Ako had tried to fight when the time came, but that tickle in the back of his mind prevented him. It convinced him that he wouldn't be able to attack without hurting the others. It froze him until Trinity dropped them all into her shadow world. It was there he realized it was the mind controller's work. He thought he was stronger than that, especially after what he'd learned facing Charles Ray but he'd apparently slipped in the past year or so.

He could think of nothing relevant to do after they arrived in Gidget's lab, so he remained as he was, quiet in the background.

"Pretty damn far but not as far as you would hope." Alexavier replied." Absorbing us would do that but that's not really a good option for us now is it? Also what would have if you were to get 2 two people with the same stuff that changed you into this unstable form? Ever thought about that?"

Cassandra dug her foot into the ground and actually kicked a chunk of it towards Shane.

Christian raised a brow, it was an expression more similar to his mother's than his father's. "It doesn't matter. I really don't care who she is or not and how she lost her body. I think Dad mentioned in passing it was something that Mom blamed herself some for. Then again, Mom is the type of person to blame herself for everything. I'm curious about Gidget's true state, if Shane is as right as he likes to think he is."

"Anyhow, there is a bit more to emotions than just chemical fluctuations," Christian replied, "Not a lot more but some. I suppose my father would have known more, he was the one who could manipulate emotions, I can only sense them. Shane and Mom agree that the current Gidget or 'The Machine' as Shane calls it, hosts Gidget's soul, but they disagree about whether she can have emotions right now and experience things like 'first loves and kisses' and rubbish like that. I could clear the disagreement, who knows maybe I can provide some answers fro her too. I'm offering my help for free, because I'm curious, it is smart to take advantage of it. Unless she is afraid, of course."

Cassandra dug her foot into the ground and actually kicked a chunk of it towards Shane.

Shane swiped with his hand and cleanly cut the piece of floor in two. He noticed hand's transformation into a small blade had been much quicker than it had been since his incarceration. He had forgotten what it felt like to have so much biomass contained within himself.

"I have actually. I've been thinking about it ever since Cassandra fought off being consumed. She is nearly invincible. By consuming her I no longer have to worry about my body destroying itself. And as for you, Alex, when I have you I will be able to fully exhort my will on any separated biomass. To put it plainly, we will become the ultimate being. My intellect, her invulnerability, and your psychic abilities would be unstoppable."

Just a little bit longer.

The last thing the boy said got her thinking, What if Gidget is afraid to go through such a drastic change? Sure it's something she's been working on for the past 13 years but ... to have the answer right here right now... to go back to her body... does that mean she can't go back out? I may need to talk to her before she gets here. She turned to Christian and smiled, "I'm sure your insight would be most helpful."

She looked to Ako, the only other one in the room Gidget's body recognized. "Hey Ako! I'm going to check on Gidget and see what's keeping her..." She walked over to him and gave him the wipes. "Could you clean her up in the meantime? She recognized you in the hotel. Might, be best if a familiar face help her."

She pressed a few buttons letting the system know that the current profiles are currently acceptable in her absence and saved as a temp file. Then she turned toward the exit, "I'll be back with Gidget shortly."

As the door closed behind her she sinks into her shadow and emerges behind Gidget. With her arms folded she looked over her shoulder and asked, "Is everything alright?"

"Perhaps, your body won't last though. You're still the host" Alexavier said. Right after that he yanked Shane towards Cassandra with his Telekinesis. Cassandra who in turn was ready to give Shane the pounding of multiple life times, readied her fist.

Gidget turned and faced Trinity. "I do not know. I have been trying to piece everything together. Shane said I need to do a neural link to return to my body. That would mean that what is in this body is not a soul, but a collection of neuro electric impulses. That what happened to me was nothing more than an emergency data dump. What does she, me, my body think of all of this?"

"Perhaps, your body won't last though. You're still the host" Alexavier said. Right after that he yanked Shane towards Cassandra with his Telekinesis. Cassandra who in turn was ready to give Shane the pounding of multiple life times, readied her fist.

Shane's eyes went wide with surprise. Not at the fact that he was yanked, he had been expecting that. It was how powerful the pull was. He knew he only had a second to come up with something, or take the full brunt of Cassandra's blow.

Acting on impule he put both of his hands forward and created a spiked shield in frint of himself. He hoped she would take the bate and try to punch it. The spikes were packed with bio spores.

Despite the wide variety of bikinis that would surely compliment her figure, Heather thought it would be best to select a black one-piece that had a large hole in the posterior for someone with larger tails. The back was opened so as to allow her flexable spines room to stretch.

She definitely hid much under her baggy clothes. Despite her being so reptilian, the scales on her body were taught and still adhered to the figure she had when she was human. Most certainly she had the sort of body that would turn heads at the beach or pool.

Heather adjusted her suit once more to make sure she would remain modest. She then stepped out from behind her dressing curtain to see what everyone thought of her selection. She was particularly interested in Liv's opinion.

"To tell the truth, that's a little hard to decifer because she seems to speak in gibberish... Your body currently has the mind of a babe. Just now I taught the girl how to blow her nose into a tissue. She seemed rather fascinated with the stuff coming out of her nose. That was why I was asking about the hand wipes. She's with Ako now, since she did seem to recognize him and I...

The morality of this whole venture seems very complex... Yet the bottom line is she may have your power as well. Someone who doesn't know how to control it can be a danger to all..

On the other hand I really want to know how Shane brought your body back. At what cost?"

Gidget made a strange face at the notion of playing with snot. She thought for a moment more as to what that meant. Then it dawned on her what else could come from a direct neural link.

"I can obtain her memories" she thought aloud.

Trinity raised her eyebrow in curiousity. "What makes you say that?" She rested her chin on her her hand and her elbow on the other and awaited her answer.

"If that is the body that Leviathan killed then it will have the neural access port at the base of the skull. That port could also be used to transfer what exists in this body to her's. Or should I call it mine? Can I rightfully say that?. That girl has her own memories. Or does she? You said she recognised Ako?"

Alexavier laughed. Now that was using this power he could do anything with it! Combing his power with Cassandra's would make them an almost invisible team. He used his power to turn Shane so his back was exposed to Cassandra. At that moment, Cassandra struck.
