Bar Stools

The new guy seemed a bit different. Then again, just about everyone here would be.

Michael tried not to jump when Fayth transformed. He didn't know if this was normal or not. He'd only ever met the one werewolf and that one said he was odd by most standards.

As the tension grew, Michael debated whether or not to intervene, his eyebrows knitting together. He readied himself to tap into his power, sensing the water around him, the beer bottles would make good projectiles, the keg could go if necessary. He wanted to make sure they didn't destroy the sanctuary he had found. He would do whatever necessary to protect it.

[First Lady Jocelyn]

"Stand down Michael," she said her voice now laced with a hint of humour, "I'm not going to kill him nor am I going to make a mess." With that she turned her muzzle to face the growling wolf before her and rose to stand as well the bones, muscle, and sinew moving all in coordination under her taught skin and her sandy coat. Once at a full stand she raised her pale grey eyes to meet his, he was taller than her, by at least two to three inches. Then again he wasn't Alpha breed that she could tell, if he were she would have been dwarfed by him. She gave a low growl and took a handful of steps backward and into the middle empty space of the bar, and again half-tempted him to challenge her. If she was going to keep this place safe and secure she needed to prove that she wasn't afraid to fight and that if one should challenge her she would need to be able to fight back. A little show of strength now and again wouldn't hurt either she thought with a slight laugh.  

[Wolfe Whitehorn]

"You may want to both settle down. If either of you tear up what my fortune went into making then I wouldn't be too pleased." Said a familiar, yet haunting, silken voice would reprimand from the shadowed corner of the bar, his form coming to light as he stood and hefted the hilt of his tachi for the male wolf to see. The cold crimson gaze of his vampiric dominance obvious as he cast a shadow over the entirety of the bar without crossing a single light source, creating an ethereal ambiance within the room while his powers fluctuated.

"You may also wish to remember, if one continues to hit on my wife I will be very displeased." He would remark as he stepped forward, shadows relaxing from his form as the cloak he once wore dissipated and the ambiance of the room faded with it as the man remained standing before them all.  

[First Lady Jocelyn]

"He's not hitting on me..." she said to her master through the mind connection that they shared. Though half of her attention was in telling her beloved what was happening she remained facing the wolf, nothing in her stance revealing that she was going to back down at anytime.

Feeling the new presence in the room he spoke in a low growl making sure not to break the gaze of the woman in front of him, " Trust me I was not making any move . And she seemed like she want to see what I could do . Seeing that I wanted to be the new help here. I am sure she was testing me. And believe me it would have been interesting . I have not fought like this in a long time.". Still staring at her to make a move or would she back down cause of him....

Again she smiled, a low growl escaping her lips as she began to slowly circle the male wolf her eyes never leaving his. With her back fully to Wolfe she brought her head low to her paws and grinned. "What to do? What to do?" she thought as her mind began to show the lack of human judgment typical to when she changed to her wolf or were forms.

Blinking a little as he made his way into the bar, Seto took out a crumpled piece of paper from his pocket before looking up at the scene infront of him. The part of him telling his legs to back away slowly however, was quickly overcome by the part that could smell food. A few days without a decent meal can do that to you, heighten your senses slightly so you could tell when what you needed was nearby. Seto dropped his bag to the floor with a soft thump as he looked around the room. Not a stranger of the fairly odd, the sight of a bar fight between two wolf beings was still up there on his list. Atleast the other two figures seemed partially normal. Rather than interrupting, he sat down on his bag and waited to watch what would happen. ~I just hope I won't need to fight too...I don't want to, and I'm starving so that won't help me any...~

"Holding a server platter over his head, Namshi picked himself up and leaned over the counter. (he was hiding under it). looking at Seto he said, "What will ye have?"

As he would watch her circle him . He wanted nothing but to attack her. but he was unsure what man in the corner would do. If that man could come out of nowhere and now he is staring him down also. He kept up his intention and started to bunch his muscles in many responses to her.  

[First Lady Jocelyn]

She cocked her head to the side as she breathed in his scent, trying to determine if Wolfe's presence had inspired fear in him. Nothing of what she could pick up on had proved her theory, he wasn't backing down. "Good" she thought. With little notice she turned her paws to the outside right and sprang in on him closing the distance quickly. Her teeth bared she made for his neck.

She is quick he thought to him self as she closed the gap very quickly. ducking low, he raises his hands to meet hers. he in return barred his teeth also. he had hoped that with such a close distance that they would lock to see how true her strength was.  

[First Lady Jocelyn]

She gave a low growl as she snapped her muzzle closed at the last moment. She then lifted her head and muzzle towards his throat and dug in her back paws and tried to push him off balance with the sheer force of her weight and the inertia of her initial strike.

As he noticed her muzzle coming at his his throat, he was unaware that her feet had dug into him starting to knock him off balance. He thrust his large clawed paw toward her throat looking to connect . He had rolled to brace for the fall. Paw still thrusting at her throat he growled a bass rumbling growl from the hit to his legs.

OoC: I'm confused!!! All four of my paws...not hands or feet...are on the ground. Where'd you learn to fight?
