More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

" Why would it? I've got no problem with it. It'd be an a** if I would make a huge problem out of it wouldn't you say?" Theonis replied. " Besides how many guys can say that they have a girl who is 30 but looks 20?"

She was relieved that the age difference didn't matter to him. Trinity smiled at the compliment, part of it may have been her mutation but another part is that she did take care of herself, eating right and excercising every chance she had. Speaking of which she couldn't remember the last time she spoiled her diet, perhaps now would be a good time to do it. She excused herself and went to the desert bar and picked up a death by dark chocolate cake. She brought it back with two forks in hand. "Then, let's celebrate. To hell with birthdays and being so many years apart." she gave him a fork.

Salad followed by dark chocolate huh? Theonis accepted the fork.
" Agreed! And perhaps I too shall remain forever handsome and young. Never know what my mutation brings next!" With that Theonis took a slice of the cake. It has been a while since he had any cake at all. So he savored the moment.

Rikki Tikki Travi

Gidget walked over to a full body mirror that she had tucked in the corner of a lab. She removed the dust cover from it and started examining herself. She made some faces, and then struck a few poses. She had to hand it to Daedalus. With the exception of the crazy long hair they had done a good job of putting her back together and keeping her healthy.

"He's three. You're right on the money if you suspect that she didn't have him by choice. She was forced into pregnancy by the project leader in charge of her. They wanted to see what would happen to her, and what sort of offspring a metahuman could produce."

"You may find Christian to be a bit...unsettling at first. He may be three but he has the intelligence of a young adult. He's also incredibly morbid and frank. It's likely he's never been able to experience being a kid. That is something I plan to remedy once this is all done. There aren't any children his age around here, but there is one big guy who might as well be."

Daisy frowned slightly when Gidget said he was three, but smiled when she assured her how intelligent the kid was, even if he was morbid and frank it could sell. The idea of Annie being forced to have a child out of morbid curiosity nauseated her some- maybe despite Annie’s lack of likability for the general public she could still be used down the road. However, Daisy’s focus was the child: no matter how smart or morbid or frank or even unlikable he would win the audience over some just because of his age and she could always spin his faults as Daedalus’s fault for robbing him of his childhood- of course considering how intelligent the kid was supposed to be, he probably wouldn’t have had a normal childhood anyways, regardless of Daedalus or meta-human powers.

Daisy couldn’t help but suggest, though, “Even if he has never been able to experience a kid, maybe it would be cruel to force him to experience it if he doesn’t want to. He’d probably be resentful if you forced him with someone his own age or of child-like intellect. You were probably a smart kid: would you have wanted to be treated all the time like a little kid?”

She waived her hand briefly and said, "Never mind my speculations, however. Can you bring him to me, and I would like at least one of my camera men here to tape the interview. With some work and luck we can put together a good piece and get it out in time for the six o'clock news."

Trinity smiled as he made his comment, "I don't think that would be a problem." It would be nice if he could stay how he is but she'd love him all the same no matter how old he may look or whatever his mutation brings. He has been good to her since the beginning of their relationship. She took a piece of the slice they're sharing, it was really way too big for one person to finish. As she placed the piece in her mouth, the taste of how wonderful it is almost caught her off gaurd. She closed her eyes to savor it. It was written all over her face that she indeed enjoyed the taste, the richness of it, the texture.

Piece by piece the cake disapeared, "Well, looks like it's time for me to go back to work... I'll be looking for you afterwards.... "

Theonis just watched her eat it as she closed her eyes. Seems like she really missed that taste. She really was beautiful. Kind of sad that she had to leave, he put on his grin.

" You should.... you really should"

"You got her Larry! You can do it!" Liv cheered Larry from the sidelines. Invisibility was a useful power but she could do that too. No need to go stealing that power and risk taking the appearance too! There is no way in hell she would want to look like that! Liv's mind stopped. Did she really just think that? She need to distract herself. Might as well play with the kitty. Splashing some water at Kerana, she quickly swam towards Kerana.

Gidget led the way out of the laboratory and toward the medical wing. She could barely contain her joy and excitement. She could feel her feet hit the tile. The lights glared and made her pupils contract. She couldn't wait to make use of all the things she had missed out on. Then an abstract thought occurred to her. She would have to bathe and defecate at some point. Yay.

The door to the medical bay opens and Gidget steps through with determination creating a newborn fire in her eyes. She approaches the bed Annie is sitting on as she barks commands at the medical staff. "Bring her to a hundred percent. She needs to be at her best."

She then looked over at Ako and blushed. "Ah, I'm glad you are here too. I'll need you too if this plan is going to work."

She place a kiss on his lips then parted and while his eyes were closed she dropped through her shadow and found where Gidget's was. Instead of emerging from there she emerged from the shadow of the opened door she walked through just in time to hear she needed Ako as well.

"I take it this plan will need me as well?" she asked stepping out to the light. She folded her arms awaiting orders.

Daisy nodded quietly and replied before following Gidget, "I'm glad to hear that." She smiled slightly as Gidget claimed to have a bone to pick with a certain Southern Belle- apparently Annie was still managing to irritate everyone she came across.

Annie glance up somewhat miserably when Gidget entered the room, before narrowing her eyes dangerously. The medical staff uncomfortably approached her and began to work, which Annie tolerated, though her fists were clenched, "You want me at my best? Why? I told you what I wanted to do- I want to take down the biomass, it is a lot of my responsibility for what happened to Shane. You ignore me when I make that request: why should I help you with anything if you won't let me do what I want?"

Christian sighed a long exasperated sigh, almost like a parent trying to deal with a particularly contrary teenager. He didn't know what to do and it frustrated him. Why did Annie always find the hardest way to do something and seek that route?

Gidget turned her head and nodded at Trinity's assertion with a smile. That smile was quickly replaced by a look of extreme frustration. Oh how badly she wanted to slap the fire out of Annie right then.

Gidget's braid made a giant swing as her eyes locked onto Annie's gaze. "I can't exactly carry on a conversation in several places and work like I used to. I wasn't ignoring you, I was getting the gears turning. It is going to take our combined abilities to reach the nucleus of the biomass. So if you clam up for just a bit, I'll explain how we are going to end this nightmare."

Gidget turned her head back to Trinity and asked, "Could you ask Theonis to come here? We're going to need his power as well."

Trinity smiled and said, "Gladly." she stepped into the shadow of the door and emerged behind him practically a few seconds after she had to leave him to return to work. Yet it seems Theonis and work tend to collide a lot. She emerged from his shadow and wrapped her arms around his waist. Softly she whispered, "Theonis, it looks like we need you... to help put an end to the nightmare. You up for the task at hand?" she held a little tighter.

Even though they talked about it and she knew he can take care of himself she still didn't like the idea if putting a loved one in harms way. She let out a little worried sigh. She didn't want him to know that she was worried for him, all the more reason to come up behind him.

Just as he wondered what he was about to do next Trinity was already behind him, wrapping her arms around him." That was fast. "

When she said why he could have seen it coming.He knew there were plenty of people here who had more training than him but he and Trinity had most experience against him. Although they only actually fought one time.

" Sure thing, who else is going to keep you out of trouble?" He said as he held his hand against her cheek behind him.

"That's my man."she said as she kissed the hand on her cheek. Her arms loosened a little and they drop through their shadow. She did think about spending more time with him in the Shadow Realm but she'd be to worried to really enjoy it right now. They emerged from behind the door where Trinity had left about a minute ago.

The shadow traveling felt natural. Then again he had done this a couple of times now plus he seems to adept rather fast. Stepping out with Trinity, he looked at the people in the room.

" So what's the plan?" Theonis spoke up. He felt confident.
