Courtyard (North)

Karin stared at him uncertainly, not really sure what he was talking about. But as he asked about the X again, she nodded slowly and reached into her pocket. She touched it gently, just tapping it first to make sure it wasn't too hot to touch, and then pulled it out carefully, holding it flat on the palm of her hand as she showed him. "It's hot," she said quietly as she frowned at it and then looked at him. She wondered suddenly if it had any connection to whatever Kage had just been hitting her with, which had also felt hot. She slowly pulled her hand that wasn't holding the X away from her side and slipped it back into her pocket. Then she looked back at Suka, not sure what they were doing now.

He looked at it curiously...it had taken on the original white color again as it heated up, and now being out of her pocket began to light up. He grabbed it out of her palm and dropped it back in her hand not having realized how hot it was. The white mist above lit up bright again and he grabbed the cross again, holding it tightly so that the pressure on his skin would make it feel less hot. The white mist above began to fly around visibly now, as if searching for the light of the X again and he watched it , opening his palm for a second and then closing it again. The white mist condensed and became one large ball of light...it shot at the cross fast and before Suka could open his hand to see what the light wa going to do he had to close it again tightly and grab his arm as the light bagan to make it's way inside of his arm. "Damn, it was too quick..." he kept himself from dropping the cross only because he'd given it to Karin and did not want it to break but the pain that he felt as the light disappeared inside of his arm was making that very hard. The pain did not move any father down than his shoulder, though it stratched across his back on each of the shoulder blades and went down his other arm. He felt it in hsis nexck to, and just as the pain was moving up his face it began to stop and when finally the pain did quit Suka leaned against the wall of the closest cage seemingly exhausted. The pain returned again though fro a split second as light travelled out of his palm nad hit the ground...one of his blades lit up a bright white and a cross shaped hole appeared directly in the middle of it. After that last burst of pain the light was gone and there was no more mist. He slid down the invisible wall and dropped the X safely at six inches from the ground. He closed his eyes and started breathing heavily..."I didn't want any of that Holy s**t...damn it"

Karin watched as it took it, wincing slightly as he dropped it again right after. She glanced up uncertainly as the mist above them seemed to glow brightly once more, and felt her eyes widen in alarm as it began actually moving, until it'd taken the form of a ball. She leaned back slightly as it suddenly shot itself at Suka's hand, her eyes widening even further as she watched it with no idea what was going on. She bit her lip as she simply stared, her hands reaching toawrds him but paused in mid air. She felt extremely helpless in this place. They'd just barely arrived and it already felt like so much had happened, and she hadn't been able to do anything. She leaned towards him again as he slid down, dropping to her knees at his side and hoping that Kage wouldn't choose now to return or something. "Are you ok?" she asked anxiously, and somewhat frantically, her ears still flattened back. "What just happened?"

"I don't know exactly...all I know is that that white mist.....was some form of Holy power...probably whatever was left from what I stole that didn't get absorbed by the other Nightmares." he said, pretty sure he was right but not completely positive. It was difinitely something of the sort...The light being concentrated in that one area made the energy of it feel a lot more powerful than it would have. He opened his eyes slowly..."I'll be alright...it's all part of stealing from the heavens I suppose..." he stood up slolwy, still leaning against the wall but feeling that he could stand better now. He breathed heavily for a few more moments, but that slowly returned to normal aswell. "Let's get going then...we've got more to cover before we can leave..." He pushed off of the wall, still being off balance and wavering a bit. But he made his way to his blades and pciked them both up with one movement of his body before waiting for his balance to return. When he felt he could stand up straight he started walking again slowly, stopping and looking over his shoulder as he waited for her to follow.

Karin watched him anxiously as she listened to the explanation, and then slowly nodded her head. She still didn't fully understand why he'd stolen from the heavens in the first place, but she didn't question it. Instead, while he was regaining his breath, she glanced over at the X which had been discarded upon the floor. Her eyes scanned the ceiling for a moment, seeing the mist seemed to have disappeared, and then she very slowly reached out, poking it once with her claw before picking it up carefully and slipping it once more into her pocket. She didn't really want to just leave it sitting there, even if she was somewhat scared of it now. But she stood back up as she saw Suka had looked back at her and hurried after him, pausing once she'd caught up. She still wasn't sure what exactly they were here to do either, but she was definitely feeling a bit paranoid because of what had just happened, as well as Kage's appearance a moment before. Still though, she continued along with him, not even looking back.

Shiori frowned, but was definitely relieved to be one his back once more, rather than in the air. She shook her head rapidly side to side as she kept her eyes shut a moment longer. "I'm not afraid of heights," she protested, trying to regain her composure. "As long as I have something firm under me, I'm fine. Like... a tree branch." A faint blush had spread across her pale face as she wrapped her arms around him from behind once more, hoping he wouldn't be able to pull her off and throw her around any more. "I'm not a toy, you know," she pointed out suddenly, her ears flattened back slightly as she stared at the back of his head, tempted to start tugging on his ears again.

He smiled and then moved his ears so she couldn't get at them. He held her on his back as he felt her grip getting tight. 'So much for me throwing her high in the air...' He whispered softly to himself. He hoped that her ears couldn't pick what he had said up. He decided to nibble on her ears later but not now. "But I was right there catching you and you know that I wouldn't let you fall on my watch. Your just afraid of heights and thats it. You know that yourself so stop hideing it." He poked his tongue out at her. He continued to move his ears until they laid flat on his head. His tail moved from side to side as he moved it frealy

"I am not!" she protested again, a little louder this time. Her eyes scanned the area until they rested upon a large tree, which seemed to have some sort of hollow, orb like structure floating around the top. She stared at it for a moment, until she reminded herself what she had been about to say. She turned back to Arashi, poking his back lightly as she pulled one of her arms from around him. "We can climb a tree or something and I'll prove it," she continued, and then went on with a previous thought she'd left unfinished. "And I'm not a toy," she repeated. "So you can't just throw me around whenever you feel like it." She was thinking of before when he'd given her shoes, and made her sit down without giving her any say. She didn't sound angry or irritated as she spoke though, but instead said everything matter of factly.

"woah!"Zephel jumped back to notice it was just ieno and shino, he couldn't belive they finally came and seeing how they said hi they were pretty happy to see him to."Hey hows it going guys, can you please put the blutanes away, somebody's here don't scare them, kiri i'm sorry about that there names are ieno and shino."

ieno put his blutane away just as asked and sat down next to zephel."hi nice to meet yah kiri, i'm ieno."he put his hand out as a hello.
"i'm shino leasure to meet you."he also put his blutane as well and sat down next to his brother, to pass the time he tampered around with his guitar strings."So what you guys been up to anyway.

Suka walked down the path now, with the Holy powered blade in his left and and the other in his right. He walked the same wy as he had before, and the passed through the level 8 Nightmares and the level 9 Nightmares perfectly unharmed. He walked faster than he had been before and watched the cages a lot more closely aswell. None of the Nightmares seemed to bother them at all until they got up to Kage's cage on the level ten section. Kage glared at Suka but he only shot him a glance and looked back to make sure Karin was okay. The completely humanoid Nightmares looked down at them all with the same expression of curiousity. Until they set foot in the eleventh section. The second to last of the sections. Each of these Nightmares had evil looks in their eyes, and each looked more individual than the other Nightmares did. All of them had names...Suka didn't remember all of their names...but all of the Nightmares in this and the next section he did. He continued to walk farther into them and the loks these Nightmares gave were haunting. Some of them lashed out at the invisible wall when he walked by, most of them tried to get out...this was one of the most dangerous places in the realm. He looked down at Karin as they continued to walk. It was possible that they'd make it through without anything else happening. But it was probable that they would not make it all the way there. Nightmares liked to revolt. None of them liked to follow. "Stay close..."

Karin trailed after Suka, returning to her rather paranoid glancing around as her hands slipped back into her sweatshirt pockets. Her tail had reluctantly uncurled from her waist and resumed its idle flicking behind her as she walked. Again, she only cast a second's glance at each Nightmare they passed, as if afraid staring any longer would provoke it into attacking. This was... a very odd place, to say the least. As they reached Kage, she saw him shoot a glare towards Suka, but refused to even let herself flinch, and just smiled faintly as Suka looked back at her. As they entered the next section, her smile faded almost instantly as she glanced towards the nearest Nightmare, quickly looking away as she saw its eyes. Her ears twitched slightly as she heard Suka speak and she inched a bit closer to him, very close to entering the fearfully clinging stage, but restraining for now. She felt more like a burdon than anything, just something he had to look out for, and she couldn't help wondering why she'd been invited along when she only seemed to be getting in the way.

Peaking around the corner she walked in quietly. It was calm outside. But she was nervous all the same. A gust of wind blew from behind and made her scarf move and her chimes on her boots jingle. Looking about she held her doll close to her. Her little bat plushie. With her scyth in her other hand. "Maybe there is a piece here?" she wondered quietly. Wondering what to do, and what her classes would be.

Pausing for a sec, she realized that no one was here. Nodding to this she left the yard without talking. No one was here it seemed, and if they were, they were quiet. Nodding she left out looking back at the dragon/pheonix scuplture. "I wonder..." and she left without saying another word. The silence only broken with by the sounds of her chimes on her boots as the boots click on the stone pavement.

Raven ran her fingers through the water of the fountain. She crossed her legs and her kamas clinked happily in their black and red studded holster. "Hush." She told them quietly. She wanted to keep their powers a secret as long as she could and when they clank of their own accord they excrete a powerful aura. Raven didn't need people to know that she had the coveted Artemis and Apollo.

yara gave a confused face when she told him to hush, or was it with something else, he thought if she was the kind to talk to her self."Do you talk to yourself.oh and heres the dagger, if you wanted to take a closer look at it."He took the cosmic dagger out of his bootstrap and showed her the dark blade's image when he moved around you can see differnt starts and formadas in it."hey it's getting pretty late don't yah think.
