As usual Leonard was having a smoke as his phone rang. He had seen the earlier news of his project. In a way it was Shane's own fault that they came after him. After all his actions freed them. He just hoped that they were strong but more importantly, smart enough to fight him. Brute force doesn't work against Shane. It might during the first time but second time would be different.

Answering the call he turned on the cam on his phone.

"Greetings Agatha." He said stoic. The sight of Agatha in her normal body didn't surprise him. He knew the moment that Shane took it that she would find her way back to it somehow.

Theonis, surprised by his fathers voice jumped back out of sight from the camera. Why the hell would she call his father right in front of him when she knew the situation?! Damn you Gidget!
PostPosted: Mon Apr 23, 2012 9:44 am
"Yeah hi. I'll be pissed off at you later for knowing about me being alive and all that, but right now we have a real problem. Your little assurance policy against Shane? The chimera you talked about? They were just consumed by him. Right now psychic resonance and meta radiation levels are reading off the nearly incalculable numbers at the hotel they were fighting at. What's worse is that they are growing, and that big mess of s**t is on it's way here. At it's current rate of travel we have a little under two hours before it reaches Knoxburg."

"No conventional weapons are going to stop that thing. What's the status on the sample I gave you earlier? Have you been able to weaponize it?"

She glanced over her shoulder and caught a glimpse of Theonis' reaction. "Don't you look at me like that. He knew you were alive without my saying anything this morning. You're safe here, and he wont cause trouble."

Before Gidget connected through to her call Trinity responded to Daisy,
"Call me old fashioned too. We may have just what you need to report the truth." she said thinking about Annie and Christian. She figured Gidget may have something else as well, why else did she specifically want a news caster to stay alive if otherwise. "I'll pick you up before you get there. Later" she sighed, as she was glad that, that part was over. It's kinda funny how the mind tends to play tricks on you to think that something can go ten times worse than how it is.

She plugged her phone in in the console next to Gidget pinpointing the exact location, by tracing the phone call of Daisy Sun. Seeing it on the map, she paused and looked at Theonis and winked at him before saying, "I'll see you later, got to go pick up the news." she drops through her shadow.

At 6 minutes after the phone call, her voice emanated from the shadows in the van, "Hello, this is Trinity Smith, Head of Security of Valhalla. Please fasten your safety belts and enjoy the ride." She buckled their belts using the shadow of the safety belts to strap them in and buckle down. Once that was down the van sank into darkness as it drove. When the van was in the shadow realm another car drove over where the van used to be. The driver took a moment to wonder what happened to the news van that was ahead of him but simply shrugged it off and was glad it wasn't him.

The van arrived in Valhalla's garage but without the battery and the cameras or video equipment. She knew she had to bring the camera crew but it didn't mean they had to have their electronic equipment or cell phones with them, at least not just yet. Daisy was not in the van with her crew, Trinity spoke again, "There's some business we need to discuss with Daisy. Please help yourself to some food in our cafeteria and we will meet with you and update you on what will happen next." There were signs in the garage pointing out what direction was the Valhalla Cafeteria.

She took Daisy toward Gidget's lab. "You asked me so many questions long ago about this power. I couldn't answer because it was the day I found out I had this ability. When I was hit by the meteor, for the longest time I thought all the changes were just my physical traits." Trinity felt she owed her an explanation of some sort on practically falling into the middle of her meeting with Leviathan. They step through the shadow at the entrance to Gidget's lab in case if there was some highly sensitive information that Gidget wasn't ready for her to see yet, for that same reason Daisy's phone and mic bugs were all in the Shadow Realm. "Wait here, I shall bring Gidget out here and we'll talk shop." She placed her hand on the door and walked through the shadow in front of her.

Coming out of the the shadow of some boxes near the entrance, while she was talking to... Theonis' father? Regardless she updated her on the situation, "Gidget, miss Daisy Sun is here just out side the door."

She crossed over toward Theonis, "Do you want to join me for a private lunch?" she offered softly.

Leonard eyes widened. Did she just say what he though she did? "That....I was hoping that wouldn't happen. Hoping that they were smart enough to finish him off the first time." Leonard readjusted his glasses." We have, in fact, done just that. We turned it into a liquid. Inject him with it and it should at least severely disrupt him. Normally it would pacify him completely but now that he has absorbed XT73 it might not." He was about to continue as Agatha spoke to what appeared to be his son.

"Doesn't mean you can just-!" He cut himself off before finishing. It wouldn't be the first time he said something that would be blown out of proportion. His frustration wouldn't subside so easily though. What made it worse is that his dad heard him.

"T..Theo? Is that..really you?" The man's face changed. His normal stoic features became those of relief. It was as if he could breathe again, like something lifted from his chest. He didn't even think about Meta's at this point. All he could see was his son...the son that everybody thought had died. The one that they already buried. He knew he was alive when he puzzled it together thanks to Agatha but to actually see him again." I knew it! I knew you were-"

"Shut up!" Theonis shouted, interrupting him."I know what you do and what you did!" He walked in sight of the camera." I AM a meta! The one who took down the dorm because YOUR Daedelus came after me! If it weren't for them everything would have been fine! To Daedelus I am a threat if they knew about me. They would study me and then kill me!" All of his frustration and anger about the entire situation came bubbling up.

Leonard was shocked."I would never let them do that! You know that Theo. You're my son!"

"That just makes you a hypocrite! Locking up and killing Meta's is alright by you but when it comes down to your own son all of the sudden it's out of the question?! Every single Meta that you took apart was someone's son or daughter! You ever think of that?! Did you?!" He shouted at his father. He didn't care that he wasn't alone right now or how it would look. Especially how Gidget thought about it. If she hadn't called him then this would not have even happened in the first place!

"Theo, you don't understand! I-" Leonard gave a start to defend himself but Theonis wouldn't let him.

"No! I am done with you!" He said in his anger and stormed off. He didn't even hear Trinity before he started shouting at his father. He was moving fast and steady. As he kept on going slowly the tears started to form.

Leonard was left speechless. It took him a little while to regain himself. After a deep breath he looked at Agatha." He has that from his mother...."

Trinity hoped to have Theonis avoid the confrontation as a whole by taking him to a nice quiet lunch. Instead the room was filled with the voices of him and his father arguing. She wanted to go after him, she needed to talk to him but stopped and thought about it. Coming to the conclusion that he needed to let loose some steam. She will have to let him know about living arrangements later... at least hopefully before the day is out and he's expecting her to stay with him in his abode. She let out a sigh as he left the room, her eyes lowered a little. In her own little world, whether or not her actions were being observed, she didn't care. She backed away and leaned against the wall and waited until Gidget addressed what she needed to do with Daisy.

Heather couldn't help but chuckle a little bit, although there was a hint of melancholy to it. "Oh yea. You can't tell now but he's actually my kid brother. He was six when he picked up the meteor fragment and brought it over to me so I could see it. He's twelve now. He was small for a boy his age, and he was sick a lot of the time. When the changes first started happening to him, he just got a little bit bigger and became the picture of health over night. It took over a week for the changes to complete. Then he was six feet tall and couldn't remember how to count."

Thankfully her mind was taken off of the current topic by the "traffic lights." She tilted her head in curiosity, almost like the dinosaurs in the Jurassic Park film. "What are those for?" She asked, pointing to the indicators.

"These indicate how many people are at each pool. At first it put up there as a safety precaution in case of an emergency. People tend to use it based on what they prefer. Some people prefer to have a loud and popular pool." she points to the yellows and reds. "The red means it's full no more people in the water, and the yellow means it's getting there." "Others prefer a more quiet situation like this. So this is marked with a green light. "

She face her friends as she asked, "So do you guys want to go to a pool with more people or just stick with the one right here? I'm impartial either way and Sara could join us in any pool since the mer-metas have access to all pools."

Theonis needed to hit something. Let it all out. Fighting back the tears he entered a training hall. Normally he would have said something to anyone that he would go at it but not this time. This time he just walked up to a punching bag and just started hitting it. Whatever form he had against Trinity was gone due to his emotions. His power build up in his fists as he continued to punch the bag. Each strike heavier than the last causing the bag to swing backwards further each time. Until he increased his power too much and destroyed it. Theonis just stood there panting.

Gidget also tried to get Theonis to come back, but she could tell that he wasn't going to have it. She looked, regrettably, back at the doctor.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean for that to happen. But we have more important matters to attend to. If we don't stop the biomass, none of us will have time to catch up to anything. We need to meet so I can make sure that liquid gets put to good use. Send me a time and place, I have other preparations to make and very little time to do it in."

Gidget disconnected the call once she got what she thought was positive confirmation from Dr. Acula. She then looked to Ako.

"I hate to put you out like this, but could you please take Christian to the medical facility to see his mother? I have to calm what is most likely a very angry reporter down."

Gidget placed her hand on the access panel and willed the doors to open. She sighed in an exasperated manner and waved Daisy in. "I'm sorry, I had intended to speak to you later. I just wanted you safe, not necessarily brought here. You can listen while I work right? I have a lot of truth to dispense, and you're the only person I trust with it."

“I'm sure you do,” Daisy muttered hanging up the phone before sitting back in the seat until Trinity appeared and moved her and her crew to Valhalla. A few minutes before they disappeared she said, “Hey, guys… remember what I said once about asking you guys to help me blow everything that has been going on out of the water when the time comes…”

“We’re opening that can of worms?” Asked one of the three camera men in the van.

“Yeah, probably several cans,” Daisy added. They shrugged agreeing to help out saying something along the lines of ‘might as well… what the Hell’.

The camera crew was slightly disturbed by the shadow travel, but they weren’t as surprised as you might think. They had been working with Daisy for a while. And they had been around long enough to know weird things happened: they just went with the flow usually. And of course, Daisy had sort of warned them in her own way. When Trinity told them she had business with Daisy they just exchanged looks. Briefly they considered going to the cafeteria but changed their minds when they realized they still at least had a cooler with sandwiches in it. They may have been prepared for weird to some degree- but not enough they were willing to explore waiting for Daisy to come back.

Meanwhile, Daisy nodded at Trinity’s explanation and agreed to wait as requested. Under her breath she said as Trinity disappeared, “A lot of us didn’t know what we were getting into at the time…” It was true: the whole thing with Leviathan was bad enough, but now with Daedalus and what not things were really bad. If she had been smart she would have ran from the mess a long time ago, but she wasn’t: she cared about the truth too much and with her headaches running away really hadn’t been an acceptable option for her.

Christian's raised a brow at Theonis's outburst. Though, Christian agreed Theonis was right in his opinion, he didn't understand how getting so upset would make a difference. Christian frowned, he hadn't known being around so many people with such a range of emotions could be so tiring. He had assumed he had been mostly forgotten, which was fine with him, until Gidget asked Ako to go see his mother. When the door opened he saw a pretty blonde woman who he assumed was the reporter, she wasn't angry. "She's not angry," Christian said speaking up quietly. Then he turned his attention to Ako, "I suppose I should go see Mom, now. Though, I don't know how happy she will be to see me or anyone else for that matter. Hopefully I don't have to counter her power... if I do well..." He shrugged as he got off the counter, landing on the ground and leading the way out of Gidget's lab.

When the door opened she smiled slightly at Gidget and glanced at the boy, he reminded her of someone, and it was a bit disarming to hear such adult sounding concepts and words coming from such a young child. He was right, though, she wasn't angry or even that much annoyed by the situation. She raised a brow at the kid as he walked past her, wondering what exactly he could do. She had at first thought he could sense emotions, but then he was talking about countering his mother's power. She shook her head, it probably wasn't important: especially in the long run and in the big picture.

"I'm a reporter," Daisy answered Gidget. "I don't have any desire to make news only report it. I'm a listener and observer and sometimes commentator: I'm not an actor. I'll be more than happy to just sit back and listen. Dispensing the truth would make me more than happy, though I am some what surprised you contacted me and trust me with it."

"My objectives are probably a bit different than yours. I just want truth for truths sake, I'm not a major actor in this all," Daisy continued. "And I don't want to be. Of course, I do ask that my camera crew be treated all right. I trust them and they have almost as good of an idea about things as I do, but they aren't as good with weird and bad news as I am. They'll need to be eased in the situation a bit more gently than I do."

PostPosted: Mon Apr 23, 2012 7:23 pm
Ako gave Gidget his best attempt at a warm smile, saying; "I don't mind, I need to walk a bit, anyway. I'll talk with you later." He had hoped to stay with her a bit longer to make sure she was okay, but now that she was busy again, that didn't seem possible. Now that the action was starting to build, he felt he should do what he always did; get away from it. Action had always been bad in the past, and this situation seemed worse. If they needed him, they could call him.

He was about to call the kid over to they could leave, but the child was already on his way out the door. Ako didn't try to hurry to catch up, he let his longer stride do the work instead. As he caught up, he slowed to the boy's pace, walking silently beside him, hands in the pockets of his dusty and faded jacket.

Christian paused as Ako caught up and he glanced up at him. Smiling slightly he said, "I'm sorry, but you'll have to lead the way... I actually don't know my way around here. And, even if I did, I do tend to have bad directional sense." He glanced at the ground feeling slightly uncomfortable, he hated not being good at everything or knowing something, but that was life. You could only know so much.
PostPosted: Mon Apr 23, 2012 8:18 pm
Ako shrugged and pulled out the smart phone he'd been given upon arrival at Valhalla. He opened the GPS function, but it took him a minute to figure out how to use it properly. He couldn't help but smirk a bit as he managed to bring up the interior map; he didn't think he'd be able to find it. He may have been good with electricity, but finer electronics still befuddled him sometimes.

He handed the phone down to Christian, letting him lead the way. "Being lost or not knowing something is nothing to be down about. It's just one more thing you can learn."

Now that Gidget was with the reporter, Trinity felt her job was done for now. She honestly was a little worried about Theonis, to have such an argument with his father, was rough. Though where would he be? With a thumb pointing toward the exit she let Gidget know she needed to head out and check something. It was how she was able to let her know as she's done so in the past, especially when the meeting doesn't concern her so much.

As she walked out she paused to think, If I were him... I'd want to beat something up and blow some steam. The Training Facility... Though she could have simply drop through a shadow and emerged from his she decided to take a more casual approach. She felt the usual route would startle him in the middle of exercising. After entering the Training Facility she closed her eyes to sense his shadow but, didn't need to. She could hear him, she could smell him, she found him. "Feeling better?" she asked as she noticed the destroyed punching bag laying on the ground.

Theonis wasn't surprised when he heard Trinity. He was glad that she came. He needed her right now but he wasn't calm enough. Jumping to the next bag he hit it like before only limiting his power so he wouldn't destroy it. The bag still swung back almost all the way. Hitting it twice before stopping he looking over to Trinity.

"No....not really." His shoulders slumped. Hair covered his face as he looked down."I....just don't know what to do Trin.." He trembled as he spoke, his voice almost a whisper.

He's confused emotionally... He really hoped he wouldn't have to confront his father at all, especially since he became the very thing his father tend to experiment on. Still, I could see that his father is concerned and cares for his son... Bottom line is he his father no matter who's side he's on.

"Well, from what I can tell your father cares for you. He seemed relieved to see you alive. Yet what he does for a living... I don't agree with it either." she reaches out for his shoulder cautiously.

"Considering, all the disasters, deaths and distraction they've caused, why do you think I have any sympathy for them? Even though I know they are responsible for the death of my parents."
