"Oh yeah! Strength in arms! Superior firepower and superior intelligence!" Serako was obviously getting excited.

Alena dissapered, reappering in her dorm. She quickly grabbed her sword, and slung it around her back.

She ran back to Serako. "OK, where is he?"

Alex smiled, and joined Nellie in her room. She quickly re-formed the necklace, around Nellie's neck.

"Follow me!" After a few minutes of running, you find yourself in a forest near the school. "I know I sensed him, somewhere nearby." It's clear something evil lurks nearby.

Alena placed her hand on the sword handle. She closed her eyes, concentraiting on her ears. She would hear him the second he striked.

From the shadows echoed a familiar voice, "Oh, company! What a pleasant surprise! I hope you don't mind thee mess, my base of operations doesn't allow me much opportunity to clean..." a cackle echoes seems to echo from every tree, every rock, every inch of dirt.

"He's here. Be ready." Alena said. "I just hope I can take him on without Crystal or my Light."

The "Dark Serako" came from behind the trees, his form still enveloped in darkness. "Oh Alena, reconsidered my offer yet? The fact that you brought this weak copy of me isn't a good sign but I'm still hoping for the best!"

Alena laughed. "You're the one who should be making offers for your own life! This ends here!"

Alena drew her blade. It glimmered in the moonlight.

"All right, I'm taking you out!" Serako ran forward, the figure not moving an inch. As he was only inches away and about to break the figure's face in, a call was made from the 'Dark Serako': "Duel of Honor." This call stopped Serako in his tracks and prevented him from action.

"What in the.....what's going on?" Alena asked.

The Dark Serako laughed, "There's a difference between this pathetic excuse of a fighter and me. He fights for honor, I fight to win. I've called for a duel of honor between you and I, and this wimp's honor code prevents him from interfering. Normally I'd kill you both quickly, but I require some entertainment." He reached in his pocket and pulled out his needle, without any string. "At your ready."

Alena smiled. "Bring it."

She stood at the ready, ready to dodge whatever his first blow would be.

The figure appeared right in front of her and sliced down her arm with the needle. The needle then zipped across her stomach to her shoulder.

THIS is what Alena was prepared for. She dissapered, reappering behind the figure, avoiding any damage. She stuck with her sword, aimed for his neck.

The figure quickly turned and blocked the strike with his needle. "Wow Alena, for 'faster than the eye can track, you need to work on your speed'" the figure cackled, as the needle continued to hold back her sword.

Alena smirked. "You left an opening!"

Alena quickly took her left hand back. It's claws extended, and she thrust it forward, jabbing him through the stomach.

The figure barely got his hand in the way and stopped her jab. "Maybe I need to use smaller words: You're too slow! Try striking forward instead of bringing it back!" he cackled before tossing her arm out of the way and cross kicking her across the head.

"Guh!" Alena groaned, stumbling backwords.

"Oh, I'm too slow am I? I'll show you what true speed really is!"

And with that, Alena dissapered.

She reappered, far above him, spinning, with great velocity. What she lacked in strength, she made up for in momentum. She quickly fell, slashing him across the sholder. It cut straight through his bone.

He grabbed his disembodied arm and began weaving his webs through the air. Soon, his arm was reconnected and working and he seemed as confident (and insane) as ever. "Ha, ready for round 2!"

She stood up, supporting herself on her sword, and showing signs of injury. "Dangit...." she thought. "Cheap. You really don't fight with honer."

She picked up her blade, holding it in a proper stance, and ignoreing the pain in her back. I have to get that needle away from him. Otherwise he'll just keep repairing any cuts I make.....

Because no matter what he's made of, he's inferior to me in every way."

Serako's anger built to breaking point and he called out, "Exchange!" He ran out into the conflict in front of Alena. The figure's smile just grew.

As she fell, he slashed her across the back deeply with the needle and nailed her with a thrust kick to the back of her skull. The figure cackled as he pulled out his skin, "A quick pitstop..." He grabbed his disembodied arm and began weaving his webs through the air. Soon, his arm was reconnected and working and he seemed as confident (and insane) as ever. "Ha, ready for round 2!"

Alena fell to the ground, tumbling to a halt.

The figure cackles hideously, "Did I ever claim to fight with honor? I don't fight for some outdated system of dying...I fight to survive, and I fight to win...This is why this fool over here..." pointing to Serako, "is the copy! Because no matter what he's made of, he's inferior to me in every way."

Serako's anger built to breaking point and he called out, "Exchange!" He ran out into the conflict in front of Alena. The figure's smile just grew.

"Serako! What are you doing?" I can handle this!" Alena yelled. She had handled worse. She had been through worse pain. One cut wasn't about to bring her down.

"I'm sick of this guy running his mouth... Plus, he can only use the needle because it's a bladed weapon... So I have better odds."

Alena, though somewhat unwillingly, sat down.

She smirked. "You better win this. I don't plan on carrying your corpse back to Blood Moon."

She reappered, far above him, spinning, with great velocity. What she lacked in strength, she made up for in momentum. She quickly fell, slashing him across the sholder. It cut straight through his bone.

Alena sighed. "This is your fight. I get it. He's your copy. You take care of him."

Alena, though somewhat unwillingly, sat down.

She smirked. "You better win this. I don't plan on carrying your corpse back to Blood Moon."

The two faced each other, almost mirroring each other's movements exactly. "Oh please, this just isn't fair. At least the girl was a good swordsman...Alena, if you want a chance at beating me, exchange yourself back in...all this going to do is give me a breather!" Serako ran forward and nailed him across the face with an uppercut. "Shut up and focus on the guy that's gonna take you down!"

Alena smirked. "Unlike Serako, I'm going to wait till he acctually needs it before exchangeing myself. Its more "honerable" that way."

Serako smiled over his adversary, who was favoring his chin. "Whoa, down with one punch? What happened to all your big talk?" The Dark Serako grinned from ear to ear. "I'm going to enjoy breaking you..." The figure zoomed forward and nailed Serako with several quick shots to the gut and finishes with a downward kick to his skull sending Serako down into the ground.

"Serako? You ok?"

Serako stood shakily but shook his head, "Don't worry about me, I've taken tougher guys than this..." Serako leapt forward and barraged his dark doppledanger with an assortmant of left and right hooks. Those that missed, his opponent mocked. Those that hit seemed to have little to no effect. At the last hook, suddenly, the doppleganger grabbed his right arm and turned to Alena. "Watch carefully, this is how you take advantage of an opening," he howled and his fist surged straight forward into Serako's midsection, sending him sprawling on the ground, holding his chest.
