More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

"Well, North was attacked by it. It was in the form of his guinea pig and he had to put it down while I diverted its attention. Thing is when it was facing me it was smart enough to stay away from the shadows. I thought it would be harder to kill going up against it a second time. I guess it was lucky that North managed to avoid it. Do you know anything about it?"

Angel smiled at the man. He was a bare one. She though about it before he answered him. "You can call me Angel. Almost everyone around here does." In the end, she gave him the same answer she did to anyone she felt wa trying to get close. "Your welcome to come with me if you'd like. Nothing is stopping you." She tilted her head to the side and smiled, her brown hair falling over her shoulder and hanging freely in the air. No matter how often she tried to brush it, it always looked wind swept. "Come on."

Angel smiled at the man. He was a bare one. She though about it before he answered him. "You can call me Angel. Almost everyone around here does." In the end, she gave him the same answer she did to anyone she felt was trying to get close. "Your welcome to come with me if you'd like. Nothing is stopping you." She tilted her head to the side and smiled, her brown hair falling over her shoulder and hanging freely in the air. No matter how often she tried to brush it, it always looked wind swept. "Come on."

"Alright then." He said as he smiled back."I've noticed that I have been the one asking all of the questions so I guess it's your turn to ask me anything.If you are in the mood at all for talking"

Suddenly he flew upwards crashing into the ceiling."Note to self...do not apply more counter pressure to gravity then it needs." He slowly got up and stood on the ceiling"Although this IS interesting."he said with a bit of a laugh.

"Excuse us ladies."Gidget motions for Trinity to follow her over to a more secluded portion of the lounge. She then stands and waits for Trinity to follow and meet with her.

Trinity nodded at Gidget's signal then reassured the girls, "I'll be right back". She leaves her wine glass behind and follows Gidget.

Trinity never found out what happened to her brother after he tried to pick up her mother at the hospital. All she knew is that he was in bad shape. When she heard he was undergoing a medical procedure she got the impression that it was something serious like cancer or a coma. She dared not to ask about her brother's condition just when she mentioned she was going to see him to say 'hi' on her behalf.

She enters the secluded area shortly after Gidget.

Gidget sighs and leans in close to Trinity. "Trinity, I have been keeping something from you, and everyone else, for the last thirteen years.

Do you remember several years ago when there was a mass kidnapping string? Then the girls would be found later either brain dead or dead-dead? The person behind it was Shane. He was trying to make another body for me to inhabit. I stopped him, but I couldn't think of anything else to do with him besides lock him up in our maximum security wing."

Deora watched as Gidget brought the other woman to the lounge, then chatted a bit and left with Trinity. She took a sip of her Coke and looked back to Kerana and the other woman, who she now recognized as the blind woman from the diner. "So, I guess that's what the alarm was about, eh?" She said to Kerana.

"Hmm?" She turned to Deora and paused for a moment. "You were at the dinner this morning.. Weren't you?" Is asked softly, unsure. It was kind of hard to 'see' her, but she could still hear her heart rhythm, and it sounded pretty much the same.

Deora's eyes widened when the woman addressed her. The ice floating in her Coke clinked against the glass, though her hand hadn't moved. Her first instinct was to deny the claim, but she knew Trinity or Gidget would probably tell the truth, anyway. "I, uh, yeah. Yeah, I was."

Confusion and shock set upon her face as Gidget reveals the thirteen year old secret. "What?!" her yes glowed for an instant. She rubs the bridge of her nose to calm down for a second, it doesn't help to get mad right now she thought to herself. With herself composed she continues to ask in a softer tone "Ok... so... I take it Shane is not in a coma? What happened to him? I know I never asked before but I didn't want to pry or upset you. Wait...why are you bringing this up now?... Are you saying there may be a connection with this blob thing and your brother?"

Gidget nods solemnly. "When Shane was injured by that metal guy, the old higher ups of Valhalla decided to use him as a test subject. To see if they could induce powers in someone by using purified meteor radiation. If it hadn't been for that, he would have been paralyzed.

The problem was this, they didn't do it for Shane's benefit. They wanted to make super soldiers. Mass produced meta-humans. There was an additional problem. The purified radians decayed his mind. When my body died, he lost his sanity."

The power he gained...it's a terrible one. From what you described, and from the picture I saw...that thing showed a lot of the same traits as Shane."

Justine paused for a moment. She wondered why the girl seemed nervous. But she couldn't tell for sure. She tilted her head to the side and paused. She could hear parts of Gigdet's conversion with Trinity, but she tried not to pay attention. Tuning them out, she turned to the girls at her table. "I don't think I've meet you before." She smiled. "I'm Justine." She held her hand out to her.

"Hehe sorry.Still learning." He said as he walked towards the door and looked outside of it. As he looked down he saw the sky in his new perspective." It's kinda strange...seeing the sky when you look down"

Shifting his gaze back to Angel"Well then....how are you feeling? How are you really feeling?" he asked.

Angel paused. Shock clearly shown in her face. No one ever asked her how she was. Most people were willing to be selfish if you gave them the chance and told them it was okay. But he seemed interested in her, and she couldn't deter him. "I'm..." She paused and frowned for a minute. She had no idea how to answer that. How was she?

The light in her eyes dimmed somewhat, and her sad smile returned. "I'm fine.... Really." She tried to laugh softly.
