Courtyard (North)

Raven changed her hair back to it's usual long hot pink. "Hey do you know many people around here?" She asked him. She was almost sure that if she got special abbilties that her brother must have and she was intent on finding Zak.

Suka could not decide on anything else to say so he smiled his weak smile...but it fled from his face just as quickly as it had attempted at making it on there in the first place. "That's good....you should never get this upset...it's bad for you." He stood up and then realized that his wings were still out he spread them wide and stretched his arms up and a yawn. When his wings folded back the way they were and his arms were back at his sides his wings began to retract. Once they were retracted he went over to Karin and kneeled down by her. He dat her empathetically...and as he did so he thought about the only other times that he had given a s**t about what people felt about things. He never cared uless they were someone he knew..and even then they had to be close. He just knelt there in front of her now...quietly thinking about why she was upset rather then how to keep her from being upset. That was the way his mind worked...

Karin nodded, but didn't look up. Her ears twitched slightly as she heard him yawn, and the movement of his wings, but she still didn't make any move. She only tilted her head very slightly as he kneeled beside her, enough that she could see his knee on the grass beside her. She hugged herself a tiny bit tighter, and then let her arms fall to her sides as she bit her lip. Her ears switched between drooping and flattening back a couple times before resting in a position that seemed to combine them both. And then she suddenly lurched forward, throwing her arms around him and burrying her face into his chest. Her shoulders began shaking yet again with silent sobs as she started cryong once more, unable to help herself. Today had been one of the worst days of her life, probably second only to the day she'd lost her parents.

Seishi stopped watching Raven as Adrienne began to enter the Northern Courtyard. She watched her attentively, again she'd found someone who spoke to themself. She had not become accustomed to this place but it seemed to her that most of the people at this school seemed to talk to thimselves. It wa possible that she was talking at someone in particular, for her ears were not able to hear the words clearly. Seishi gave up on the target, she wouild happen upon him sooner or later as the days went on. This new person seemed to be observant of most of what went on in this place...she saw the places that the girls eyes had met...she had not ben seen. She preferred being unseen over being walked up to for no reason anyway. She had no ranged weapons and despised fire power, though when it came to guns she was quite an expert. There was only one weapon she used and that was the weapon that rested on the side of her arm. She came out from in the shadow that the tree cast and began to move slowly in any random direction, the hood from her cloak his her face but her eyes were watching Adrienne as she moved...quietly they observed her as she observed the rest of the courtyard.

Suka looked down at her, surprised by the way she'd thrown her arms around him. He held her gently though and rubbed her back comfortingly. He felt her crying this time and looked down at her almost sympathetically. He'd caused her to be this way and so now he was going to try and help her stop. He whispered some words of comfrot into her ear as he held her to him and continued to rub her back gently. For the first time in his life he offered sympathy...for the second time in his life he felt that emotion. He'd found reason to stay in this school and even with what he put her through that reason still came to him for comfort. Sometimes Suka felt like he could probably hate himself if such an emotion did not seem so foreign. He was not one to normally love or hate someone...hate was an emotion that he decided he would never end up letting get the best of him. Suka was new to this way of life and though Karin seemed to be the bridge for him he still felt that she too had much to learn about life itself. He'd given up on living for a cause long ago..so if he comes face to face with death he will not keep himself alive for a single reason; either there will be many reasons for him surviving or one reason that he dies. She was his reason for staying in this place and for learning the way things work...She was no less then that yet at the same time she was no more...for different reasons she meant more to him then just that...but in reality she amounted to that all together. There would probably be many more times after this that he would comfort her for any given reason...none will mean as much as this time does, at least hopefully not. He caused the pain he now attempts to comfort...and he accepts that to be true.

Karin huddled into him for a while longer, trying to calm herself, and trying to let him calm her as well. It was really hard, and she was beginning to feel like an idiot. She hadn't thought before she'd just thrown herself upon him, and now her face was burning red. She wondered for a moment if he was mad at her, but he seemed to be comforting her, so she hoped that wasn't the case. She just needed something to distract herself from what had just happened, but she couldn't think of anything. So she continued pratically clinging to him, crying until there were no tears left. Then she slowly quieted and her shoulders stopped shaking. She raised her head hesitantly, for the first time really looking him in the eyes. She wished he hadn't gone away, and that none of this had happened, but it had and she couldn't change that. So, she'd gotten her good cry and now she was going to try and move on. There was no use dwelling on it. The only physical sign left that anything had happened at all was her torn clothing. She sighed heavily, somewhat shakily, and offered a very weak smile on her reddened, tear stained face. "I... I'm glad you're back," she said faintly.

Serenity flopped down under the tallest tree in the cournt yard, a little ways away from anyone esle. She couldn't help but be unnoticed today. She just wasn't really herself today. She sighed and leaned back, closing her eyes and thinking of her home. At least I'm better off here than I was there. She thought, trying to find the silver lining.
"Hey! You got anything to eat?" A black squirrel asked from the branch above her. Serenity reached into the pocket of her oversived, baggy jeans pocket and found a stale package of cheeto's. "Here you go chipper." She tiredly muttered as she opened in and took one out, holding it up to him. "Oh boy!" He chirped as he greedily snatched it from her fingers and stuffed in in his mouth. His tail twitched twice before he hurried back into the tree.
"Typical." Serenity muttered as she closed her eyes again, trying to cheer herself up. Sometimes being able to talk to animals wasn't all in was cracked up to be. She shoved the package back into her pocket and listened to the birds chatter. She wished she had someone to talk to.

Suka smiled lightly after she had told him what she had and looked down at her as he did so. "I'm glad too..." he replied in a soft, quiet voice. He did not like being in his body and seeing through it only as if it were an empty shell. He had hurt many different people without deciding to do it first...it was like a general who's army was doing things without his consent. For so long he had been used to commanding his body through sub-concious messages that when he was taken over by the blood demon he could not think properly. For half of the tieme that he had been lost to the Blood Demon he was lost in the confusion of having free-minded thoughts and yet being trapped in a moving vehicle which he had no way of getting out of or choosing the direction it went in. Suka truly was glad to have full control now...and that Karin had said something of that sentiment in the first words that came from her after what just happened was over made him feel as if eveerything might be okay...the rest of this particular day would probably go fine, and tomorrow things would start to return to normal, the day after that things will begin to move on at the normal speed, and finally in maybe a week he'd be ready for something new again...

Karin nodded very slightly and then pulled back, sitting on the ground again with her arms no longer around him. Instead she wiped her face with a sleeve of her torn sweatshirt until there were no obvious tears left to see. Then she bowed her head slightly, staring at the ground for a second. Just because she'd been healed, didn't mean she'd gotten all her energy back. And she was still a little dehydrated as well. She bit her lip for a moment, and then gave Suka an almost sheepish smile. "...I'm thirsty," she said after a second, voice still pretty quiet. "And I need to... take a shower... or something." She ran her fingers through her hair, but they got stuck on the tangles there and Karin made an odd face of discomfort when she pulled her hand away again. She was hoping as well, that things would be able to go back to normal. Though, it'd always been in the back of her mind what was now inside her. But, maybe being able to heal quickly wouldn't be so bad. She was trying to remain positive.

Suka listened to her when she told him she was thirsty and that she needed to take a shower...he just now realised that the water she had used to fill her wounds had cme from her body and was probably the reason she was complaining that she was thristy now. Her thought for a few moments before finally speaking up again in response to the things she wanted to do. He normally would have just told her to find a river or a lake...because that was how he'd cleaned himself and quenched his thirst for most of his life, but he knew that was not the way that in this society, where technology could connect you to people on the other side of the world, that was not how things went. "Do you need help finding a place to get a drink?" he asked this politeley as he did not know where to ind a shower and so even if she needed help he would not be able to take her in the right direction...it'd be frustrating for her to make it there having to point out all of the different directions. If he got her rehydrated then she would be able to find it on her own, all he needed to know was if she needed help to water or not so he could take her to water if needed...

Karin stared at the ground thoughtfully for a second, and then looked back at him once she'd figured out where to go. "You remember... where the dining hall is, right?" she asked softly. "I'm sure they have water." While he was gone, she'd gotten herself a dorm room. When she'd let herself fall asleep outside that one time, he'd been there so she could feel a little more at ease. But, when she was alone, it felt too strange to just let herself sleep out in the open without anyone watching her back. So she'd gotten a room so she'd be able to sleep properly without fear of anything happening. So, she was going to take a shower there once she got some water back into her system. She pushed herself up into a crouched position, balancing on her feet. She wobbled for a second, but once she'd stopped, she slowly straightened her legs until she was standing. Again, she began wobbling, but she flailed her arms out to either side, and this somehow seemed to help keep her standing. But a second after, she dropped back down to the crouched position, holding her head as she was hit by a wave of dizziness.

Suka nodded, he remembered exactly where they had gone for the food before...the place felt really awkward to him but if she needed water from there to get her back to her regular amount of strength...or at least to get her so she could walk then he would take her there. He watched as she tried to stand and when she had made it to a complete, almost balanced, standing position, he stood uite suddenly in front of her. She started to lose balance and just as he thught she had regained her balance she dropped back down again. He blinked a couple of times loking down at her and instead of waiting for her to try again, he picked her up from where she was and started off to the Dining hall with her in his arms. It would have been kind of anoying to have to wait for her, or to have her lean on him for support, slowing them down and making it take longer for her to get some more energy in her so he decided he would not let either of those be options and picked her up. They had not made it completely into th courtyard yet so they were already on the path way to the dining hall. He followed that same path and watched where he was going rather then pay attention to she whom he was holding in his arms...once see was hydrated she'd probably leave on he own to find a shower and he'd have to find soething to do in the mean time. Right now it was the sooner the better.

[Gah, I'm so sorry for the delay!]

Karin frowned to herself, biting her lip as she clutched at her head for a moment longer. She was about to try and stand again, when she suddenly realized she'd been lifted off the ground. Her eyes opened wide as she stared at him for a moment in surprise and then she shut them tightly, her face flushing red again. "S-sorry," she whispered, feeling bad for making him have to help her like this. Her tail curled nervously around her waist as her ears flattened back slightly. She didn't know what to do with her hands so she clasped them together in her lap and just remained perfectly still. She couldn't recall ever being carried anywhere, and she suddenly realized just how helpless she currently was. It wasn't a pleasant feeling.

He thought on where they could go, he really had no idea on what was outside the school"No clue, i have no idea whats it like out side this school, and for your question if i know alot of people here, really i barely no anybody here execpt you and some other guy i got on a bad start with and thats about it."He wondered on why she would ask him that."well come on lets get going, i wanna see whats outside this school."((Cool i never thought i'd meet somebody who had the same b-day as me))
