but girls who call each other ugly are craving for unneeded and excessive beauty.

God, my French teacher really hates me. ._. She keeps trying to bring me down and dissing me in class. Everytime every students would talk, she would point at me, saying "Well, we can see Valerie isn't listening in class, LIKE USUAL". And everytime the class would have an essai to write and she would pick them up, my copy ALWAYS, for some unknown reasons, be chosen amoung a few others to be read in front of the class. Each time she read my text, she would say pathetic comments about it like, as if I wasn't there, "This doesn't EVEN make sense.", "Wow, it's REALLY bad." or "You REALLY need to improve it because your text is to be improved and A LOT." She even cut in the middle of my text because she thought it was just crap and gave to back to me saying how bad it was, with a SMILE. I hate her! domokun

Now, she keeps trying to amplify every little mistakes I make and always finds a reason to point her finger at me. Like today, I was wearing a jacket with fur on the collar. It looks a bit like a winter jacket, but not that much. I went to class, sat and waited for the bell to ring. NOTHING ELSE. After, my teacher stared at me for a second and said "Valerie, your jacket is UNACCEPTABLE, it's a winter jacket. You're breaking a rule. Go put it in your locker." I stared at her, confused. I calmly replied "This isn't a winter jacket and I only have a tank top underneath, I can't take it off." She stared at me once again and said "No no no, your jacket isn't allowed in class. Go put it in your locker." "I'm teling you that this isn't a winter jacket, ma'am.. It may have a bit of fur, but still. And I'm really cold. Can I jst keep it for this class? I don't have any other jackets." "No no no, GO PUT IT IN YOUR LOCKER." "I don't have any other jackets." "Just take it off!" "I have a tank top underneath.." "Well, it's your problem." What a stupid teacher... Afterward, my friend eventually borrowed me a shirt. When I came back to class, I needed to copy some documents for a project our class is working on. I went to the teacher and asked NICELY, without a rude tone "May I go to the library and copy some documents for a second?" She stared at me with an irritating look and signed my agenda so I can go out of the class. I was about to take it back when she was done and she put it on her lap and said to the students in front of her [I gues she was talking to them about the project] "Valerie, Valerie, being a teenager must be hard for you. You're so angry at life" Say what? What is she even talking about? She's the one angry about me. She keeps harrasing me in class. rolleyes I just walked away to do my stuff. I came back and went back to my seat, working SILENTLY. She came to around where my desk was and said "So, how is it going here?" She paused for a second since she saw I didn't reply because I was really concentrated in my work. "Well, Valerie sure is angry at me. That's why she's not talking. Life must be hard for you for being this angry. Aren't your parents discouraged about the fact their daughter is... like this?" Ok... That I DIDN't take it AT ALL. I snapped "Why are you harrassing me everytime I made every single small mistakes? It won't work because no matter what you'll say about me, you won't be able to say as much as I can on YOU. I don't know if you noticed, but you're the one who's digging in the hole. Look, since the beginning of the year, I didn't do ANYTHING to you. I did get distracted a bit, but everytime you would tell me to listen, I would put away what I was doing to listen. Now, you're just amplifying my mistakes as if it was the end of the world. What do you even want from me? You're having fun for nothing." the teacher stared at me and started laughing in my face. She then walked away...

WHAT HER FREAKING PROBLEM? GOSH, SHE'S SO ANNOYING !!!!!!!

Moon Light: God what a horrible teacher! She just picks on you for no reason? Why haven't you or your mum complained to the principal about how she's treating you? I certainly would if I was being harrassed. It sounds the only reason she's singling you out is because you're different from other members of your class (maybe because you're the only Asian). If so then that's blatant racial prejudice. In my 13 years of school I never hreally had a teacher as awful as yours. Some of them may have been incompetant but there was no way they would have been allowed to pick on someone, unless they were notorious for breaking school rules. I am absolutely sure that you're not the sort of person to muck around in class, right?

Teacher's aren't supposed to be like that, she isn't a teacher if she treats you like this.

The teachers that act kinda like that here in England are just joking around o.O
Both the student and teacher knows that they're joking around so no harm done.

@Moon - Poor child. // patpat // [trust me, I feel your pain, my French teacher is somewhat like that too] But you know, confronting people like that sometimes isn't the best way to go.. just keep your head down in class and ignore her and work hard and show that you're above her pettiness. If it gets worse, appeal over her head to your head of year or headteacher. I wouldn't go screaming racial discrimination just yet though, I mean.. it's not like there's much evidence. Hold on there, my dear. (:
