I'm really okay. Josh is working with me. He got me away from my old church where all they do is ask about it and blah blah and thats why I stopped going.

This church is up the road, no one knows me. Except of course Josh, his girlfriend and a few other friends from school who attend.

Josh's dad is the pastor and group leader and such. Josh and Justin both play on stage during Worship... Josh said I could too or even sing if I wanted.

The church is really nice, they just opened a brand new building and they were more then happy to accept someone new... Who knows. I might find my heart somewhere deep within this iceburg.

Even if, like mine does now, it feels as if it's gone...I basically feel like there's a hole left there whenever I think about leaving.

I know there is nothing wrong with that.
I used to be a very devoted Christian.

I played music and sang in church during Worship.

Things happened, distance happened, and my heart iced over.

But you gotta know it in your heart. Playing the music and singing just doesn't cut it. I know that... Don't worry. Even the most icy of hearts will melt if you let his warmth touch you. I have known that for so long now. *By the way, I'm even more sure of the presence of God now, considering all that has happened in the past few days.*

@waffles: heart Have faith! We all go through it. God will fill you up in time.

@Kirbs: not believing in something doesn't make it not real. It's the same thing with saying 'statments of absolute truth are false'. Well, your statement, if true, is false. Therefore, taking that further, to say that all religions are true is false, and therefore they are either all false, or there is one, absolute truth out there. I personally believe that the Bible holds the answers. I also beleive that we must be punished for our sins, and hell is that punishment.

Anyway, I have faith and hope in the God who touches my heart. There is no religion for me, only life.

By the way, my mother finally met New Lucy today! yay!

Same here, Elf. My family never really took my to church when I was a kid... yet my mom still claimed us to be a religious family >.> She's like "well you don't need to attend church to say you believe in God" and I'm like "well mom, I know NOTHING about God."

So thus my friend Brittany has taught me stuff along the way. She even got me this book called God's Blogs. Basically, it sort of ponders what God would write about if he had a journal/blog. Kind of an interesting idea whether your religious or not.

In the end, I'm sort of religious. I'm not sure if I agree with Christianity 100%, but I know for certain that someone is up there. I've had some experiences in life that by no means could have happened on coincidence.
