More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Such a kiss was to be expected but it still caught him off guard. But he wrapped his arms around her and returned the kiss. Until it was interrupted by Trinity's stomach. He raised an eye brow. Letting go of Trinity, squatted in front of her poking her stomach.

" This is our moment, not yours!" He said with a laugh. His eyes went up to meet Trinity's. " I suppose we should put some food in you then huh?"

"Yeah, afraid so..." she said with a smile, partly at the joke he made but mostly at the kiss he gave. They started heading out to the Food Court. She decided to check her phone, she couldn't help but be surprised that Gidget wasn't pinging her yet, she probably was still discussing things with the reporter. She checked the news headlines and saw something highlighted in red. She was curious but she didn't find out more, she wanted to focus on Theonis now and thought it was better to wait until she heard from Gidget to start preparing the troops.

They arrived at the Food Court, she ordered her usual chicken cesar salad but this time with a glass of wine.

Larry shuffled over to Sara and sadly said, "Sorry."

Heather shifted her gaze between the girls as she spoke. "I'm sorry. He hasn't been swimming since before the change. He didn't know that would happen. It wont happen again." She looked to Larry next. "Right Lawrence, it wont happen again?

Larry looked down at the water in shame and mumbled, "No.

Holding hands they arrived at the Food Court. And it seemed Trinity would go for her Salad once more. She sure likes her Salad. But despite the earlier work out Theonis was not hungry at all.

" Sorry Trin but I am not hungry at all, thought I'd be hungrier by now. As usual. But I suppose I will join for a drink."

Gidget smirked as she attached the device to her head and connected a wire to the port in her neck. "That's what I'm counting on news lady. If anyone from here were to come forward with the info it would be suspect. People believe what you have to say, no matter what it is. It will be the beginning of the end for Daedalus. No more hunting parties, dirty experiments, or people having to die because of fear."

A few lights on the headset blinked on. Gidget's brow came together in deep concentration. The suit of armor next to her began to move. First the right arm, and then the fingers moved next. A few weapons compartments slid open and then shut as quickly. She made a face and had the machine drop it's arm.

"There's still some lag, but it's almost there. You said that the headaches dissipate as you approach trouble? Maybe you are somehow dependent on the chemical that causes the fight or flight reflex? You may just have some sort of imbalance. Have you come into contact with a meteor fragment or anything like it?"

Daisy laughed with a wave of her hand, "Chemically unbalanced? That is what I keep arguing when I do run into Daedalus... Honestly though no, I don't believe I've come into direct contact, but I was there reporting at the first meteor shower. I was there when they brought out the girl Tansy's body, and I saw some of the original few get injured and the medics there. That's when the headaches started a pattern. It isn't important. If it is a chemical imbalance I've lived with it this long, if Daedalus is right and I'm a meta or part meta or whatever, I have one of the most annoying and lame powers ever. I'm not that concerned."

"That's quite alright. Though I'm surprised that you're not, we used up a lot of energy just now if you get my drift. Maybe you should see one of the meta doctors about this, to confirm that it is a power and not... something else, like a cold or something. Perhaps they may be able to figure something about the blonde or find that you may be continuously changing one way or another." she took a bite of salad.

" I'm surprised you only went for a Salad after all of that. " He responded with his usual tone. " Yeah I suppose I could but it would have to wait. More pressing matters at hand. But I think it's just a ongoing mutation."

"I think we can work this out. Perhaps Larry can do a canonball when no one is in the pool. I'm sure Sara could safely make her way back to the tank for a minute then he can do his canon ball. Right? Perhaps he could say something like 'Stay Clear' or something." she didn't want Larry to have to hold back, especially if there was a way to work around it.

Heather shook her head. "We appreciate the thought, but we've both come to terms with the fact that there are just some thing we wont be able to do anymore. He can't jump into a full swimming pool, and I can't go out into the snow without almost dying. It's just the way it is."

Larry slowly nodded his head. He looked at Sara and the girls again. "Sorry."

Gidget made a few more adjustments to the headset and tested the suits functions as she spoke. "I would certainly be worried. It could be part of a larger problem. Headaches aren't normal, and can even be detrimental to your overall well being. If you like I could have the medical staff run a full and probe free diagnostic on you."

Liv had managed to be far enough to avoid being hit by Larry's cannonball. But saw the damage it did to the others. Quickly she swam to the surface to check on them. The Mer-Meta was out cold but it seemed Heather's spikes had the same effect as smelling salts.

" Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that cannonball..." Liv muttered to herself.

Headaches aren't normal, and can even be detrimental to your overall well being. If you like I could have the medical staff run a full and probe free diagnostic on you."

Daisy shrugged, "I'm more concerned for my inability to leave this place because of my headaches more than anything. I had a job offer for New York City- a national news show- and even L.A., Chicago... and in the end I said no because my headaches only are manageable here. It's annoying, but I got over it, because even if I was worried it isn't like I could safely and sanely go to a doctor. I'm over caring about them anymore. If you want me to get them checked out here with your staff, I can, though."

Trinity looked at her salad again.Well this usually fills me up... I'll pick up something else if I still feel hungry afterwards.. She looked up as he mentioned more pressing matters. "I'm not sure but they may be able to find out what will be happening next if they detect other changes you may not be aware about yet. Then again you may prefer not to find out and see what comes. In some sense it's kind of exciting." swirled her wine and took a drink like a pro making sure it recieved oxygen on the way down for a better taste. It tend to look like a bit of a slurp. She ate a couple of more bites of her salad.

"I've been wondering... What did that mind controller do to us? I was finding it hard to control myself... I wanted you right then and there even if you were holding Christian."
