 Once I finish Her Father's House, I'll return my attention to Summer Flame. I've been getting another burst of reading energy, so I should be able to make good progress.

It is with heavy heart I have to say farewell to another dear feline friend of mine. Pretty boy Doc, one of the cats at the assisted living I work at, crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday. My coworker noticed a lump in his mouth and our director took him to the vet; it turns out he had aggressive mouth cancer. You don't know anything is wrong and once symptoms start showing up, the cancer's already pretty far along. So, to prevent Doc suffering any further, they had to put him to sleep. sad I'm going to miss him.

My "to read" books really has gotten out of control, hasn't it? *sighs* Some day I'll get it back under control. I've been limiting how many new books I save at least.

I finished watching the first season of Broadchurch yesterday. I love the cast in the series. Totally did not expect that ending though. Can't wait to see what awaits me in the next two seasons.

Once I'm done with Broadchurch, I'll work on the shows I have on my "to watch" list. I'll probably start with Patrick Melrose. Stay with a British theme, I suppose. xd Especially when you've got some nice eye candy featured.

I'm petsitting my friend's Mom's dog Minnie this week. Thankfully I got the week off from the theater, so I don't have to worry about that.
