Courtyard (North)

Suka made his way back to the courtyard from the dining hall and at himself down under a tree. He noticed a girl standing under the same tree she had been earlier and even though he thought he saw her begin to move before he'd left he decided he was wrong for she stood there under the shadow cast by the tree as if she were a statue. He sighed a bit...there were so many different people that went to this school that knowing any more then two or three of them might begin to get confus9ing as the chains between friends here must be long and tangled. He sighed to himself as he sat under the shade of the tree...if it were anywere but here it might be comfortable enough sto sleep in...but he was not tired enough to sleep here just yet. He sent a Nightmare energy orbto go find and retrieve his daggers and watched it head for the Ancient forest, whatever had happened while he was taken over by the blood demon was over now and he did not want to go see what he'd done by going in the forest himself just yet.

Seishi had been who Suka spotted nder the tree, she saw this person immediately as soon as they entered the courtyard. She automatically began to examine Suka, forgetting about all else she had been observing in this new venue of which she was unacquainted with until earlier that day. From what she gethered he could very well be the target that her master was talking about before she'd finished him off and sent him from the mid-realm to the Realm of Death where whomever shared the body of the Reaper would send him to the Underworld. She did not even think twice before finishing him off and thought he'd raised her it mattered not because he raised her to have no emotions, whether it was of his own will or not. Her final assignment was to kill the one who shared their body with the Reaper...Suka was a very likely suspect for the target...the way he was acting at the moment made her almost certain of his being who she must slay. She was terribly mistaken but for the moment she did not know that and from the looks of it he was weaponless...if she wanted to take him out this would be the best time to do it...but for some reaosn something held her back. She waited there watching him trying even longer to see if he was the target...she still hadn't come to the conclusionshe wanted...in fact the more she studied him the less she thought him the Reaper's vessel. She decided to wait and watch him closely as he watched her...he could not know she was watching him for her hood kept that from being possible. She stood silent once more...ready to change venues as soon as he changed his.

Karin exited the dorms, sniffing the air softly and then starting towards the courtyard. She'd changed into a pair of baggy black pants with a black zip up hoodie. Beneath that was a sleeveless white shirt, but it couldn't be seen due to the sweatshirt, and she hadn't bothered to put on shoes, so she was barefoot. In various pockets she had her mp3 player, the headphones around her neck like usual, and the X that he'd let her hold onto. She took another swallow from the now half empty bottle she still had as she continued walking.

Her hair actually looked groomed now, no longer matted and full of tangles. It had settled over her right eye again, but she made to move to fix it and just spotted Suka with her left. She smiled faintly as she neared him, pausing just for a moment as she saw he was staring at someone. She looked curiously towards the female as well, but then walked up to Suka, plopping down beside him in the grass. "Hello," she said cheerfully.

Suka diverted his attention from the cloaked girl in the shade of the tree to Karin as she greeted him now much better looking then when she'd left. "Hello...you seem to be in better shape then you were. Feeling better?" he asked this but realized before she answered that she probably was, judging by the tone in her voice as she had said 'hello'. While waiting for her answer he looked back over at the girl under the tree...his orb would be back sooner or later and as soon as it was he wouldd put the daggers each in their right pockets and ready himself for departure. He noticed even from this distancethe markings that were all over her body, the skimpy clothing that the girl was wearing made that obvious...the clothes she wore looked familiarfor some reason...but then again a lot of thing looked the same these days. The girl seemed to be a bit odd and until he left it'd be hard for him to focus on anything else...Suka's mind was set that way.

Seishi saw the girl begin to look at her aswell and she watched this new one insted of Suka, trying to find the connection between the two of them. If it were the connection that she assumed it was then she'd have her answer and she'd have no reason for any interest in this person for niether ofthem were the targets. Instead of laying limp at her sides she pulled her arms up so they crossed over her chest. This made the weapon she wore on her right arm clearly visible and made it obvious to all of the people in th courtyard, at the moment, where her position was. All she was wearing was a skin-tight long sleeve top that stopped just a couple inches below her breast (while she wore it), a black thong that did a poor job at covering her all the way, the weapon on her right arm, a wrist-gauntlet on her left, and long boots that came up to her knees. She was never given anymore clothes then the ones she wore now and the cloak was supposed to serve the purpose of keeping her from being exposed, as she was now, when it was given to her. Her owner had not taken very good care of her for any part of her life and when she killed him that ended having a roof over her head and partial meals that came, at most, once a day. She watched the two of them attentively but with falling amounts of interest. She had more important things to deal with at the moment but she doubted that she would be able to do them here...and if she were able to she doubted they'd get done very quickly.

Karin nodded her head. "Yes, thanks," she said softly, seeing he had looked back over at the girl again. Karin looked back at her as well, frowning slightly as her head tilted to the right, enabling her left eye to get a better view. "Do... you know her?" she asked quietly, ears perking slightly towards her as if readying to catch her words if she spoke. Though, she seemed to be pretty quiet right now. Karin's hands slipped back into her pocket, messing with the X like she always did as her eyes flicked between him and the girl a couple times. The headphones around her neck shifted slightly, slipping into a lopsided position.

Suka shook his head slolw,y glancing at Karin as he did so to see if she'd seen his movement but, just in case, as he turned back around to look at Seishi he replied verbally aswell. "No....I don't know her...she looks familiar but I don't know her. Even if I know her and I'm just not remembering...I know it's definitely not directly..." he said this as he examined the girl. She was definitely younger then he was but from this distance he could not tell exactly what her age was...he could not tell what kind of being she was either. She looked like she could be demon, definitely not anthro-demon because there was no tail....she could just be a tainted human but that was unlikely. He was completely unsure about the whole thing as of now, for even though his eyes were better then most they were not the best and from this distance he could be completely mistaken already. He did not see any wings so he assumed she was not an angel of any accord...but some demons could retract their wings so maybe some angels could aswell. He could barely see her mouthbut from her expression he did not think she were a vampire...and he could not smell her from where he sat so he assumed that she was not a lycan. After thinking about it for as long as he had been, he still came up with an undefined answer. If he had her eyes he'd have had the answer already...but his eyes were simply shar...not perfect and right now his vision was still partially blurry from when the Blood Demon had flooded his eyes with blood. He loked back at karin for a moment, wondering if wiuth her left eye she might be able to se better then him but he was not sure...he thought he'd ask anyway. "Karin...can you tell what species she is from here?" he spoke in a quiet voicee as he asked her this...just nownoticing the eapontht Seishi wore on her arm. Hopefully his Nightmare orb would come soon but until then he might aswell try and figure out more about this new girl...

Karin nodded her head slowly, still frowning slightly as she watched the girl as well. But she lost interest much more quickly once she realized the girl was watching her back, and looked back at the ground, hands in her pockets and playing with the X like normal. Her legs were crossed and her tail was flicking behind her casually. Every now and then her ears would twitch, but she wasn't really listening to anything in particular anymore. She did look up though, as she heard Suka say her name. She blinked at him and then looked back at the girl, eyes narrowed slightly in focus. She sniffed the air as well, trying to catch her scent. After a moment she sorted through all those in the air and found hers, pausing as she tried to figure out why it seemed familiar. "It... smells kind of like an angel's," she said quietly, looking back at Suka. Maybe he'd figure out why she seemed familiar now that he knew what she was? Though, she wasn't completely sure if she was correct...

Suka thouht about it for a few momenbts. he had known of plenty of angels...in one of the places that he was staying it seemed like every other person was an angel of some sort...whether they were fallen angels or arch angels or whatever they were they all seemed the same to him. He tried again to find the girls scent...just to confirm what she said and whenever he found it he decided she was probably right about the scent. He looked Seishi over a little more and then decided that she was not anyone that he knew..."I haven't a clue...maybe I haven't seen her anywhere before..." he shrugged. His orb qould be back with his daggers pretty soon so whenever it came they would need to have a place to go. "What do you want ot do?" he asked this to change the subject and gather a good idea of the other places they could go once his Nightmare orb returned with his daggers. She might be able to think of something before he could even begin...he knew the place okay now but it seemed to him that she knew more about it then he did...if she had done alittle more then him while he had been gone then she would have more suggestions then him and he just assumed that she would have. He looked up at the cloaked girl again and then back to Karin after deciding that Seishi was not going to move.

Karin looked back at him, blinking in confusion as he changed his mind and said he may not actually know who she was. Her head tilted as she cast one last glance in the girl's direction, and then tried to refocus as she heard Suka's question. "Well... There's a beach!" she said suddenly. "And I still really like the hot springs." She grinned, but then paused as she realized both of those places dealt with water. As she realized this, she suddenly felt a little thirsty again, so she took another sip from the bottle she still had with her. "I honestly didn't... explore that much while you were gone," she said softly. She didn't elaborate though, unwilling to so easily say that she'd felt lonely. Kana had gone off somewhere with some new friends she'd made, while she herself hadn't really done anything at all.

Suka blinked...either of her suggestions sounded like hey would work. He felt the Nightmare orb coming closer and before it ccould make it's way compoletely to where he ws, he sent four more orbs out which thenadded on to its size. It was crossing in the South courtyard at the moment but once it made it from the south to the north then they could leave so he needed to decide on a place to leave to. "What exactly do you do at a...beach?" he asked this confused more than curious. He did not know what a beach was and there fore had no idea of what it looked like or an of that nonsense. Right now all that he knew was that it was a place to go...and leave here. He took one last glance at Seishi, and sing as she again had not moved he gave up and moved his body to where he would not be able to look at her if he tried...and waited for an explanation about the beach.

Karin looked a little relieved as he asked about the beach rather than shooting the idea, or commenting on her seeming obsession with water. Her ears perked as well, as she tried to cheer up and instead focus upon things you could do at the beach. She paused for a second and then started speaking. "Well," she began with a grin. "You can build sand castles, swim, or even fish and dig up crabs if you want!" She actually sounded pretty excited as she tried to name off more things. "Or, you can burry each other in the sand," she added with a laugh. "Do you want to go then?"

Suka shrugged "Sure...I don't see why not." he said this just as the orb returned with his daggers. A look of relief made it's way on his face and he began to stand as all of the daggerss hit the ground. He picked up each one and put it in the specific pocket that it had been in before te blood demon emptied them. ONce they were all in there rightful pocketes hepulled out the one he usually messed with and spun it a few times to make sure nothing had happened to it, but just as quickly as he'd started to mess with it he stopped and slid it back in his pocket. The beach sounded like it could be fun and it would be a great way to change his mood from what it was right now...he looked down at her keeping his back to Seishi and a faint smile creeping on his face. The nightmare orb simply dissipated as Suka waited for her to stand...if aanyone was going to lead the way it was going to be her...

Karin nodded happily and started to get up, pausing as she saw the orb appear. She blinked, seeing it'd somehow retrieved Suka's daggers. It was hard, but she resisted the urge to cover her arm where one had recently cut her. She didn't know the orb could do that though. But then, she really hadn't known him for very long and there seemed to be quite a bit she didn't understand. His past seemed quite a bit more complex than her own. But, she realized her mind was wondering and quickly jumped to her feet. "Ok!" she cried, pointing her hand in a seemingly random direction. Yet again, she'd simply worn a swimsuit beneath her clothes, so she didn't worry about it. She did suddenly turn and look at him though. "Do you have something to swim in?" she asked curiously. "Though, you could go in your clothes if you don't care. Oh, but I'm assuming you'd want to swim at all," she laughed a little uneasily.

"I don't know if I'll want to swim....if I end up swimming then my clothes will do...I don't change much." he spoke in a confused tone of voice and thought he had nothing to be confused about he did seem to feel that we was confused for some reason. Confused about what was going to happen to him and where he was going with his life now...with a past like his this was hardly the place to be creatng a future. He was following Yuri and when Yuri left then he would probably want to follow...if nothing had changed between he and Karin then he might actually end up staying...but until then there was really nothing big for him to do...he did not want to have anything to do with any of the wars that were happening utside of the borders of this high school...but sooner or later there would be another war that he would be needed in and he would go for one reason or another. Suka did not run from a fight but he did not enjoy them...with the way things were now keeping him from doing anything drastic, the pace that his life was going at might slow and he migt even be able to live a normal life for a while. The things that happened in between now and whatever new chapter in his life came after would be minimal if he was lucky...Relaxing with a friend was something to take his mind off of things like the future...it helped a large amount...
