Sighing loudly, she turned back to try again and spotted two people standing near the gate; a boy and a girl. They looked young enough to be students. Hoping they'd be able to help her, she rushed towards them, " Hey, you guys! Wait up!," she called to them. Coming to a stop beside them she panted for a moment, catching her breath, " Sorry, I don't mean to butt in but I was wondering if either of you knew their way around here? I'm so lost. Ella Claire Feya  ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ Ella bowed in return. She looked down at Daniel's outstretched hand bemusedly. "I'd be happy to help you out, Daniel," Ella replied merrily. Ella glanced at the crater too, slightly wincing at how bad the fall must've been. She looked up at Daniel, her neck getting rather sore from having to crane her neck up to look up at him. Despite the pain, she smiled faintly with warm eyes "My name is Ella Claire Feya and I'd be very delighted to be your tour guide."
Ella then heard a voice calling out to who she guessed was Daniel and her. 'Who is that?' Ella pondered on this topic as she inspected the area around her. She finally saw the figure that shouted out for them. It was a girl with brown hair and fair skin. As the girl approached, thoughts swarmed her mind. 'Is this a friend of Daniel's? Or is she a complete stranger to the both of us? She looks young enough to be a student here. It's quite possible.' Once the girl stopped near the two of them, Ella waited for her to catch her breath and speak. "Oh, you weren't butting in," Ella responded with a small smile. She continued, "We were just talking about that. I was about to show my friend over here around the school. Since you're lost, why don't you come along with us?" Ella smiled wider, her eyes twinkled with happiness. It's my first day here and I have no idea what I'm doing. Somehow I entered the school and managed to do a full circle and ended up back here without finding anything I was looking for," she let out a small laugh of embarrassment, " Oh, I'm Octavia, by the way. She stared at the hissing object on the floor, " What on Earth is that?" she asked, quirking an eyebrow in confusion. " I really like your name," Octavia beamed at Ella before nodding to her suggestion of getting a move on into the building, " Sure," she smiled, " I'm ready when you are," she held her arm out as a gesture for Ella to go first, considering she was the one who knew where she was going, or so she said, " So, what are you guys studying and working on? gaia_angelleft Helga Jurgensen gaia_angelright Helga was humming Ride of the Valkyries as she descended from the sky, with her luggage fluttering behind her on magic wings. After gently landing on the ground, she had a look around to make sure that she was in the correct place. The school's brochure had not included an aerial view, and so it had been difficult for her to know for certain that she had arrived from way up in the air. Helga quickly determined that she had arrived at the school. "Well, here I am at... uh... what was the name of this place again?" Helga thought, "Oh well. No matter. Someone is bound to mention the school's name sooner or later." To be perfectly honest, she really didn't want to be here. She should be starting her first year of Valkyrie Finishing School, but the board of acceptance for the Valkyrie Finishing School had become overly concerned about Helga's 'attitude problem' when it came to dealing with other races, and they strongly felt that a couple semesters at this school, whatever it was called, will help her to learn tolerance for others and sensitivity to diversity. Helga's opinion was 'To Hel with diversity!' (Editor's note: Helga is referring to the Norse underworld that is ruled over by the goddess of the same name, not the Christian hell.) Furthermore, she couldn't care less about sensitivity. And if any other student here even hints that she might be overweight, she was going to stick her sword up where the sun don't shine and see how 'sensitive' the person was to that! Helga wasn't overweight. She was big boned.
Even so, the board of acceptance had essentially ordered her to attend this school, and Helga was not going to be accused of not following the orders of her superiors. As things now stood, she was not going to get into Valkyrie Finishing School until after she had attended school here. Helga still thought that it was a waste of time, but there was nothing that she could do about it. Now that Helga had arrived, her first task was to report in to whatever office that handled new check-ins. The acceptance board had already sent a letter to this school's faculty warning advising them of Helga's arrival. Helga was hoping that it will take little time for the school's faculty to see that she really didn't need to be there, and so Helga can be on her way as quickly as possible. Along those same lines, she had no doubt that her fellow students will quickly recognize her obvious superiority over them. Unfortunately Helga did not know where she was supposed to go, and so for the moment she just stood where she was with a confused look on her face. |

Do you have any other powers or is your technical mind your power?" she asked, awaiting his answer before sighing, " I wish I was good with technology. I can barely work my phone. I can make calls and text but all the random apps just make my head hurt," she held up her phone to show Daniel and Ella the sheer amount of pre-set applications her phone had. Most of which she had no idea what the function was. Looking around, she noticed that this area looked totally different from the route she'd taken before, " I have no idea where I thought I was going but it was definitely in the wrong direction," she laughed at her own silliness, " Oh, I use shadow magic, by the way," she informed them cheerfully, deciding to get the possible awkwardness of her origins out of the way, " I, um, I'm actually half shadow demon," she continued. She chewed the inside of her lip and looked around, wanting to prove her powers weren't as daunting as they sounded and that she wasn't some scary, messed up demon child from hell. She spotted what looked like another student. A muscular girl with pretty white wings and a confused expression on her face. This was a perfect opportunity, " Hey, stop a second, watch this," she beamed, handing her stuff to Ella. She concentrated for a moment as her entire body turned to shadow and melted onto the floor, moving like a liquid across the ground until she popped back up again next to the mystery girl whom she smiled at widely, " Hi, are you lost?," she asked, her voice filled with friendliness. ✯✯✯✯✯✯✯✯✯✯✯✯✯✯✯✯✯✯✯✯OOC: MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! |

It seemed that Octavia didn't quite understand the explanation that Helga had given to her. Of course Helga could argue the point, but she didn't want to wast the time. A boy appeared just then asking if she was lost, and behind him was a girl that was wearing a large pointy hat. Helga pasted a pleasant smile on her face, but she was thinking, "Odin All-Father preserve me! I've barely arrived and already the riff-raff are gathering around me." In response to the boy's question, Helga said, "Well, I suppose that depends on how you define 'lost'." Meaning that Helga wasn't going to admit to being lost in spite of what Octavia and anyone else said. Helga could use some assistance, but wasn't going to ask for it just yet. When Octavia offered her hand, Helga shook hands with her and said, "My name is Scandinavian in origin, and for your information, no I'm not part angel. I am all Valkyrie. I can understand your confusion, though. Us Valkyrie are like angels, only better!" That last part was a bold statement to make, and Helga would have left off the 'only better' part if she thought that an angel was around. As a race, angels were beings that did have a measure of Helga's respect.
