I was never going to use anime characters and such, I hate doing that sort of thing, if I'm going to do something I like to make my own set!
Not borrow someone elses. (even though I'm 'borrowing' the pokemon >_>)

I'm going to create 8 or 9 set towns, and will try to have people originate from there, I think I have all towns already set, maybe one more / a few name changes, course they still need their insides filled.

Not entirely sure of what you mean about the breeder parents.

Professors are going to be scattered about the region, not just located in towns and cities (:

Shon, we'll make up the no events for holidays with something! We just have to get this all up and going first.

Oh! That's another idea! We need ideas for events! What kind of things do you guys want from events? Are you happy with how we've done them in the past? Items and reduced training, or do you want something more and or different for events?

Just curious, since you're going to control the Eevee population, should I start without my two Eevees Erik and Enna or should I give up the brother/sister Eevee team. =( And I guess I won't ever have all of the Eevee evolutions again in my control. XD

For different events, some can be tournaments or some can be an ability to go into a rare safari place to catch rare pokemon. But the items and reduced training is good, also.

For areas, why don't you have roads, or even random places? Not really specific about this, but just use your imagination.

For breeding, will certain people only be able to do breeding or will we still be able to do it at the breeding place? Breeder's kids may know how, if they are still training to be partially a breeder themselves.

No, you can still start out with your Eevee's, since you've had them and it wouldn't be fair to suddenly say 'no you can't have them.

I was thinking about roads, and I do believe just I figured out a way to connect the areas. Such as having the same route in two different sub-forums so people have to go, lets say 6+ posts in one route before they move to the connecting route in another area, post at least 6+ times there then they can move onto other areas in that sub-forum they transferred to.

Hmm... I may have thought up of an interesting thing... may be a bit to complicated. Deals with background, might include 'dreams'

Normal people will have to go to breeding centers and such. Still thinking of what to do with the background and such.

And it wouldn't not be fair to say I can't have them, I'd understand (but would be sad saying farewell to the brother/sister team who I'd miss forever. XD).

One idea of prizes for the tournament could be eggs, a mystery ball (which I find as a fascinating ball. xD), or a choice of 3 pokeballs and each has a different pokemon in them. Those are some examples for prizes.

Here is another idea that would be interesting for the future. As people get stronger and all, maybe you could open up another region that is trying to hire pokemon leaders? People could, if they wished to (and had 8 badges from another place) try to run to be a leader. Just a random idea. XD

What I need the most right now is ideas for places that can be in the sub-forums, like a grassy field, a hidden cave, things with catchy names that aren't all duplicates of each other.

I like the 3 pokeballs idea :3

Okay after reading what else has been posted I have some idea's about the Breeder and Eevee population.

The only was to control the population is to put restrictions on them. There is going to have to be a point when you say "No." And people that really enjoy being in this guild will stay and just get over it. (Im not targeting you Perrian I swear)

But you will have to say no, or say each trainer can only breed there eevee's once a month, so they have to work for their all Eevee Team.

And to better explain that say Perrian wanted to breed with someone else's eevee then the could and that would be it for a month and by a month that means 30 days.

On the professor thing, having them in non-towns would be silly because you could run into a wild pokemon trying to get to the professor.

As for events, how about anime-styled Pokemon Contests? Hold one a week (or one a month) with three people acting as the judges. First round is appeals, done by graphically describing the various use of the pokemon moves a pokemon has at their disposal, and the top two/four go on to compete in the second round, paired battles. Instead of a time limit, you could do a post limit, or just skip that part and let them battle it out tournament style. The winner receives a prize (item, pokemon egg, etc.) and a ribbon. Those who possess a ribbon can compete in the Grand Festival (held once a year), where the prize is a rare or possibly legendary pokemon, or perhaps a voucher for the pokemall or something super awesome. Ribbons are removed from all players inventories after each Grand Festival. Also to keep things fair, perhaps have divisions based on the level of the entered pokemon. People can enter two pokemon: one for appeals, one for battle. The one they use in appeals cannot be used in battle. Also, those who have won a contest are ineligible to compete in other contests for that year until the Grand Festival is done and over.

King Robert Silvermyst, that sounds like something done in cities instead of an event. By event, I think ToastyMarshmellow is talking about stuff like for Christmas, Halloween, etc. But I do like your idea for pokemon contests. ^_^

I like the idea, as I stopped watching the anime at Johto and haven't watched very many episodes with contests, so I had no idea how to approach it.

But yeah, the events I was talking about are Christmas and stuff xD Could hold contests on holiday event weeks, that would be cool to.
