Try this he sent out as he locked eyes with a young woman. She came forward and stood before them her eyes blank and her face expressionless. She does not see us he told her then he picked up her wrist watch carefully He took the girls wrist and cut it with his fingernail. He drank a few drops then closed the wound and the woman turned and walked away. A little cut one such as she could accidentally get anywhere. With no memory of me me. The power to control the mind of a mortal as a puppet is where power truly lies. He communicated all this to her and waited for a response.

She watched him closely to see what he was doing but also listened to what he was saying. Hmm I think I got it, let me try. She told him telepathically. She spotted a young woman and with her powers had her walk over to her, the woman had the same expression as the other. She took her nail and cut at her wrist and drank a little then sealed it. Once she was done she set the woman away and she went back to what it was she was doing. She looked back at him and smiled her fangs showing, and a little blood running down her chin, which she wiped away

If you prefer a kill go after homeless, derelicts and runaways the ghosts of this world that no one misses. Was his only reply as he headed away back into the darkness. Power was the gift of a vampire loneliness was the curse. In his time he had passed on several morsels of advice to younger vampires. He hoped this one would use her power wisely and perhaps find happiness to some small degree.

Juliane watched him back away, wait, where are you going? and if possible may I follow you? She asked him. She knew he was an ancient, but she liked his company and found that he was the only one like her that was around and in the same area as her. She was lonely and besides the rain, she found him quite interesting, along with very rude, and down right mean. But she knew it was all in fun. She just wanted to get to know him and possibly be friends

"You may if you wish" This time he spoke aloud his deep bass voice cutting through the dark like a knife. This one was not young yet her parents had not taught her very well. He found it odd and wondered how much contact she had, had with their kind.

Juliane walked forward to catch up to him, as she did so she told him, No I was not around anyone like you or me, you are the only one save for my parents that I have met. I was very sheltered due to the fact that they didn't want anything to happen to me. She explained to him coming closer for him to see her clearly.

"And you never wondered about others?" He asked her sarcastically. "Did you really think you were 'special?" He added. Bran knew of such practices and found them ridiculous sheltering only led to death from ignorance. Knowledge was the key to longevity and power for beings like them.

She didn't like him being sarcastic with her, No I am not special and yes I was curious about others I even went as fare as to sneak out to find them but always my parents would find me and bring me home. She told him on the verge of tears, not of sadness but of anger.

"Then my dear we are going to leave for London, there is a great coven of our kind ther, perhaps there you could learn your gifts and why we are better than the human cattle from them." He took a breath before continuing "And why for us death should hold no fear all things die, there are no true immortals." This was a fact she would need to come to grips with if she wanted to survive, and not become a feral monster of the shadows.

She nodded her head, she was ready to go but was also nervious. She had never left Ireland before. Alright, I am ready to go, I don't want to be a monster or a feral one at that. My parents were wrong but they had their reasons for keeping me hidden. She said looking up at the rain one last time, closing her eyes to let it hit her face. Without thinking she spun in a circle as she had done so many times before, but this would be the last time so she enjoyed it.

Keeping knowledge from someone has never kept anyone safe." Came the simple reply as he walked to the edge of the sidewalk and a cab immediately pulled up without him having to so much as raise his hand. Telepathy has many virtues he sent out to her as he opened the door and waited for her to enter the cab.

Juliane stopped spinning and looked around and said,"Slan Ireland." She turned and walked to the cab, she knew her powers could be used for such things but she needed to learn. She got in and sat down and waited for him to get in the cab, "Sir, what is your name?" She asked him. Wondering what it could be, she was also wondering how old he was, she thought him to be older then herself, Had to be much older then myself, he knows plenty more then I do.

"Bran Fuacht," and I am older than you can know once they were both in the cab the driver headed towards the airport. A flight could easily be purchased and the formality of paperwork erased with some simple telepathy.

She nodded her head, knowing that she was right. She watched him and the people around them at the air port. She continued to watch everyone and in doing so got dizzy. Juliane looked forward and wondered what the plane might look like.

They boarded the short shuttle flight to England. There they would attend the vampire court. He found it hard to believe her parent had never taken her abroad or told her of their ways. It would take some doing to make her one of the children of night now. Perhaps the other vampires could help in the effort. "So, who were your parents and why did they not educate you or have you travel the wide world?" As old as you are you seem inexperienced to put it in a way, you need to learn to keep your mind more closed. Once again he slipped into speaking with his lips to her as well as his mind.
