did... I also saw the dorms but... they where alittle to small for me. I need a big open space... so I think I will probably sleep under that apple tree near the playground."

He smiled at her and nodded gently.

"But... in a bit I think I am going to go bath and reapply my oil..."

"Oh I see.."Sukai said softly her head kinda low as she sat there.

She had really wanted him to help her around school. It was kinda weird looking around by herself but she shrugged it off and nodded. The signs were enough to direct her where she needed to go.

"Oil? For what?"she asked out of curiousity, "Oh and if you do end up sleeping under that apple tree, I'll keep you company at times I guess. I'm not too used to being up and about during the daytime and all."

Azure smiled at the girl and nodded. SHe was asking about the oil and he did not mind explaining it. He took her hand and put it on his chest and slide it down to his scales. It all felt the same, silky smooth and soft.

"THe oil... is something I made. I am good at mixing things and making oils and potions and poisons. The oil I need to reapply allows my body to look just as shiny as my scales and as durable as them too."

He knocked on his scales softly.

"These suckers may not look like much but it would take awhole lot to puncture them. And my skin is much softer than the scales but this oil makes them the same durablity."

For a moment Sukai was about to back hand him for grabbing her hand but finally understood why he did so as she felt the texture of his skin verses his scales. Wow, was all she could really think as she blushed slightly.

"That's quite amazing," she uttered out astonished after his explanation, "So you're some kind of chemist, that is pretty cool."

She looked at his body, perfect skin texture and his scales were not slimy as she though that they would be. Though she felt kind of sorry for him since the only flaw the guy really had if it could even be called a flaw was the fact that he was half snake. But, Sukai herself was absolutely willing to look past that difference. I mean, how far different could he really be?

“So does this oil, only work for you, or can it be applied by another type of person and have the same effect as it does for you?” she inquired eyeing his body a bit more admiring it.

Azure smiled softly and blushed feeling her emotions about him seep into his mind. He was not sure if she was liking him as a friend or if she was liking him as... something more. He blushed and listened to her question. He smiled, this girl was pretty sharp.

"Unfortunately... this special oil before it is applied is rather poisons to humans. But naga's you see are immune to any poison. So by apply this oil to me the venom is absorb into my body for me to use and also whats left protects me. But if a human or some other creature was to use this it would most defineatly kill them. But I am working on a potion that will have the same affect minus the poisoning."

He laughed softly and slide off the edge of the fountain. Alone without "standing" as tall as he could he was a good eight feet. He smiled Sukai.

"Well... I am off the the bathhouse... maybe I will see you later?"

"Yes of course, sometime later, "she said softly with a smile.

He was a good 2 feet taller than her, it would be hard to hug him so instead she hugged him around his waist which is probably where she could reach him if not a little higher a long his torso.

"Good Luck with that potion, I'll be glad to try it sometime."she said as she watched him slither away.

Hiru walked along the brick paths that went through the Court Yard, while looking around the area. So far she liked the Court Yard, it was wide open space, and fresh air, which she loved. After a while of walking, she headed to a random tree where she could rest. She plopped down onto the soft grass, and continued to take in her surroundings. She noted the Sky Bridge, and realized how big the school really was.

Alef shrugged, and shook her head. "I... I used to. I've been... ...gone for awhile. If you can put it that way. I don't really know what happened to everyone that I knew." She looked as though she had slipped into thoughts, or memories. It took her a minute before she shook her head again. "I'm wondering what they've been up to, or if they are still around... I think I've seen a few familiar faces, but haven't yet had a chance to talk with them..."

Logan smiled and waved before walking over to her. "Hey, been a while." He tossed a slightly suspicious look to the guy on the bench [Amuro] while Trin wasn't looking. "So, How've you been?" He smiled, happy to see her again.

Azahlia wandered into the courtyard, hands shoved in pockets, staring at the ground as she walked, shrugging her backpack into a move comfortable position. So far she still hadn't met anyone at Ria, everyone seemed to have established little groups already, and she was wondering if it was worth travelling all this way to attend the high school.

Wolf wanted this for me, she reminded herself, and tried to think positively.

Kali, looking quite peaceful, wandered into the courtyard.She was luggin her guitar by her side, planning to put on a show. She loved the attention and the applause. She indeed, was a star.Slumping down against the fountain, she pulled her accoustic guitar across her lap. She began playing a tune wich seemed to put a glimmer in her eyes. Closing her eyes, she focused with all her might.Above her head, Saya and Truinis seemed to come to life. They greeted eachother with friendly nudges then seemed to stretch. They grew larger, detaching themselves from the fountain. Around the courtyard they danced, swirling about the hot, Summer sky. They twirled and glided gracefully through the slightly breezy air. Then, as the song ended, they returned to their perch and once more lay to stone.
