"I guess you can say I the ability to sense those that are sad or frightened."He smiled,"Well at least I have you before someone else came along that would be a shame for me.Some one so beautiful getting away from me and on top of that being just like me."

A soft wind began to blow,"that feels good doesn't it."looking up at the clouds turning darker,"I guess its going to rain,love, hope your not afraid of alittle water?" he spoke jokingly about being afraid of water.

"Yes...what do you think about that? That we are so similar, that we came from the same lab, and for years, yet never knew the other existed until now. Do you think it's just by chance, or is it an unknown destiny?" She asked him quietly, a light behind her eyes.

She looked away, and closed her eyes as they walked on. With her fur in hiding, the wind caressing her bare flesh felt good. She smiled at his water comment. "Quite the contrary. I love the rain...because when it rains, no one knows you are crying." She added.  

[TJ Solairus]

TJ was patrolling the courtyard, looking at the lawn intently, despite the rain. He had a big bag strapped to his back. The strap was made up of roots and vines, but the bag was cloth. He also had a book titled 'Herb Idenifacation for rookies'. "Hmm... accourding to this, fungi is used in most posion or antiposion potions... lets start there..." he said to himself, picking some mushrooms and putting them in his pack. "Now I need the secondary ingredient..."

[Eternally Gone]

Medei walked along the edge of the grass, her black hair blowing slightly. She was looking up at the sky for a moment, and nearly ran into someone. "Oh, I'm sorry. Excuse me." Medei nearly tripped over herself. Feeling a sneeze coming on, she stepped away. As she did sneeze, fire came from her mouth. She looked around to make sure that no one had gotten burned. The phoenix on her body glowed slightly, a sign that she had released flames. "Well, excuse me again."

He was surpised seeing the girl, and he looked up a bit surpirsed. He wished he hadn't. He saw the flame come right at him. "Oh...bugger.." he said, the blast hitting him head on. He wasn't burned or set on fire, thanks to his geomancy, and the flames absorbed into his shirt, turning it from green to red. However, His herb sack was toast. "So much for that...and bless you." he said, smileing. "I'm TJ, nice to meet you..." he said, taking a bow.

As she looked at who had spoken to her, she frowned. "I am so sorry about your sack! Another's belongings gone up in flames. Great...My name is Medei by the way. It's a pleasure to meet you, TJ." She bowed her head in respect. "I must say that I'm grateful you aren't hurt. You aren't, are you?" She said in a worried sounding voice. That was the last thing she needed was someone getting hurt and her getting kicked out of the school.

"Hurt? Not in the least bit!" he laughed a bit. "I'm a Geomancer, I can absorb elements. That fire blast was just a breath of fresh air to me." he looked over at the sack, dieing down in flames. "Don't owrry about that, it just had some common fungi and herbs. Nothing I can't harvest again." he said. "We should get outta the rain, shouldn't we?"

"Well, as long as you aren't hurt. That was my main concern. I got expelled from my last school for an accident like that, but then again, that school was...normal in a sense." She looked at the smouldering sack again, before returning to look at him. "If you would like to get out of the rain, we could do that. It's no problem to me, though I suppose that it should be, considering I'm a firestarter." She said, laughing.  

[TJ Solairus]

"Well, If anything happens, I can handdle it!" he said, very cocky. "Watch..." he held out his hand towards his flaming sack and closed his eyes. He breathed deeply and the flames started to recede, slowly but surely. Soon they were all gone. "Voila! nothing to it!" he smiled. "And if there's a sink nearby, I can absorb a the water element from that...just incase.. ya know..."

"Very impressive TJ. All I'm good at is fire. There are different techniques of course, but that comes with the branding." Medei stated, pointing to the now slightly faded phoenix on her body. "With that mark, I am forever a Flame burning bright. Anyway, where should you like to go, since the rain is beginning to get a little heavier now." Indeed the rain had picked up, and no sooner would they both be soaked to the bone.

"Hmm...well, how about the student lounge? they got a DDR machine in there!" he said. "Also, a cafe, a study corner, and some pretty neat decor." He was already off and running before she could respond. "Cmon, running in the rain is better than standing in it! You'll stay dry if run in between the drops!" He said jokingly.

Taqune shrugged,"Well I was never let out of my static chamber. I guess they didn't want me to be destroying there lab makes sense i guess. I was never really allowed to see the whole lab the times I was out of the static chamber i was sedadated so i couldn't destroy them all. So i guess its not that strange but I do believe that it is destiny. Luck is something i don't believe in,things happen for a reason."

He smiled at hearing she liked the rain but for the reason, it put a slight damper on the happiness."Well you shouldn't have to cry anymore at least not tears of sadness." Taqune hates to see others cry, it tares him up inside when he sees it. That is one of the pains that does get to him...sorrow.

"It's funny, when I was in the lab, I was very submissive. That much I remember. But now...Now I'm not so much anymore. Well, I mean, I'll stand up for myself, but other than that I'm introverted. Except with you of course." She replied, gently squeezing his hand. "I guess great minds think alike. Things happen, because they were meant to happen. Not because of luck."

She looked at his face and flashed a rare smile. "Do not worry. Knowing you, I will probably never shed tears again." She stood on her toes and pecked his cheek lightly, wrapping her tail with his. This was comfortable.

"I fought the whole time in the lab and i'm not all gun-ho about fighting now but I'll do it if I must." He smiled as she pecked his cheek. It continued to stay on his face as she wrapped their tails together."Only wish I could show you-off to my parents." He had a short down spell at the thought of having to watch them be killed, but picked back up,"so no worries then Serika, nothing going to pop up from nowhere?Well at least nothing that you know about or that i know about."

The rain was a down pour now,"We need to get back to the nest I had a friend install an automatic rain cover on it while we were gone. He owed me."

"You? A Fighter? That truely is hard to believe. I know that much. I'm sorry your parents are no longer alive." Taqune didn't have to tell her they were dead. She could tell by the look on his face. "If it's any consolation, my parents are still alive, they just didn't want me." Serika shrugged."Nothing's giong to pop up that I'm aware of."

She looked up, her eyes closed, letting the water beat down on her face. "You are full of surprises Taqune. What am I going to do with you?" She said, her face still towards the darkened sky.
