 I'm still glad I attended the con... just a bit disappointing when you've got your day all planned out but it all goes to pieces because things don't go according to plan.

I've got about 4 more hours until I clock off from work. And it looks like I've already completed all of the necessary tasks that needed to be done. All I still have to do is remind residents of their appointments for tomorrow and update the bulletin board slideshow at the end of my shift.

It sounds like the ratings for Fear The Walking Dead has been dropping since there's been some major cast changes. I'm not caught up on the current events in the show, I don't know what all goes on story wise. I know I saw an article talk about a former cast member commenting that the current FTWD doesn't even look similar to the one they starred in. I won't be surprised if FTWD ends up getting cancelled at this rate. It doesn't seem to have as much of a following like it's parent show - Walking Dead - does.

Looks like another season of FTWD has been greenlit... but that doesn't really mean anything. Sometimes shows get greenlit for continuation only for the whole thing to be scrapped because the numbers by the end of the prior season say a different story.

My mood is out of sorts today. Yesterday's issues with requests not being fulfilled and residents constantly bugging me about stuff got on my nerves. I even had a moment where I broke down and cried... right before we were having our Oktoberfest event. I couldn't enjoy the event as much as I wanted to as a result.

If anyone tells me about the empty water jug one more time, I'm going to get really annoyed. I know it's empty. I've known about it since this morning when I saw it was empty. I can't do anything about it though because that was the very last jug we have available at this time until we get our next shipment.

I started the last season of ONCE yesterday evening. Definitely interesting so far. The whole child-comes-to-parent-and-claims-fairytales-are-real is bit repetitive but it's interesting how they are pulling some of the old characters into the picture. Intrigued to see where this story goes.

UGH! And another resident has commented about the water jug. stressed
I ended up printing off a sign to stick on the current jug to notify people we don't have any more... cause obviously word of mouth isn't happening.

Now another resident keeps calling down because she's got so many concerns about her appointment tomorrow. I've tried explaining why things are the way they are for this particular appointment but she keeps calling every few minutes. I finally got fed up and went upstairs and notified our med aid to have her talk with the resident the next time she calls because I'm getting fed up with having to repeat myself.
Not to mention, our phone down here is acting up and not working very nicely. Very cracky connection and sometimes will randomly hang up on its own. Annoying when you're in the middle of a conversation with a resident. Or trying to answer a resident's call because it takes several minutes to get the phone to make the connection to answer it.
