The ocean is everything I want to ℬℰ...
Beautiful, Mysterious, Wild, and ℱℛ ℰ ℰ.

The tension within Roxi was great. She didn't want to fight, but she also did not like threats. She had already lost the servants that were assigned to her, she couldn't afford to loose these two as well. The frustrations built, along with her power, causing her eyes to grow darker. Stormy.
Riyak came up into the picture and stepped in between the woman and herself. This action only frustrated her more; she clenched her fist, stopping herself from shoving the man out of the way. She vaguely noticed that he was speaking, though she could not tell you what was said. Always she kept her eyes trained on the wing-woman and her weapon. Shifting her stance whenever the other did, always staying matched.
Fawkes had now stepped forward as well. She only faltered when he had motioned to the corpses, drawing her attention there. Letting out a long sigh, the mana draining from her, back into the air, Roxi lowered and sheathed her dagger. She muttered curses under her breath in a foreign language, turning away from the scene. She had chosen to ignore the other woman all together.
Araxie made her way to her hidden cave and began heaving away the stones she had placed at the entrance. The air had now become quite humid due to her mana release and it did nothing for her mood. Brushing the sweat from her brow, she did her best to let go of the frustrations. Battle would solve nothing and Riyak seemed none to concerned about what danger he stepped in, but for now there was work to be done.

Lyndis de Ferdoarn
"It shall be engraved upon thine soul!"

╒═╪═╡╞═╪═╡╞═╪═╡╞═╪═╡╞═╪═╕

Tension was rising between Lydia and the tattooed woman. Neither of the woman seem to be willing to stand down first. If nothing chances then there was a fight at hand. The two woman were preforming an eloquent dance of battle adjusting angles of the weapons, waiting for that moment they could jump to each other’s throat. The woman still was gathering mana evidenced by the colour of her eyes becoming darker and darker while Lyndis was gathering her own strength digging into the soil with her talons building up strength for the initial lunge.

The lycan stepped between the two ladies and tried to convince the two warriors to put down their weapons. But to no success it seems. "I fear this fight is inevitable now so move aside Lycan-demon. Thine has no purpose in this fight unless thou want to be swallowed in the crossfire" Lyndis said keeping her halberd focused on the other woman, even though the lycan was standing between them. If he was not to move Lyndis would not care if he got hurt, she would even go to lengths to forcefully remove him from battle if needed. But she was right. This fight was between her and the other lady only. Lyndis opened her wings ready to push herself off.

Then the horned man involved himself in the fight trying to convince them that fighting was not the smartest thing to do at the moment pointing out that there were bigger threats around here pointing out the corpses around the field. Although for Lyndis this was no issue. She could handle any fight if it appeared before her, no matter how dangerous it may be. But it seems the other woman did heed the warning and lowered, obviously not pleased, her dagger and sheathed it. Now that there was no reason for lyndis to fight anymore she took a deep breath and stood up straight again and raised her Halberd above her head with closed eyes as to prepare to swing it. She spoke some words in an unknown language although it clearly was of Tørstårian origin before she swung the weapon down wide hitting the ground with all her pent up power. The axe blade on the halberd hit the ground hard shattering it over a good square meter. She opened her eyes again and looked at the damage the strike has done and let out a sigh. The air had become quite humid suddenly. No doubt it had something to do with the magic the woman was preparing. Lyndis pulled her halberd out of the ground and held it in one hand as she turned away from the woman, spread her wings, and flew up about 20 meters up into the sky where she came to a stop. Lyndis started to look around the area if to keep an eye out for if anything would come for them, but more because she didn’t want to deal with that woman at the moment. As she looked around the soul gem was still radiating a faint glow. Why did it send her here? Was she to fight that woman? No, although she was rude that woman didn’t seem to be at deaths door soon. There must be another reason. Soon this reason will come to light. Well that she hoped.

Riyak Silver
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Riyak felt a little calmer as the other male had come to help calm things down, though he stayed at Roxi's side. As he addressed Riyak about the gold Riyak smiled and gave a thumbs up "yeah I feel a bit better" he said a little more confident at the support from the male. However as he looked at Roxi he grew a little nervous again, it seemed like his words were on deaf ears when it came to her, she seemed to be brimming with rage, for a moment Riyak had to reassess who the real enemy was here. He turned soon as the angel woman spoke telling him battle was inevitable and that he should step aside lest he get caught in the cross fire. Riyak could feel the bloodlust in the air, yet he couldn't just let these two fight, with how they were feeling at the moment one would definitely kill the other, and Riyak would not allow that. Yet just as he felt the battle was about to start Roxi sheathed her weapon and walked away. This made Riyak let out a sigh of relief he was about to go after Roxi as she walked off, while she did back down her anger was still there, he wanted to try and quell the storm before it even started, yet as he took a step he heard the angel woman mutter something unknown before smashing her halberd against the ground hard enough to shatter it. While he knew it was in anger, there was another problem, Riyak was too close. A large shard of her axe impaled Riyak through the shoulder. Riyak fell backwards, a shocked looked covered his face, what had just happened was truly unexpected.

Obviously the angel woman didn't realize as she collected her weapon and flew into the sky. Slowly Riyak got up the metal shard was still deep in his shoulder, yet despite the pain that was flowing through his body, he did not scream out in agony, rather tears came from his eyes "why... I tried to stop the fighting" he muttered before his eyes faded from their usual brown to a scarlet red "well, who cares now? I... I don't". Riyak's muscle mass grew slightly and his fangs elongated. This time the transformation was complete Riyak was no longer himself, and was the worst way possible, he hadn't been subdued by gold, no, pain brought on the change, Riyak was about to go berserk. As he stood up Riyak muttered something in a dead language, one lost to time. before he grabbed the shard in his should and ripped it out. Blood poured out for a moment yet before long the blood stopped all together as he forced the wound closed.

Riyak soon became enshrouded in a dark red aura, as this happened chains seemed to wrap around him, they were a safeguard to help limit Riyak, while he still had lethal power he couldn't access the majority of it, as the chains appeared every time he tried to muster up his full power, rather it left him at half power. As the chains around him faded, thats when everything went south. Riyak's own bloodlust suddenly swallowed up everyone else's as his aura suddenly took a violent turn. His scarlet eyes soon fell upon the male who had spoken earlier trying to help make things peaceful. Once again Riyak muttered something in his native tongue, not that anyone would understand the dead language, before he held out one hand. What Riyak had said were his desires, perhaps it was better that his language was dead, as he had said how he wanted to see the males blood decorate the landscape. Riyak's aura began circling around his outstretched hand and he launched an attack at the male.

Riyak was ready to launch a follow up attack when he heard the sound of flapping wings, looking up he saw the angel woman. Looking at her he realized something he hated her, he completely hated her, she had been the one who injured him. Riyak crouched down on one knee before placing a hand on the ground his aura began swirling around him before he suddenly launched into the air after the angel. His aura soon wrapped around his fist and he aimed a punch at the angel lady. His focus though soon faded, whether or not he hit her, Riyak didn't even know, his anger numbed most his feeling thus he had no idea if he hit her. As he landed he stretched a little before looking at the other two. He spoke again as he began walking towards the others, he cracked his fingers as he walked, he was ready and looking forwards to ripping these two apart with his bare hands

FANTHRALL MURES

Things seemed to be looking up once more - the gold was no longer that much of a bother; Roxi laid down her weapons and the winged woman flew up, higher, out of direct line of contact after a very unfortunate release of power. Fanthrall was out of the path himself, had turned to actually give a hand with getting Roxi's items and help her organize them onto the cart but-- there it all went. He'd turned on his heels; stilled for a moment, and just watched the shift in the lycanoid's aura. The nice turned to brutal and cruel; the air shimmered with power, and then, he was the deer caught in the hunter's sight. Slow steps to the side helped him guide the initial target off of anyone else's back, or so he hoped for just a fleeting moment.

What followed was a blur for him, too fast and too sudden. A burst of raw power aimed at him, and barely did he manage to move enough to not get hint by the most concentrated part of it and just be thrown back with a half-howl of pain by the rest of it. The rocky land drew blood when he dragged against it, fumbling to pick himself up on his feet, blunt refusal to take such brutal, uncalled for treatment. Pain, raw as this one, was rare to be focused so harshly towards him but even so, this was one of the rare occasions lashing out in response was inevitable, it appeared.

Just barely done with picking himself up from the ground when the lycanoid approached once more, Fanthrall cursed something in his native tongue and moved, this time putting himself in between the threat and Roxi; less protective, more eager to return the earlier show of fearlessness she'd displayed. The pulse of power in the air did not in any way match up to Riyak's; it was simpler, less refined, but it was there, as was the swift motion of unmistakable Kinetic; he rolled his neck, a crackling of bones initiating deep with in and shifted his stance, as if he were dancing. Elegant, swift motions ending with a thrust of his horned head forward as if he were naught but an elk preparing to cross horns and from those horns a projectile of thorns was unleashed; the cluster aimed at the lycanoid.

No roots there in that rocky earth; so that was all he had -- thorns of sharp bone, crumbled from horns that disappeared briefly. Ever so slowly resurfacing from his skin as he crouched to grasp the dagger from his boot; prepared for more to come.

The ocean is everything I want to ℬℰ...
Beautiful, Mysterious, Wild, and ℱℛ ℰ ℰ.

Araxie busied herself with her rocks, she could see an opening into the cave already. The winged creature had taken to the skies and that was fine with her. To her side, she noticed Fanthrall making his way in her direction, no doubt to help, then- Riyak let cry as she felt the ground shake. What the... Roxi quickly spun around to witness the scene before her. Riyak was changing. The claws, the teeth, his aura... The man had become a dark, blood thirsty cloud up the landscape. She sighed deeply, she knew what it was like to loose control to power. Noticing the destroyed earth surrounding him, she knew exactly who had caused this. Shouting a curse to the sky, she channeled mana once again.
Riyak had knocked back Fanthrall with a burst of energy and the male leapt back up to counter with impressive speeds. Araxie suddenly flashed back to earlier when she had noticed Riyak holding a small silver ball. It seemed to calm him. Quickly she leapt back to her task and hurled the rocks away from the cave entrance, pulling out a crate. Using her dagger to pry apart the wood, she broke the hinges. Inside, the contents were rolls of silver chains, relatively thin and more for decorative purposes than functionality, but she hoped it was the silver properties and not the durability that mattered.
She scooped up as many bundles as she could and ran to the ensuing scene. Fawkes had just shot some projectile at Riyak from his horns. That was a new one on her for sure. "Foreigners really are strange..." Roxi chuckled as she lassoed a handful of the chains, catching Riyak around the arm he used to launch the attack. Pulling the moisture from the air once again, she launched an ice stake into the ground and tied the chains to it. She did the same for his other arm, holding the rest of the chains at the ready as she regained her stance to catch her breath.

Lyndis de Ferdoarn
"It shall be engraved upon thine soul!"

╒═╪═╡╞═╪═╡╞═╪═╡╞═╪═╡╞═╪═╕

Lyndis kept her eye over the land to spot any unwanted visitors. But so far all she saw was nature and the corpses of the fallen merchants below her. She did see some smoke in the distance but that was so far away that it wasn’t something worth noticing. Suddenly she was disrupted by the feeling of nearing danger. As she looked down she noticed the lycan demon had lost it. Now enveloped in an aura of death and destruction. "so he succumbed after all… such pity" she said to herself and got the halberd ready. "evil that walk the lands prepare to be purified in the name of Odin" she chanted as rage Riyak went to assault the horned guy who barely knew to dodge that attack. It was clear the demon had a lot of power. None the less it has to be stopped. She noticed he was staring at her with its bloodlust eyes.

Lyndis was not expecting him to be able to reach her up here in the sky. So when he launched himself using his new found power Lyndis was actually kind of surprised. Rage Riyak threw a punch embedded with the same dark aura of his and Lyndis could just in time swing her own weapon at it. Her halberd hit the punch causing a small explosion that shot Riyak back to the ground and Lyndis tumbling through the air. Lyndis tried to regain control of her flight as she was falling down towards the ground and was able to stabilize just in time to prevent her hitting the ground at full force. As she landed Lyndis dropped on a knee breathing heavy. That punch did do some damage to her and was able to throw her weapon out of her hand. The Halberd had landed a little bit off and was lying amongst the corpses there present. "this demon is stronger than it looks…" she said getting back up on her feet. She stretched a bit as she witnessed how the horned guy shot those thorns from his horns and how the tattooed lady tried to bind Riyak down using silver chains. Lyndis didn’t expect them to hold long as those chains were clearly more decorative than actually made to hold something, especially something that strong. But it did leave her with an opportunity to pitch in a big hit. She cracked her knuckles and started to build up power. She would love to get her Halberd and use that to strike as it would definitely do a lot more damage. But it was out of reach for her at the moment and she feared that to reclaim it will lose her just enough time for this opening to close. So she settles for the next best thing.

Lyndis spread her wing and took flight again. Raising up a few meters before plunging forward flying towards Riyak. "I shall strike thine down" she pulled back her right fist concentrating all her strength in it as she approached her target. "In the name of the gods! Divine strike!!" She planted her feet in the ground just before she reached Riyak using the momentum of that to throw him a punch to the face. When she was done she quickly flapped her wings and retreated back so she could pick up her weapon. With weapon now in hand she waited and see what was going to happen next.

Riyak Silver
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

The howl of the initial target, that male with the antlers, reached Riyak's ears and made him grin slightly. While the main part of the attack had missed, the male had still gotten caught up in the side of it which had caused his pained howl. As Riyak approached the male moved towards him, his eagerness shone in his eyes, it annoyed Riyak, he wanted to pluck those eyes from their sockets just because of that look. What came next made Riyak pause slightly, it was an odd series of movements, but after a moment Riyak grew tired and focused his aura around his hand again. However at that moment the male thrust his head forwards sending thorns from his antlers at Riyak. Riyak was caught slightly off guard, as such several of the thorns manged to pierce him before he was able to deal with the rest whit a pulse of his aura that he had intended to use to attack. Blood dripped from his several points over his body, mainly his chest and his left arm, yet despite this, Riyak looked more pissed off than anything else at the moment. Riyak began walking forwards with a lethal tone in his eyes, once again muttered something in his native tongue before raising his arm to launch another attack, or at least he tried. It had been unexpected, while Riyak had been occupied by the males attack Roxi had wrapped silver chains around his arm. His arm shuttered a little due to the silver its influence messed with his focus, before he could react his other arm was chained down as well. Riyak clenched his teeth, his head was pounding from the silver it felt like nails digging into his skull. In a fit of anger Riyak grabbed the chains and began pulling them attempting to break them apart, yet as he did another voice caught his attention one claiming to strike him down. The angel woman suddenly landed infront of Riyak, using her momentum she planted her fist on Riyak's face. The chains broke as Riyak went flying backwards. he tumbled end over end before finally coming to a stop a fair distance away.

Riyak was motionless for a moment, though his bloodlust had not faltered. Slowly he began to move again, forcing himself up, his face was now bloodied from the punch. He was hurt that was clear but not as damaged as one may have thought, at the last moment before he had been hit by the angel woman, he had focused his aura to lessen the blow from her fist. Wiping the blood from his face he grabbed the silver chain that was still around his wrist and broke it free before tossing it away from himself. His head now clear, he approached the three each, were now ready for battle, while that meant they would probably overpower him eventually Riyak didn't care, if he could just kill one of them or at the very least wound them badly it would mean victory in his own twisted reality. Riyak's eyes soon settled on the angel woman, she had been the one to hurt him so he decided to return the favor. Riyak raised both hands and focused his aura around them. For a moment it looked like Riyak was going to use another ranged attack, rather than that though Riyak slammed his hands into the ground and at that moment his aura swirled around his feet as well and he launched himself towards the angel woman at great speed. Before he had launched himself he did note that she was now wielding her weapon once again, as such when he landed before her there was a small glint as he unsheathed a short sword and swung it with his right hand aimed to collide with her halberd, his main attack was in his left hand as his aura accumulated there before he launched a point blank blast at the angel woman. "Varl" he muttered, a word that was defined as 'die' in his native language

Riyak was sent back by his attack, quickly he turned to face the others, he didn't have time to check his opponent, he hoped an attack that close wouldn't be dodged but it wasn't out of the question, but on the other hand the other two were bound to attack as such he quickly turned and began rushing towards the others, sword raised and his aura was ready to go. As he neared his left hand gather aura and he launched a blast at Roxi, mainly because she was the only one he hadn't directly attacked yet.

FANTHRALL MURES

Fanthrall's motion was pained, slower than it might have been, a slight limp where the blast had hit him and the man truly was unused to pain, usually preferring to avoid conflict and make a run for it but there he was now, staring down the ferocious beast before him and mentally cursing his soft heart for having come down to offer aid at all. The struggle against the silver chains Roxi so generously aimed at the man to try and hold him back came as mild relief, followed by a desire to snap at the winged woman and shake some sense into her because he did hope those would've held, if she hadn't pranced in with her horrid (dreadfully so) power and punched the damned lycanoid straight out of them. Then, for a moment there was more hope, misplaced ever so sadly.

Fanthrall shifted his stance once more, spared a longing glance back at his cart, knowing there wasn't all that much he could do at all. No time to build anything, no time to trap him, gold hadn't brought forth an influence currently favorable in any way and he was just... lost. The blur of the battle went by swiftly and he focused himself once more, dagger in his hand balanced and moved into a position he could try and use to block a coming attack, though he doubted it was going to hold against a sword. Better an attempt, he decided, than a sword through his gut. Knowing his speed was hindered, Fanthrall chose to stand his ground, launching another set of projectiles at the demonic male and attempting to use the distraction to try and dodge himself out of the way of any direct blows. "Come! Together, yes!" he called out, attempting to urge for the pair to try and syncronize enough to have any proper chance to come out of it without being battered pieces of meat, laying next to those dead merchants.

Should the lycanoid come at him, he'd have his dagger ready, more than likely to break in the process of attempting to block a sword, possibly dealing more damage but he'd given the all he could. Still not a fighter in the throes of a battle but more than willing to attempt to at the very least stay alive, putting his hope into the two women, if he could only try to keep the lycanoid distracted enough.

The ocean is everything I want to ℬℰ...

A mixture of disappointment and frustration made its way across Roxi's face as she watched the chains break. She cursed the winged woman again. The punch did some damage, yes, but she had seen that silver had given Riyak pause. "Blasted bird brained trollop...mind your own damn business next time." She grumbled loudly.

A moment later, an aura blast whizzed by, clipping her leg briefly, had she not been intently watching her foe, she would have been caught directly. The warpath was now aimed at her and she grinned at the challenge, for a captain never backs down. Unsheathing her dagger, Araxie spoke a few native words and the blade shimmered lightly, transforming into an elongated cutlass. Swordplay was her forte and she had to admit that deep down she was a bit excited.

Calmly she stepped toward Riyak as he rushed toward her, completely ignoring the bleeding wound on her leg, and gathering as much mana as she could. Her tattoos began to glow faintly, emanating a faint blue pulse. Silently, she swore to herself that if the winged woman called her a demon due to this, she would find a way to pluck every last feather from her. Laughing at her own thoughts, Roxi met Riyak's sword with her own. The sound of the metal clashing rang out through the area, echoing off the cliffs.

She graced the Lycanoid some leeway, allowing him to believe he had the upper hand for only a moment before she parried his blade and lassoed the remaining chains around his aura attacking arm. In almost dance-like motions, the woman had ducked under his arm, yanking on the chains, pulling it behind him in a rather unnatural form and hooking the rest of the chains about Riyak's neck. Forcing him to the ground with a kick between the shoulder blades. "And now you sleep, beast..." Staking the chains to the ground with her cutlass, Roxi raised both hands above Riyak, releasing the entirety of her acquired mana, encasing him in a layer upon layer of ice.

Araxie sent up a silent prayer to the gods that this would work as planned, she knew not the depths of his power, but she knew this attack would drain most of her energy stores and leave her quite vulnerable. She could tell that Fanthrall was no warrior and the last thing Roxi wanted in this world, would be to have to completely rely on the winged woman for help, especially in a combat that she was the cause of.

Lyndis de Ferdoarn
"It shall be engraved upon thine soul!"

╒═╪═╡╞═╪═╡╞═╪═╡╞═╪═╡╞═╪═╕

Her punch connected and launched the lycan-demon out of its silver restraints. Lyndis was happy with the hit. Although it might not be enough to kill the demon it sure should have done a lot of pain. By the time Riyak got up Lyndis had been able to retrieve her fallen weapon and was already in position to defend the counter attack. She was actually impressed by how resilient Riyak was. Not many would be able to stand up so quickly after such a punch as she saw him remove any of the silver chains that were on him left. Lyndis noticed the others were also readying themselves for an incoming attack as she gripped onto her halberd’s handle preparing to strike. They already did some good damage to their opponent. Now they just need to hold out and they will be able to end this fight soon.

"that will not work" she thought as Riyak started to accumulate his dark aura again looking like he was preparing to do a ranged attack towards her. Lyndis started to speak words in the Torstarian angelic language of hers and the many silver crosses as well as the magic orb in her weapon started to faintly glow. She was preparing some kind of magic to help her defend against that attack. But then out of nowhere Riyak switched his attack pattern and launched himself towards her pulling out his sword and swung it towards Lyndis. Just in time she could redirect the swing of the blade with her weapon to miss her but in so she gave Riyak the opening he needed for his follow up attack. Upon realising this when she saw the aura covered hand Lyndis had to do something fast or this could end badly for her. But there was nothing she could do now except. "PURIFICARE" she yelled and a bright flash was emitted from the silver and her weapon just before the blast would launch. Lyndis was launched away by the blast and crashed into the ground a fair distance away.

"arggg… that could have been worse" she grumbled as she got herself up again. She instantly grabbed to her left shoulder as a spurt of pain went through her. As she looked she saw her shoulder was bleeding. That attack had done quite some damage to her. It could even have been the end if she didn’t released that purification spell just in time to lessen the dark power of the blast. Although the spell was more aimed on blocking long range magic attacks she was happy it still worked good enough point blank. "I can’t go on much longer… this has to end now" she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She started to gather power again causing an invisible vortex around her. As she opened her eyes they were glowing pure white. "I shall eviscerate body and soul" she said before spreading her wings and flying up high into the sky. Up in the sky Lyndis raised her halberd straight up and the gem in it started to glow bright yellow. Small sparks started to emit from the weapon and more and more of them appear as magical power was drawn into the weapon. Ultimately all the electrical energy was pulled in and the blade of the halberd was glowing yellow as well. "in the name of the gods" Lyndis lowered the weapon and then pulled it into a throwing position. She looked down unto her target as the tattooed lady restrained it again putting it into a cage of layer after layer of ice. This should not hinder Lyndis’s attack that much. She pulled back, readying and then "PERISH!" she threw the electrically imbued halberd down towards Riyak hitting the ice cage hard. As the weapon hit the ice it discharged all of its pent up energy into it obliterating the top few layers of ice. But most of all went through it to electrocute Riyak in his icy tomb. After the lance was done discharging Lyndis dived down and snatch her weapon out of the remainder of the ice cages before landing a few meter away of Riyak. "you’re lucky to survive" she said panting heavily. Blood was still running down her weapon arm as she turned. The lycan demon was lucky that ice was there. If that attack would have hit him directly who knows how bad that could have ended for him. She raised her weapon again but knew there was not that much fight in her left. And by the look of it neither was in either of her companions. Let’s hope that last attack was enough to keep the lycan down or at least paralyzed.

Riyak Silver

As Riyak approached Roxi and the male he watched as the projectiles were launched from the male again, however, this time, he was fully ready for them. Sword raised he was able to deflect the shots with perfect precision. Riyak smiled as he ran towards them, he fangs gleamed only enhancing his psychotic smile. Riyak soon began to wonder if he killed one of them, especially the male, that he should mount their heads somewhere head, in the males case, perhaps beside a good buck. Riyak's attention soon shifted back to Roxi as her dagger suddenly transformed into a cutlass, he smiled at that. He'd try the same trick he used with that angel woman, distract her with a sword strike and lay into her with an aura attack. It was even better since he doubted Roxi had the mobility of the angel woman.

The two collided blades shortly after they started running, Riyak felt the strength of her blade, while strong in her own right she didn't have the brute power Riyak had, not that it mattered, dueling blades was not the intention. Riyak soon raised his left arm, a murderous glare reflected in his eyes. Yet as he was about to attack, she parried off his blow. Riyak lurched forwards a little before his arm was wrapped with silver again, once again his head began pounding as the silver made contact with his body. His arm was soon yanked backwards behind his back, where the rest of the chains were wrapped around Riyaks neck, Riyak began struggling as his head felt like it was going to explode, that was until he was kicked to the ground. Riyak caught himself with his free hand, dropping his sword in the process. Riyak's blood was boiling now, small cracks began forming in the chains as he struggled to free himself. Veins became visible on his neck even as he struggled. Suddenly Riyak felt cold, not just in one place either his whole body was frozen. The ice only continued to grow as Roxi drained her mana reserves. While everything was quiet for a moment, and ungodly feeling beset the area around the frozen Riyak. The scarlet red glow of his eyes shone through the ice, and suddenly Riyak's aura engulfed the ice. While nothing happened at first, small cracks began forming from the core, where Riyak was and began spreading outwards. Yet that progress was stopped as a voice rang through the area, the angel's voice. Riyak would have had a couple choice words if he was able to speak, as he had thought he had dealt with her

There was the impact of the spear, which vibrated through Riyak. As the electricity discharged and seared through Riyak's flesh a scream could be heard, it was unearthly what one would put with a demon. After the weapon was removed Riyak slowly got up, the ice had all crumbled from the attack, even his chains had broke. His aura had enforced his body so he was alive but barely. The fact that he could move was a miracle. As he crawled out of the ice he looked at the group, his scarlet eyes began dimming until they reverted back to normal. Blood was spattered across his whole body and, he felt as if he had been run over by a stampede of elephants. "ugh... wha-what happened to me?" he asked before collapsing, he was still awake, but his arms and legs just lacked the strength to keep him up anymore

FANTHRALL MURES

Something of a relief engulfed Fanthrall when Roxi and the-- oh God what was she again took the brunt of the fight. His horns once more spreading on his head, growing into the crown they were, he watched without attempting to get in the way without a good reason. Were there a need, he told himself he would have tried to give it his all, as little as there was in that current moment but whilst he was half-certain that even the graze of the former blow had likely cracked some bones, he wasn't eager to attempt to take the lycanoid on just like that. With awe he watched Roxi fight, took in the sheer power with which she trapped the lycanoid in that ice cage, followed up by a possibly even more impressive attack by the other woman. Best not to get on the wrong side of either of them, he decided, gaze focusing on their current enemy who slowly but surely seemed to be getting back to his senses.

With hesitation did he glide his dagger back into the boot, taking a few hesitant steps closer and then turning away all together to limp back towards the cart to shift through the bundles on it in attempt to find some salves and cloth to use as bandages. "Little friend back? Act like person now?" There was doubt in his words, certain disapproval towards trusting the male ever again. He'd attacked them and frankly, that was more than enough to get on Fanthrall's bad side. Make him bleed and he'll hold a grudge until the end of times, which was why it were the woman he was limping towards with a small clay pot and cloth in his hands, once his observations had confirmed it was unlikely for the man to assault them again. "We tie this one down, yes? No attack. I no trust. Big--" Fanthrall made some growling sounds to confirm his current anger further. "Mend wounds?" he offered, reaching out to provide his current undoubtedly stolen belongings for the pair. Whether or not they chose to try and tie the lycanoid's wounds was entirely up to them-- he wasn't going to go anywhere near him and he sure as hell wasn't going to attempt to risk his own life again by trying to help this one.

Roxi and Lyndis, however, deserved some support and assistance. Perhaps even some water, if there was any around because he doubted the little flask in the cart had enough left for either of them to truly be sated. Glancing up at the sky, and grimacing at the scent of more blood in the air, he huffed. "Must go before night-- too dangerous out here. Hurry now, hurry," he urged, still eager to get going and having half a mind to leave the demonic beast lay there and fade away. A snack for the beasts out there in the Spires.

Ara✘ie

The ocean is everything I want to ℬℰ...
Beautiful, Mysterious, Wild, and ℱℛ ℰ ℰ.

Araxie heard the other woman shout and looked up just in time to jump out of the way of the incoming weapon. The electricity penetrated the ice and see saw Riyak writhe. He had let out a scream that almost deafened her. Quickly covering her ringing ears, she stumbled further away from him, panting softly from her own exhaustion.

Slowly but surely, Riyak was coming to his senses, thank the gods for that. She watched him collapse to the ground, undoubtedly just as exhausted as she. Standing there for a moment she studied him; when she determined he was no longer a threat, Roxi slowly helped the man to his feet...sort of. Together they limped to a nearby boulder where she propped Riyak up against it. "Rest now..." She spoke softly, rising to her feet and moving to retrieve her cutlass. At her touch, the blade shortened once again into a dagger and she place it in it's sheath on her belt.

Roxi faintly heard Fanthrall's voice, her ears still ringing, and looked up to see him making his way over to them, holding a small clay pot and some cloth, obviously some sort of medicine. She smiled slightly. This man had put himself, his charge, and his possessions in danger to help once before and now after a battle that was not his, after being wounded in said battle, here was again trying to help. Any other would have left the scene as soon as possible. "Thank you." Roxi spoke to him. "This was not your battle, yet you stayed...and fought bravely at that. I have no sufficient words to express my gratitude."

Promptly she applied the offered salve and tied the cloth around her thigh, covering the wound. She could already feel the herbs numbing the pain. Grateful for any small relief, Araxie made her way back to the cave where she had the cargo stored. "If you still accept, my offer still stands." She called out to Fanthrall. Lifting a single crate above her head, she carried it back to the group. "However, we will have to move quickly to load it or find a safe camp until daylight."

Opening it revealed miscellaneous metal jars, vases, and bowls. Shaking her head lightly at her own internal jokings, she pulled out a medium sized jar and waved her fingers over it causing it to spontaneously fill with water. Passing it to Fanthrall, she did the same twice more. She turned and made her way back to where she had placed Riyak, practically thrusting one jar into the winged woman's hands on her way. stifling a growl. Sitting next to Riyak, she lifted the water to his lips. "Drink..."

Lyndis de Ferdoarn
"It shall be engraved upon thine soul!"

╒═╪═╡╞═╪═╡╞═╪═╡╞═╪═╡╞═╪═╕

Thankfully. The combined effort of both Lyndis and the tattooed lady was enough to knock Riyak down. Although badly wounded he still was alive, which was a miracle on its own seen to what kind of beating he had to endure with that last attack. "pray the god for thine life, it was not kept easily" Lyndis whispered clenching her fist on her chest. She still was panting heavy from her effort in that attack but was quick to catch her breath again. She placed her free hand on her wounded shoulder and started to pray in her Torstairian angelic language. Translated the prayer she said was something like "blood, flesh and bones. Bound by mortal coil. Undo onto you the damage has been done. Recover what was broken, return what was destroyed. In gods light, Heal!" a warm white light started to glow from the palm of her hand. The wound on her shoulder started to heal under the magic light and soon it was nothing more than a red spot on her shoulder.

As she looked to what the others were doing she saw how Fenthral gave Araxie the medical supplies which she used to treat her own wounds with them. Then the tattooed woman walked to a hidden cave. The woman took out an crate and brought it to the group telling that they should leave soon if they were to reach an safe place to rest before the night before opening it to reveal it contain all kind of containers. The woman filled them with water by the use of her magic and passed them around pretty much shoe it into Lyndis’s hands. "what kind of brew shall this be?" she wondered as she examined the liquid in the cup. It looks like plain water. No, that can’t be true. That woman must have done something to it. Lyndis started to walk towards the fallen demon and the tattooed lady who was trying to let the boy drink from the water. The battle may be over but het duty has not been fulfilled yet. She poured the liquid out of the cup onto the ground leaving the metal container on a rock along the way. Once she was in front of the two she pointed her halberd towards the boy holding it but inched from his face. "in the name of the gods I must vanquish all evil. To purify these lands of the taint of undead and demon alike" she said but then there was a hesitation in her stance. An inner conflict occurred within the angel. "you have shown signs of evil power" Lyndis raised her halberd with one hand as it looked to strike down upon the defenceless boy to finish him off once and for all. But then she placed the weapon on her back and she let out a disapproving sigh "but you are demon no more it seems… for now" She opened her wings and flew to the cart of the horned man and started looking through it. She pulled out a thick rope and steadily walked back towards Riyak and the woman. "mind if I use this?" she asked the horned guy but wasn’t going to wait for an answer and just went on.

Upon returning to the two Lyndis looked at the woman. "go prepare for us to leave. I shall tend to this one’s care" she more instructed the woman than asked. Lyndis knelt down in front of Riyak and started to tie his hands behind his back "I apologize for this but thine are still a threat. I shall bring you to a safer location before we decide what thine fate shall be" she said to the lycan while she was binding the ropes around his wrists. When she was done with that Lyndis moved to the lycans front and held her hand out towards the worst of the wounds. She spoke the healing prayer again and the light in the palm of her hand glowed again starting to heal the boy’s wounds ever so slowly. Lyndis still was completely convinced the boy was harmless. But for now this has to do. But if the lycan’s evil side comes out again during this trip Lyndis has no other choice than to give him solace in death as the gods will it

Riyak Silver
User Image

As Riyak laid there he could feel something off, his body ached yet he could feel his own power pulsing beneath the surface. Something was wrong with the chains the bound his power, it was almost like he could feel power returning to himself, it wasn't all of it, but perhaps a tenth had returned. Riyak's body trembled, while thankfully he was in no physical state to use this power, nor was he in that evil mind set anymore, but the fact that some of his power had returned was terrifying.

Riyak felt an arm on him,and as he struggled to his feet with aid, he soon saw it was Roxi. The two sort of hobbled over to a nearby boulder where Roxi set him down. She told Riyak to rest before she left to go do something that Riyak didn't care to see. Riyak slowly surveyed the area. Everyone looked beat up, and there was something else. It was embodied by the other male the most, that look, distrust mixed with fear and anger, Riyak knew at that moment that he had lost control. Silently he thanked whomever may be listening, that everyone was alive. Soon Roxi came back and lifted a jar of water to him telling him to drink. "Roxi, thank you, I don't deserve this" he said weakly. Yet as he was about to take a sip the angel woman suddenly aimed halberd at him. "then go ahead, I'm in no position to argue, but if your just going to toot your own horn I'd like to take a drink please" he said before swallowing a mouthful of water that Roxi offered him. The cold liquid felt delightful as it made its way through him.

Riyak's attention soon shifted as the angel woman raised her halberd above her head, it almost looked like she was going to deal the final blow now, yet Riyak showed no sign's of objection, he always figured that one day he would die like this. Despite his acceptance for death it did not come as the angel woman placed the halberd on her back and said it appeared that he was a demon no more, Riyak grumbled a little at that statement "I was never a demon to start with" he muttered though by then she had already flown off. "well I guess after this I may as well be a demon" he muttered to himself. Soon the angel woman came back with some thick rope. She basically ordered Roxi to leave and that she would take care of Riyak. Riyak nodded towards the angel woman "thank you Roxi, its nice to see someone doesn't outright hate me after that display" he said to try to avoid conflict between the two. The angel woman soon took Riyak's hands and began to tie them behind his back. "Hey angel lady, I don't believe I caught your name" Riyak said as he was being tied up. After she finished with the ropes the angel moved to Riyak's front and held out her hand to Riyak's worst wounds. Her hand soon lit up and Riyak's worst wounds began to heal. Riyak was visibly surprised by this action "what happened to your mission, even if I'm normal now, doesn't healing me but you all in more danger?" Riyak asked as energy returned slightly to him with the healing. Slowly he mustered enough energy to stand. With that energy he looked at everyone around him "I'm sorry... you all had to deal with that" Riyak said with a ashamed look to is face "those are the negative qualities I was talking about before"
