Gidget was right. She didn't think it through all the way. Then again she can regenerate rather fast. Which is also why she isn't as serious about getting hurt as normal people do.

"It's Amanda. She's been...acting strange. She just snapped at me about something ridiculous, has this weird necklace with a piece of rock that looks a little too familiar to some Meta's AND she is moving way too fast for a human. On top of that she is dating someone with a rather shady background. Lab assistant in a place where he can't talk about? To me that sounds like Daedelus" Liv explained, hardly taking pauses to breathe.

Gidget raises an eyebrow at Liv's accusation for more than one reason.

"You do realize this sounds like an incredibly convenient ploy to get me to trust you right? Also, which Amanda? There are exactly fourteen Amanda's within this facility."

Shane put his jacket on after the hoodie. "It's the only one he's displayed. As far as his range goes I would venture a guess to at least a mile radius. He is definitely the more vulnerable of the two. He hid while his female half did the fighting. But that doesn't make him any less dangerous."

"I'm not taking any chances with the mind controller. I don't want him near any of my troops. It may be best to take him unconscious, put him in a cell where he's surrounded by nothing but machines. If his 'other half' doesn't like it..." she narrowed her eyes as they glowed "I'll keep her in the dark..." She did have a plan B if Ako was unable to shock him into unconsciousness.

"Ah..she never mentioned her last name. But she was attacked by Shane who posed as North. Light brown hair, brownish eyes. That Amanda." Liv replied. After that she crossed her arms underneath her breasts and shifted her weight.

"And honestly I don't care if you trust me or not. Hell if you just look on your many surveillance cameras you can see her going way too fast! Whatever you might think of me, I consider Amanda to be my friend and am worried about her." Liv said with more fire in her.


"So right now we are well within his radius...that's great." Theonis sighed." Well...let's just see what happens."



Cassandra looked jealous as Annie kissed Alexavier on the cheek. At the same it it was unsure if she was jealous of the fact that she kissed him instead of her or the fact that she wanted to do that too.

"Well then...let's see what we have here." Alexavier said as he rubbed his cheek, That instant he 'attached' himself to their minds. Ready to give a few commands.

"So right now we are well within his radius...that's great." Theonis sighed." Well...let's just see what happens."

"If that's the case... he may have tapped in already" she tapped the side of her forehead to emphasize her point, "... it may be too late before we even meet the guy. All I can say to that is, whatever chance we have, take it."

The illuminated stone on Amanda's chest, Kerana couldn't get her mind off of it. She suspected Amanda's strange behavior must have something to do with it. Her ears turned toward Larry as he made his recognition. "Moon rock?" Kerana took a moment to think of what Larry was talking about. "Moon rock..." she looks up to Larry. "I think you're on to something Larry." She strokes her chin and thought and began to think out loud, "Something tells me there may be something more to this... This is something I should tell Trinity or Gidget about... should we pay them a visit? I know you want to go to the pool though... I suppose it could wait... To the pool then?"

Larry was quick to dismiss the mounting situation for the sake of some fun.

He slowly raised his fists in the air triumphantly as he agreed with Kerana's idea.

"Pool!"

Gidget was unsure as to whether this girl was a very good liar or telling the truth. At least she can check up on one thing. Gidget used her internal phone and dialed the Amanda in question after narrowing down the search based on description.

She kept her eyes on live while she waited patiently for Amanda to answer her phone.

Kerana

Kerana grinned "Then pool it is! Right this way!" On her way to leading Larry to the pool she runs into Heather and Deora. "Hi Heather. Hi Deora. Larry and I are heading to the pool. Want to join us?"

Heather smiled when she saw her brother, who looked happier than he had been in a long while. Her intuitions were right. He hadn't been this happy in a long while. He returned Heather's smile.

When Kerana mention the pool Heather's scales returned to their base color. Her shoulder's scrunched up at the idea of revealing herself anymore than normal. She didn't allow anyone to see her without being fully clothed with long sleeves and pants, not even her brother.

"The pool? Oh, I don't know girls."

The phone rung halfway before it did it's full ring. "Vallaha Residential Office this is Amanda speaking how may I help you?" In the background a pile of files fell to the floor, cradling the phone she picks them up. Amanda wondered why they fell, she could have sworn this particular folder was in the filing cabinet. She did not wonder long because that she wanted to focus on the task at hand.

"Amanda, this is Gidget. I have an urgent matter that I need to discuss with you. Where are you now? How soon can you be here?"

Kerana

"Urgent matter? I'll be there in-" A coffee mug shatters against a bookshelf. "I'm not sure but I think a meta may have shattered my coffee mug... and the same one pulled these files out... I'm not sure but if you know something about this I'd most certainly like to hear it... I'll be there in a few minutes." She hung up and placed the folder in the filing cabinet. She stepped out of the door what normally took 5-10 minutes to walk took 5-10 seconds for Amanda. She knocked on the door normally.

Gidget was surprised when Amanda showed up as quickly as she did. The monitors were barely able to pick up her image. She was nothing more than a blur.

Gidget had one more test for someone with meteor endowed speed. She sped up her speech to the point where it sounded like a jumble of squeaks to anyone who wasn't either a machine or gifted with speed.

"That was...prompt. Please have a seat. Oh, and do it slowly enough that it takes you approximately ten seconds to reach this chair in front of me from where you are standing."

"Okay Heather, you are going to miss out on all the fun Larry and I will be having. It seems as though Larry is really looking forward to it. Are you sure you don't want to join us? There are all kinds of swim suits available."

Heather was about to speak when Larry lumbered up to her and snatched her up like a toy in his giant hand. Her arms were pinned to her sides as her tail swished around in protest and she shouted, "Darnit Lawrence you put me down right now! You know I hate it when you do this!"

"Pool. Swim." Larry looked at Kerana and Deora with a mischievous grin. He gave them a big thumbs up.

Heather huffed and let her tail hang limp. Her dewlap flared and retracted in frustration. "Fine...let's go swimming."
