More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Alexavier upped his control and decided it would be funny to see them eat each other. Or fry their own brains due to the conflict that seemed to have appeared. When they reached the blockade Alexavier wanted her to rip it down but it seemed that Cassandra had different idea's. She simply created a new passage for them to move through. Why not create something new like this when you can? It certainly was easier to just walk through a wall instead of having to rip down something else. Though the aspects 'easier' didn't really apply to Cassandra since both things took about as much effort. Still it felt easier to her.

The beasts did in fact start to attack and eat each other. Except in stead of devouring the others, the victorious ones began to grow larger and more vicious. This continued to happen behind Alexavier and Cassandra.

Shane watched them go around the net. He made note that they are going to do what they can to avoid any errant biomass. He considered how he could use this.

Taking full advantage of the excess biomass he collected in an hour, Shane ordered the net to move again. The net came to life once again and began to chase after the duo. This thing was without a mind, it was merely a collection of biomass and teeth. It's multitude of tentacles made it horribly fast. With each step the thing inserted it's "feet" into the ground.

Shane knew he didn't have much more time before the duo made it to him. He started shedding more bio spores into the water around him.

Trinity made a disgusted face watching Gidget's body playing with the snot on the tissue. "Wait that's not...." her attention was drawn by Christian, that definitely explain things. She looked back at the body and smiled, she was happy, that's all that mattered right now but certainly she would have to be cleaned up before Gidget got here. She decided to get some hand wipes.

As she got up she heard Christian's other questioin and responded to him, "You have a point Christian, I'll give her a call and let her know we're here." she didn't dumb down her tone or anything when talking to Christian. She figured he'd think it insulting, instead she spoke to him like she would anyone. She hooked in her ear phones to her smartphone and called Gidget, while looking for hand wipes for her body.

Gidget was snapped out of her thought loop by the sound of her HUD displaying an incoming call. It was Trinity. Gidget stared at nothing for a moment while she entertained the idea of not answering. It took nearly ten seconds for her to finally connect the call.

"Yes Trinity." She said flatly.

"Oh. Hi Liv!" she waved to her with enthusiasm. "It looks like there will be one more joining us. Sara will be joining us for the swim she's a-"

Just then Sara made a few dolphin-like jumps through the water. She sure knows how to make an entrance, a splashy one at that.

"That's Sara, right on cue.... we were trying to figure out if Larry would need assistance in how the closet mechanism work here. I guess it could be quite possible that they covered that in the tours today."

Larry wived by to Sara as she swam off. Heather couldn't help but feel bad about her overall attitude about her situation. At least she was able to walk still, and not have to be confined to a tank.

When Liv showed up Heather instantly locked up and waved at her. "Hi." She squeaked out.

Larry heard what everyone was saying about the dressing areas. He was slightly confused. He looked down at his sister and tapped her shoulder for guidance.

She turned to him and said, "Stand in front of a locker. Tell it what color you want. Then tell it what size you want. Then take off the clothes you have on now. Then put on the pants the locker gives you, okay?"

Larry's lips pulled into a smile as he information sank in. He raised his hand and gave her a thumbs up. "Okay."

Heather turned back around to the girls. "He'll join us as soon as he's ready. It may take him a bit but he'll get it. I hope they have a decent selection that can accommodate people with tails."

Gidget was snapped out of her thought loop by the sound of her HUD displaying an incoming call. It was Trinity. Gidget stared at nothing for a moment while she entertained the idea of not answering. It took nearly ten seconds for her to finally connect the call.

"Yes Trinity." She said flatly.

"Hi Gidget, I've got most of the group here.
Unfortunately I couldn't bring Shane and the other two metas we saw in the video earlier. It was a total mess... your body is here and Shane mentioned that you need to do something, what was it...oh, right... a direct neural interlink.
We are currently in your lab right now.

Do you remember where we keep the hand wipes?"
She asks as she continues looking.

Cassandra's patience grew thin with all of this. She leaped out of the bubble which earned her a frown from Alexavier. He used his Telekinesis to hold the creature in place and folded his tentacles to one point. Cassandra used that point to grab everything at once and just started smashing the thing against whatever she could find to make sure it died. Which was mostly the ground and wall. When she was done with the creature she tossed whatever was left of it aside and hopped back into the bubble. When they reached Shane, Cassandra jumped out again but didn't enter the water.

"So...here we are...."

"Oh I'm sure they do Heather. You'll be fine." Liv said with a smile. She knew exactly what kind of bikini she would take. Bright red for color and it wouldn't be her style if it covered too much. If you have it, flaunt it. Why not?

Christian frowned at Trinity's answer, though he was impressed that she treated him normally. Most people were unnerved by his intellect, even people who were really intelligent themselves. They usually made a point to comment on his intelligence. He decided that he liked Trinity a little more for how she treated him.

Christian glanced around the room and noticed a box of what looked like hand wipes high on a shelf in the corner. "They're up there- the hand wipes," he said pointing towards the box. Frowning he muttered, "She'll only want to do the direct neural link to the spine of her body if she wants to return to her body like Shane wants. Otherwise it isn't necessary. Anyhow, I suppose my mother won't be coming..." Considering the fact she did help aid Shane's escape, Christian couldn't imagine why his mother would get free reign of the facilities at Valhalla.

Trinity heard Christian and saw the wipes where he said, she then spoke to Gidget on the mic hanging from her earphones. "Uh... actually please forget I asked that... Christian, found them.... "She added a thumbs toward Christian in 'thanks' for letting her know where they are." How are you doing? Did Annie make it back okay?" Trinity asked as she made her way toward the hand wipes. Of course they were so high up for Trinity to reach. She wondered why it's so high up... I guess she uses those extending arms of hers more often than she should, no big deal though. There was more than one way to resolve the task at hand. She went with pulling the box into its shadow and having it appear in her hand pushing it out of her sleeve. She started walking back to Gidget's messy body.

Shane stood up and dusted himself off. "Indeed. We can finally go about this without any distractions. You'll find it wont be as easy to toss me about this time."

Shane visually ignored what he could feel going on with his biomass. There were only a few beasts left, and they were getting enormous. The tentacle mass began to slither toward them to rejoin the mass. The water below him was being changed as the spores bonded with the water particles. Though anyone without Shane's bio-organic view could not see this.

"There's something I have to ask though, before I kill you I mean. You started as one, but were separated. How far are you willing to go to become whole again?"

Shane hoped that this little bit of dialogue would be enough to distract them so that his bio-water could turn completely.

Gidget's eye twitched at the mention of Annie. "Annie is on the mend. I wish I could say things went better than they did. Is everyone else alright? Do I need to bring some healers back with me?"

"I believe everyone else is okay. Though someone here is completely messy..." she was half talking to both Gidgets. She tries to use a wipe on Gidget's body.

Christian tried to hear what Gidget said on the other line but could only make out a few words something about wishing something went better. Obviously, Annie was successfully irritating people again. Of course if she was in good enough shape to get under someone's skin wasn't that a good sign. "She's sure taking her sweet time," Christian muttered reaching out a hand to take the headphone from Trinity. "Let me talk to her. I'm betting Mom didn't mention she took that hit to try and protect her psychotic brother. And I want to see this 'machine' that Shane keeps talking about. After all, I'll be able to tell if she has emotions or not."

Trinity was going to let Christian talk to Gidget about his mom while she focused on cleaning Gidget's body. Then he referred to as 'The Machine' her eyes narrowed she sighed and closed her eyes for a moment. "Gidget, hold on a moment ..." she put Gidget on hold took the ear buds out of her ears and placed them on her shoulder.

"Christian, please don't call her that, she's my best friend. Despite how her brother tends to address her she's as much his sister as the one sitting here.".she hopped she could reach out to him but she'll have to wait and see. "Her soul is in an artificial body... it's like to some extent let's just say it's like loosing a limb and having to use an artificial limb. You'd have learn how to live without the sensation of touch. The mind may play tricks because you may remember how items once felt in between your finger. How they supposed to feel. On top of that you'd have to learn how much or how little pressure and that is if your lucky. Now imagine if someone had to do with you're whole body. You would have no senses, no chemicals that fluctuate in a brain because there's no brain, just a soul who remembers how it was once like.

Did they tell you how Gidget ended up like this to begin with? Why are body and soul separated? How did they get separated? "

Deora was thoroughly amazed by the mer-metas. To be transformed so drastically, that they can't even survive in the atmosphere they were born into. On the other hand, she noted their grace in the water, and was a bit envious. She smiled and waved as she was introduced to Sara, and tried not to fry her own brain trying to figure out how the girl managed to send the very feeling of a smile.
She went ahead to the locker room as the others figured out how to deal with Larry, and quickly changed into her swimwear. The board shorts and swim tee she preferred, both with a light blue tribal design, weren't meant to show of her athletic form, but she didn't care. She didn't like to show much more skin that her arms, anyway.
