Hi, I am 17 years old and I play the oboe & saxophone. I have been playing the sax for 9 years and the oboe for 4 years. Classical music is my favourite type of music. I form part of a local band club where I play both the oboe and the saxophone and I'm also part of a school orchestra where I play the oboe only and I'm also the soloist in both of them. My ambition is to become a pro. musician and to form my own band/ensemble. heart

I've been playing violin for nine years;
seven in an orchestra, and two on my own.
I also play a little cello and string bass.

I have been singing all my life.
I spent one year as a soprano in Concert Choir.
Starting fall, I will be a soprano
in my college's International Vocal Ensemble.

I have also spent one year in marching band's pit.

I LOVE music. It's helped me through my toughest times,
and I have no idea where I'd be without it.

Hi guys, I'm star. I'm more of a fan and admirer than a player as I never got a chance to learn an instruement when I was younger. I would love to be part of an orchestra though and I have just bought myself a flute. I'm hoping to teach myself to play. Not sure if my dream will be do-able by someone who is self taught but I'm more than willing to give it my all. (and more than likely give up after a week and pay for actuall lessons xd )

I've played the flute for about 3 years. I thought it was alright, but maybe not a good fit for me...

For the past 2 years I have been focusing on playing the violin. I am a soloist (unfortunately no opportunities for strings where I am) and I enjoy playing a variety of pieces. I have no favorite composer or piece, but I seem to like pieces from England around the early 1800s to the mid 1800s. My mother, my aunts, my grandmother, and my great-great grandmother have all played the violin by strong suggestion (they were forced to lol). Now, I am one of the two people in my family who play violin currently, and the only one who does it by choice

My friends always wonder why I'm listening to it, but I don't care. I am 13 years old, and I have been playing the piano for about five years now. I love it, and I like to play classical music on there. I love to sing too. I'll sing songs that include piano, or I'll get the sheet music for it. So yeah. (:
