I've had teachers suggest I'd do well on Ritalin or something like that. I've always felt that meds are a temporary and imperfect fix. Wouldn't it be better if one could control themselves like a mature adult? But no, if we told people to "grow up" the pharmesutical companies would be out millions of dollars.

I feel similarly about things like the flu vaccine and the chickenpox vaccine. Chicken pox used to be a regular childhood disease that had few complications. And if there's a "season" for the flu, what good is a vaccine for the strains that are NOT getting passed around at the office?

Bio: I'm short. 17 years old measuring 5'2". Chinese American. I love socializing, but I don't have many real life friends. I prefer to keep fewer friends, and spend my time developing my bond with them. Online friends are okay though. I have a ton of online friends. Why? because when I was little, I lost a few good friends of mine and I hated how it hurt. I guess losing online friends doesn't hurt as bad, because I don't really personally know them as well. I have an imaginary ex-girlfriend. Long story. She's still a super close trusted friend though. After all, she's a part of my own mind. Why wouldn't I trust her? Anyways, I'm a very strange person, but I've heard things about me from friends. Apparently, I'm cute. o.O They gave me the nickname Ochibi, which came from the word chibi. Also, they say I make for a really good friend. Sure, I guess. One of my friends said she loves getting to know me because I'm interesting. That's for you guys to decide for yourselves when you consider whether or not you want to get to know me. If you do, go ahead and ask. I like thinking introspectively and sharing stuff about myself. Oh, and one more thing. Most of my friends are female. In real life, I tend to befriend females easier than males. But don't take that as being a player. I suck at getting a girlfriend, hence the imaginary girlfriend. I've never had a real girlfriend before. Another random piece of info: In real life, I have 3 different personalities. Combination of social life problems in the past with kind of an identity crisis. Long story short, I used to have a cute/adorable side around my female friends and a cool/tough side around my male friends, but when I couldn't handle it any more, I somehow ended up with my third personality - a shy loner, afraid of saying or doing things because I'm afraid someone will notice and point out that I don't fit in. Feel free to ask me about it. I rather enjoy telling stories about myself.
