Sephiroth Vs Jecht

My opinion, is Jecht would win. Everyone is quick to say "OMFG SEPHIROTH IS SOOOO COOL AND WILL WIN CUZ HES GODLY FAST AND HAS HEARTLESS ANGEL!!!!!!!!11!!!1"

In my defense I did not say Sephiroth would win because he's "SOOOO COOL" I mentioned in my post that I actually like Jecht more than Sephiroth as a character, and gave good logical reasons why I think Sephiroth was a better fighter than Jecht.

On top of that, Even though Jecht was a dream of the faith, they did not mention at any point in the game that he couldn't be killed unless he was sent by a summoner. If I remember correctly when Jecht was brought into Spira he was a mortal as the next guy.

You are right, Sephiroth is defeatable, Probably most embarrasing for him to be beaten by a boy wielding a huge Key being accompanied by Donald and Goofy. But in the case of this fight, I still say that pre Final Aeon form I think Sephiroth has the edge in a fight over Jecht.

But if you think about it, Jecht has MANY advantages as well, such as not being human due to being a dream, so essentially can't die unless someone sends him, and I doubt Sephiroth could do that. And as for Heartless Angel, that takes time to use, and would give Jecht a lot of time to interrupt him. Sephiroth DOES have the advantage of speed, but lets face it, speed isn't everything. When it comes to brawn, Jecht wins hands down. Jecht using his sword would also even things up. People always have it in their heads that Sephiroth is unstoppable, and it's kind of annoying. If Sephiroth is so unstoppable people, then why has he been killed twice? Because he IS stoppable. Granted, Jecht is too, difference being that Jecht WANTED to lose.

Uhm, when it comes to brawn, sure but seriously, I want to see sephiroth not bieng cocky and actually put an effort into this fight, and when that happens, Im sure Sephiroth would Defeat Jecht. (Speed isnt everything? well i'd say Speed>Str ) And about the two bigass forms.. I know Jecht wins.. i found Sephiroths "safer form" noobish.. >.<"

You want to see Sephiroth going all out and not being cocky? Go play the end of FFVII. Cloud and friends managed to beat him. So essentially, if Jecht can beat Cloud, Jecht can beat Sephiroth.

Read this: Though he was defeated, Sephiroth never used the full extent of his powers in the final fight against Cloud, and because of that his true potential is still unknown. Advent Children producer Yoshinori Kitase has said "Sephiroth's existence and will is extremely powerful. There is nothing stronger, nothing above him."

And I HAVE finished FFVII, I HAVE played the end of FFVII.
And I still dont think Sephiroth went 100%.

You mean besides the final boss fight of the game, (I don't consider the Yu Yevon fight the official boss fight) And that he was a legendary Guardian along side Auron. You might not have seen him fight in the game, but you hear about how great he was throughout. Yuna and Auron both held him in the highest respect. And personally I liked his character more than Sephiroth's Not saying I don't like Sephiroth, but I thought Jecht had more/better personality.

You mean besides the final boss fight of the game, (I don't consider the Yu Yevon fight the official boss fight) And that he was a legendary Guardian along side Auron. You might not have seen him fight in the game, but you hear about how great he was throughout. Yuna and Auron both held him in the highest respect. And personally I liked his character more than Sephiroth's Not saying I don't like Sephiroth, but I thought Jecht had more/better personality.

Ok! You got a point there! BUT Tidus was also accepted as a gaurdian too and look at how everyone else was of more help then him LOL! I mean I thought Lulu made a better gaurdian then him . . . although Wakka was probably worse <.< . . . I wish they would have shown more of Jecht AS a guardian and not so much talking . . . I think that'd also help me judge the situation better . . . Jecht had a better personality o.O? I mean sure Sephiroth turns evil BUT compare Jecht to Sephiroth in Crisis Core! Sephiroths has a better personality! Sephiroth actually wanted to save his friends while Jecht only showed that he cared for Tidus at the very (or near) end of the game! Plus he was WAY too harsh on Tidus when he was just a little kid! . . . idk, there's just something about Jecht that just ikrs me . . .So I guess my opinion is a little baised too lol! But definetly having more Jecht fighting sences in the game would make it a bit more fair overall.

I would have loved to have seen more fight scenes with Jecht in FFX. When I heard they were making an FFX-2 I had my fingers crossed that you would play the story of Jecht, Auron and Braska on their pilgrimage as a prequel. But alas we got the P.O.S. game that they released. But yeah, as far as personalities go, I admit that it is a matter of preference that is more subjective than anything else. So I cannot fault you for your dislike of Jechts. There are many characters in the FF games I dislike soely because something about them irks me as well. But at least we got to see a lot more of what Jecht can do in the dissidia games.

And I will agree that Tidus was a pathetic Guardian, and though he's similar to Jecht (Blitzball players turned Guardians) I also submit this, Jecht and Auron did what it took Auron, Lu Lu, Tidus, Wakka, and Khimari to do. Quality over Quantity? Maybe.

DUDE! I would LOVE a prequel game of FFX!!! But I have to say X-2 wasn't all that bad, sure it wasn't the BEST square-enix could do, but I do know that many ppl didn't like the sequel so its cool! I just tend to be a sucker for FF games and tend to love 'em all XD the only problem about dissidia is that they give REALLY pathetic characters REALLY good attacks! and its like "Oh yeah right! If they were THAT good there wouldn't have been a whole story for them because they would've been done in 2 seconds" LMAO!

Ok! another point for Jecht because ur right! 3 ppl in a group VS 5 ppl AND one of them was an original gaurdian . . . wow! . . . auron sucks then! LOL!!! Lulu FTW!! xd

Jecht is featless whereas Sephiroth has many feats. He wins by default.

It depends on the form we're talking about. If they're both in human form, then I say Sephiroth. If it's Jecht in Sin form vs. any other Sephiroth form, I think Sephiroth's gonna be Sin's next snack. xp

I will admit that I found Sephiroth to be patheticly easy (I suppose it had something to do with me being level 80... sweatdrop ) and that I'm only half way through X, but I can see both sides. But if it weren't for Aerith Meteor would have killed everyone. But if it weren't for Jecht Braska probably wouldn't have defeated Sin (and Auron wouldn't have gone and gotten Tidus... stare ). But I've gotta go with Sephiroth (assuming that they're in similar forms Regular Sephiroth vs. Jecht as Sin would of course change this lol)
