The other day my Mom asked who I'm getting photo-ops with at RCCC this year. I told her I didn't want to reveal who I was doing until after I got them because I wanted to surprise them (Dad and her). There's a few celebrities I'm meeting that they would be excited about me getting to meet. Well... maybe my Mom more than Dad. Dad still hasn't fully grasped how cool it is getting to meet celebrities even if it is just for a few seconds for a photo-op.

Pretty excited about it all.
Oh, and I'll be having Felicia Day sign my D&D Player Handbook to add to my Critical Role signature collection. It's almost complete. Still need to get Liam O'Brien and Ashley Johnson for the main cast members... and Wil Wheaton (and maybe even Orion Acaba) for the "guest" members. Just waiting to see if they ever come to a con near me again to get them.

My level of patience and tolerance is starting to shatter. If one more person mentions the fact the living room TV doesn't have any sound... I don't know what will happen. But I know I've tried desperately not to snap at the latest resident.
I already tried fixing it when the first person mentioned it to me. Tried changing channels (because I know someone mentioned one particular channel can stop having sound randomly), tried turning it off and back on again, and pushing various buttons. I don't know what happened. It was working moments earlier, so... just give a bit of time and I'm sure some other resident will figure it out. They always seem to.

Or when a resident mentions the TV isn't working, I tell them I tried fixing it, couldn't figure it out, and that other people are busy at the moment that he'll just have to wait awhile. And what do they do? Go and bother someone else about it seconds after talking with me. Like... dude, seriously?!

Good lord! Stop bugging me about the bloody TVs. If I can't figure it out - someone who is fairly technology savvy - then others who aren't as techy won't be able to fix it. And bugging me about every other minute is not going to make it miraculously fixed.
I feel bad getting a bit snappy with him but I've done all I can do at this time.

Took a walk up the street for my lunch break. It helped my mood a little bit. And I actually was able to check out the costume store too. Wasn't too impressed with the selection within the store; seemed like your typical selections of a vintage variety. A bit disappointing when you consider the awesome cosplay costumes they have featured in their window display.
