Courtyard (North)

Karin tilted her head slightly and then nodded. "K," she smiled and then turned to head in the direction of the beach. It wasn't too close, but it wasn't that far either. It was just off campus, but she'd made the walk there before and not grown tired from it, so she knew she'd be able to do it again. Besides, she had half a bottle of water left just in case she needed a quick energy boost. She slipped her hands back into her pockets again as she glanced over her shoulder at Suka to make sure he was following. But then she slowed her pace slightly, wondering if he'd come to her side or just continue trailing behind. She remembered one time when he'd walked about a foot or less behind her, and how nervous that'd made her. She kind of hoped he wouldn't do that again.

Corrin had wondered into the North part of the courtyard, having finished fixing her Dorm Room to her liking. At least it looked like a Dorm now. She sighed softly, wondering what she should've done ealier. She looked up at the sky with her hands tangled together behind the back of her head, whispering a few words every now and then.

"Lesse... I signed up for violin, got my I.D., I know what classes I'm taking... now all that's left is to explore the school, huh?" She muttered, stopping near a shaded spot as she leaned against a tree. The school, at least, seemed nice, and she only hoped that she would find it better here than at home.

She sighed again, "Whenever home decides to show up."

Kurenan looked down at Corrin from above in the tree, slightly confused as he listened to her words. Well, he did remember that she was another race, one that had never heard of vampires. He scowled at the thought. But, who knew. Maybe it was a good thing she had never met one. The vampire sighed heavily and stared down at her, wondering why she would be out there without that cat boy along with her. Ofcourse, with the boy's blood clearly on his hand, he couldn't have stayed around. But then again, here he was, with the same girl he had first met at this place.

"I guess I did give her a bad impression. But I'm better that most vampires she'll ever meet," He whispered. Looking down at her, he did find her rather cute. He had never seen hair and eyes that matched. But she looked way too young. She could've only been about fifteen. Then again, he was often wrong. Kurenan blinked. Then shook his head.

"No, no, no, I'm not falling for any one like here," He told himself, then heard the branch snap. Oh, shi-, He thought, before crashing to the ground. He landed to Corrin's right with a loud crash, rambling on about how stupid he was. The vampire then glanced up at Corrin and grinned.

"Uh, wassup?"

Corrin flinched, shutting her eyes and wincing at the sound of the tree branch falling. She always did have sensitive ears. She slowly opened her eyes, blinked, then looked over to her right as she saw the vamire man from earlier. Her fists clenched tightly together as she folded her arms neatly across her chest. "You...."

"...What in the hell were you doing in the tree? What are you, stalking me?!" She yelled out at him, glaring at him as she moved to stand in front of him. Man, this guy was really starting to piss her off. "Just because you think you're better than me doesn't mean you have to go around following me! What do you want?" She asked, trying to calm herself down. Goddess, even men from other races were rude and difficult. Why did she have to even mutter a word about the man.

Kurenan flinched when the girl simply said 'You'. There was such anger in her words, it was almost scary. The only thing was, he wasn't scared. It was just he had never heard such hatred from a woman... girl, ever. He grinned slightly, thinking of how much the girl reminded him of himself, in some circumstances.

After she had finished, he looked up at her with a wolfish grin. "Well... I wasn't spying on you. I was taking a nap in the tree until you came along muttering meaningless words. So don't go snapping at me, miss," He stated to her, standing up as he moved against the tree, his eyes still on the girl. He thought it funny how angry she was, but it didn't show in her eyes.

"Well, now that we've got that settled, how 'bout a proper introduction?" Kurenan asked, moving towards her as he took her hand and bent down, kissing it lightly as he continued to look up at her.

"Kurenan."

Corrin blinked suddenly, utterly confused by the gesture. She hadn't looked at him since he had stood up, deciding that she would totally ignore him. But she made the mistake of finding him staring right back at her. She thought shaking hands was a proper introduction, not the thing he had just done. The teen Fate stared back at him, taking a step back as she pulled her hand away.

"It's Corrin. Aren't we... um, aren't we just supposed to shake hands, or something? What the hell was that?" She asked, stammering only a few times as she held her hand in her own, stealing back her gaze as she stared at her hand.

Kurenan was puzzled when she took her hand away and stared at him as if he were crazy. He had never gotten a response like that before, and it seemed that this girl, Corrin, didn't even know what a kiss was. He smirked lightly and shook his head. As she stepped away, he took a step forward.

"Corrin, yes? That was a proper greeting. Most gentlemen are supposed to kiss a ladies hand when they meet. I'm guessing you do not know what a kiss is then, am I correct?" He asked, quite interested in the girl. He stared at the ground for a moment, trying to think of something else other than the smell of her blood.

"Corrin, how old are you, exactly, if you are indeed another race?"

A gust of wind gently pushes back zeros long coat as he stands on the gate of the courtyard . A simple pack lays over his shoulder as he stands there fiddling with a tooth pick in his mouth. " I've been gone for far too long.....to many days of research and training..." he sighs heavily and tosses the toothpick in to a near by bush and walks in to the court yard and looking around for someone to talk to about the current affairs of the school. " better get started i guess...." he says to himself as he walks in to the yard.

Corrin only rolled her eyes when he referred to her as a 'lady'. Sure, maybe if she was a true Fate. She was only half, and that never meant anything good. She now continued to glare at him, her right foot taking one step back in case she'd have to fight him off. But when he asked the question, she wa caught off guard.

"What are you talking about? I don't even know what this 'kiss' thing is. You really think I'm human, don't you? Well, I'll tell you one thing... huh?" She stuttered, hearing him ask one last question. Corrin Ayima grinned at it, and took a normal standing position.

"Well, that depends on which side you refer to. In human years, I'd be 17. But in Fate years I'm well over 2,000 years old."

Kurenan only smiled when she answered his small questions. The girl clearly didn't know anything about this world. Well, maybe a few things, but all of the 'common sence' was clearly never learned. He shook his head, moving a few stray hairs out of his eyes as he turned to look at Corrin.

"So, really, you're not young at all. I thought you were at least fifteen. But don't get me wrong, Corrin. That's a compliment. So you've never been kissed? Excluding me, ofcourse," He muttered, knowing she was clueless. Kurenan always did have his ways with the women, but this girl was different. If he asked, he was sure she would take him on. He grinned at the thought.

"Well, it looks like I'll have to teach some things about this world, other than the fact that it's cruel and un-fair. Might as well get out of this area. You need to cool off, anyways. Forget what happened when we first met. I ment no harm. Now let's go," He stated, walking past her as he took her arm and pulled her along.

After entering through the gates he headed to the Court Yard. He really didn't know anybody at the time. It really didn't matter to him at the time, he sighed lightly and sat under a tree. His hooded cape dragging behind as he did. He looked around with his red eyes looking at everyone that happened to pass by him. He growled to himself for no apparent reason and opened his book. He looked in it and read it, his eyes scanning the pages as he read the words. No one else could understand what he was reading because the book was only for him.

Kris comes out of the school and out into the Courtyard with her small bag and books and sits down beneath a shady tree. She opens her book to it's marked page and begins reading and taking notes in the other book. Sighing, she thinks to herself This is nice. Nothing better than to study outside. She starts wondering if she'll see Cid or the girl from the Library again, even if they said they would, she couldn't help but wonder. Realizing she had zoned out for a minute, she goes back to her note taking.

She looks at a boy and a girl reading a book.She looks down at Midnight her cat."So what should I do?Study or go say hi to someone."Midnight mews and shino understands,"Ok ill go say hi then."She walks over toward the girl reading a book.Midnight jumps on her head."Hello my name is shino.May i ask what you are reading?"

Yuki had somehow wandered away from Biaksu. She hoped he wouldn't get mad, but she had other things to do than just wait for him. She sighed quietly as she sat herself down on an edge of the fountain, staring into the water as her black, triangular tipped tail flicked behind her. She ran a couple fingers over the surface, watching the water freeze where she touched it. Then she tapped it again and it melted back to how it was.

Then she quietly set her extremely pale hands back in her lap as she smoothed out her dress distractedly, since she had nothing better to do. She frowned slightly, wondering why she hadn't seen Hiro in a long time either. Last time she'd seen him, he'd been with that girl she didn't know... A small frowned passed over Yuki's face, though her icy eyes still held their seemingly permanent look of sadness as she stared back at the water.

'Hi there, Shino, I'm Kris. I'm reading about Werewolves.' she replies. The she looks up at the cat on her head. 'And who might you be?' she asks it, not really expecting an answer, but she likes to talk to anamals. Cute cat, hopefully it won't smell the wolf in me. I wonder if that cat's a familliar... she thought to herself.
