Hi guys!
Um, I'm almost 17 and live in North Carolina.
I've been a fan for a bit over a year, I suppose.
My first episode was Satan Pit, which I recorded when I noticed it on SciFi because my dad was a fan when he was younger.
( At the time our bathroom door looked like the TARDIS xD )
Anyway, I was so confused so I asked a friend for help, and went back and watched all of Nine's episodes. And all of Ten's.
Since then, I've been watching classic Who more or less legally, and have ended up a huge nerd.
So, here I am.
<3

[...I'm a Five fan.]

Yay! Another East Coast DW fan!! heart And you like Five! ^^

Welcome! (and I'm saying this to everyone xDD)

Hello, everyone, and thank you for accepting me into your Guild. biggrin

My favourite Doctor was always William Hartnell, closely followed by Tom Baker. Then their giddy heights of Whodom were joined by Christopher Eccleston, who was truly fantastic in "his" season heart . I also very much liked Romana, the female Time Lord (Mary Tamm incarnation, of course…), and my favourite companion was Leela - the only one I've liked as much since, was Rose Tyler (yes, it surprised me, too, at the time!).

The Eccleston season was excellent - strong storylines, dark, scary tales with atmospheric sets to match, a host of new aliens, and a refurbished Tardis which looked (on the inside) much more like a high-tech vehicle with super-powers that had been shuttling back and forth through time. The new, improved, golden Daleks were menacing - and a lot more difficult to fight than they used to be - and there was even an episode with a dying Dalek, that was very emotive crying .

I loved the Doctor/Rose storyline, and it was interesting to see how that continued with the newly-regenerated (David Tennant) Doctor. I was apprehensive about the unexpected regeneration eek , but thankfully, all was well thereafter! Mr Tennant clearly loves being the Doctor, which is a major bonus, and there have been some great episodes in his seasons so far… but I'm none too sure about his newest companion, the doughty Donna, who's doing my head in at the moment… stressed lol

Hello everyone, thanks so much for having me smile I'm Trixta, 32 year old mum of 4. I live in sunny southern california, and I spend my days teaching english to esl students and hanging out with my hubby. I love to watch Doctor Who, it's one of my favorite shows, and believe me I don't watch a lot of shows, so it certainly tops my list. I hope to meet new folks in this guild and get to chat as much and as often about my fave doc, the tenth doctor biggrin See you all around 4laugh

Hello, I've been a fan of Doctor Who since it re-aired in 2005. And now I am hooked and addicted and have turn over 6 of my friends to be as obsessed as I am. We have marathons of the first 3 seasons, we watch each episode back to back whilst eating Doctor Who related food. Its really fun. I am now enjoying the fourth season very much =) I've only seen a few of the old ones with Tom Baker so I guess I can't say I am a "complete" Whovian but I adore the show, have a sonic screwdriver, a dalek alarm clock, an interior of the tardis, a tardis piggy-bank, a dalek t-shirt and a bunch more...so I'm hooked. I love watching it very much and I will enjoy talking with others about ideas and such for the new season. wink

My name is gingerfairway and I haven't been a fan that long. I have only been a fan of the new dr. who. yeah i know you're probably thinking I'm not truly a fan...well I grew up in a small town that cable was considered the basic channels. so pbs was big in my house. Pbs when I was growing up consisted of kiddy stuff, science stuff, and bbc. Now my mother was not a fan of Monty Python HUGE fan..my mother didn't approve so I guess that's why I like it so much... My mother said nothing of Dr. who but I truly didn't get it. It held no interest for me...well that and I was being harassed by a nerdy geek at school who loved the show so i didn't watch the old show much. I do know a little of the old stuff. My family is also fans of TORCHWOOD. Love torchwood. You may have figured it out maybe not Torchwood is an acrostic of DOCTOR WHO. just thought I'd point that out. Look forward to learning more about doctor who and the rest of you. thank you for letting me join. biggrin

Hello everyone! I am a new Doctor Who fan, but I am trying to gather as much info as I can. With that being said I am american. I did not have the luxury of growing up with the Doctor. However, I have seen most all of the new episodes and I am working on seeing most of the old ones. I am a 19 year old chemistry & physics major. Since I do not know the other doctors really well I am a fan of the tenth doctor. I would love some recommendations on places to "upgrade" my whoness.

Hello there, and thanks for accepting me into the guild!
I'm 21 years old, a theatre major, and I've liked to watch Doctor Who ever since a friend of mine showed me an episode with Martha. Since then, I went back, watched all the Eccleston and Rose episodes, and now I'm absolutely hooked. I'm currently loving season 4, and Donna's grown on me.
I've seen some of the older stuff, and the TV movie, and while I know some people don't accept Paul McGann, I sure like him! wink
