Ame felt herself turning red when Lancaster looked at her. He was just so...close. People staring at her like that, it made her blood boil with embarressment.

Whatever was wrong, he wasn't going to cave. Ame felt it best not to pry. Who knows, maybe she could sneak a peek at what he was looking up.

Tsuki remained on his head. Ame still wasn't sure how she felt about this. But the idea of going to the library excited her, so any jealous or bitter feelings she felt had fallen away. And, besides she'd look silly sitting a top of his head like that.

She had to walk fast to keep up with the others, because they were so much bigger. "Which way is it?" She asked panting. "You guys walk to fast!" She cried out, stomping her foot like a little kid. "Slow down!"

Seishi listened to what he said but only paid attention to half of it, she recieved her answer within the first two sentences. She had never needed to trust anyone to believe them, nor had she ever paid attention to reliability. Trust was a word with no real meaning to her, if she ever were to attempt to buiold a friendship with someone then it would be no different whether she trusted them or not, in fact it would be easier for the friendship without that or any other human traits that come with emotions. An intelligent person would see it easier to put their trust in her, whether or not her emotionless status let her put trust in them. She did not trust, but nor did she betray, not until she was betrayed herself. The golden rule says "treat others as you wish to be treated" and the way Seishi lived was close to the opposite. It would not really be friendship, not the way Hiro had explained it...so the closest she would have to what they called friends would be whatever owner she found next. But just to make sure she'd make an opposing argument and pose another question, even though the chain of questions she had planned was already broken. "I cannot care...but if I did most everything the same as someone who could then would it not be different?" she aksed this slowly and articulately but did not stop there, she had something else to say before he replied and after just a moment of thinking it over she added more. "For a friendship to work, as you've made obvious, only one of the two involved with it needs to trust the other...if one side trusts the other friendship is possible. Or so I gather from what I know about trust." she stopped after adding that final part to what she was saying. What she knew about trust was that it meant one person being able to rely on another...there was the possibility of having turst without friendship, though now she saw that it didn't work the other way around...as Hiro clearly pointed out. She noticed now that the more that she talked the longer her comments grew, and the sentences grew less stretched apart from each other as well. She didnot know why, though just as she began to think about that she began to hear herself think from another part of her mind again, Another point well made...for someone without emotions this conversation is oddly two-sided Seishi waited for the answer calmly, hearing the last thing her subconscience thought up on it's own gave her the idea that she might have once been vulnerable to emotions. Each comment that she heard come from that inaccessible place in her mind seemed to have more and more emotion backing it up...as if that was where all of her emotions were held up. She did not think about that for very long, she directed her full attention to Hiro within the first moment of her thinking. She did make a good point though, if one person trusted the other then i wouldn't mattter whether or not the person that was trusted felt the same way toward the other. Friendship was built on trust...but there were always those friendships that worked out that way, one person was very untrustworthy yet when that person became friends with someone else, often times they put their full trust in them. Theoretically, one with Seishi would not fail completely...but now that he'd told her that, and what he told her next might change what she was looking for anyway.

Hiro lifted his gaze from the ground and back to her as he waited for a reply. He knew one had to be coming, because he highly doubted she'd just leave right then. She seemed to be talking more now than before, and he was actually a little relieved. This talk of friendship... Was she trying to establish one with him, and maybe Alyssa as well? He wasn't sure, but he didn't really mind answering, so he would continue the conversation until she asked something he refused to answer, or walked away.

As he heard her next question, and the words that went along with it, he frowned and tilted his head very slightly. He considered the words just for a moment before replying again. "I find it easier to trust someone if they care about me. If they don't, then why would they be bothered to help me if I needed it? If they didn't care, then they wouldn't mind if I died or something, and knowing that, it'd be very hard for me to trust that person. Also, if they don't care, why would it matter to them whether their trusted or not anyway?" He paused again, falling silent once more as he continued watching her. All of this talk about friendship was making him feel guilty for abandoning Yuki. He needed to find her sometime soon.

Lancaster batted his eyes innocently as he stood back up to full hight. He smiled as he fished in his pocket for his ever trusty map of the school. This small slip of paper was coming in quite handy.

"Well not lets see here. We are....here....and the libary should be...." He looked around then turned himself looking at the map. "Ah here we are, it should be that way. Its a good thing this place is in the middle of everything." He smiled as he pointed and walking off, folding his map and putting it into his pocket once again.

As he walked he noticed Ame falling behind. He stoped and placed his hands in his pocket turning to her with a smile. "Oh my, Little Water Princess, please forgive us. Would you like for me to carry you? I wouldn't mind." He smiled offering her a hand from his pocket.

Cat wasn't really sure what had happened or where she was, but she did know that they were in the courtyard. She made a note to meditate, as she did every night, for she know that the spirit would awaken and wreck havok if she didn't

She thought of Hyrule; of the marriage that she was forced to go through, of the abusive and crazy man who would hurt her once they were married. Her eyes widened in horror. She didn't want that at all. She wanted to marry of free will.

She felt tears of fear swell in her eyes, but she held them back. She heard something about a library and smiled. She flapped her wings and fluttered above the ground.

She hoped that she would find her answers in a book, of how to escape it, but she knew that she would only end up with nothing.

Musei just stared down at his reflection. He sighed and brushed his bangs from his face. His tail wrapped itself around his waist like a belt.He put his hand in the water and splashed around.Suddenly he got an idea.Musei jumped into the fountain and began to splash and play in the water. His face and a look of sheer joy on it.His ears twitched whenever water got on them.Good thing he had put is notepad down away from the water.

Seishi stood there quietly for a few more moments. What he'd said made it easier to start asking the chain she'd planned before his reply to her first question about friendship, though she didn't. What he said was that knowing about her inabilities would make it hard...from that she gathered that if she were to keep that from being known to the other person...if she did that then, according to what he said, trust would build. She stood there silently for quite a long time as she thought over his words and then finally, as her thoughts began to slow and tangle together to make sense she decided she could ask one final question that put all of what she was told together to reach her decision on what to search for. "If I cannot change being emotionless...I can never have firiendship?" she heard herself speak again, and it was the same tone as she always spoke. She did not speak very much because of that fact, but that was the final question. After that her search would change, one of two ways, depending on the answer. Her wings twitched a bit as she stood there looking at him with those same empty eyes...though she looked at him the way one would loo at an item, and saw him as a whole instead of the way people normally saw each other. To this day she'd never looked someone in the eyes until they were seconds before death.

Ame nodded, allowing Lancaster to pick her up. It was fun, being this high. Lancaster was tall. Ame took the map from his hands, and gazed at it. "I don't understand how you can read this" she told him softly turning it around in her hands. "Like, how do you know what the squiggles mean?"

She then noticed Cat, who was looking extremely sad. "Whats wrong?" she asked playfully, leaning over to poke the girl atop her head. "Come now, we must all be happy. After we get back from the library I'll share the cookies that I snuck onto campus". She giggled softly. "This old lady gave 'em to me, white macadamenian nut cookies."

It was true. Ame really had these cookies hidden away in a room that she shared with some girl she didn't know. This was only temporary. Ame planned to move into her own room as soon as it was allowed.

The walk to the library was a pleasant one, and fairly easy. The schoolyard was gorgeous. The weather was warm and pleasant. A few rogue clouds dotted the skyline here and there, other than that it was crystal clear.

Ame then noticed a large building. She pointed to it. "is that the library? Its so...so...librariesh

(Ahhh...sorry I didn't knwo you guys were on...>.<)

Alyssa continued staring at the girl, her earth colored hues glowing dangerously in the moonlight. She had refused to answer the young angel, and she was soon blocking herself from everyone uncluding Hiro. Yes, she did love him, but admitting it was something Alyssa was not used to. Letting her human emotions dwell within her and control her thoughts was beginning to annoy the vampress. She actually enjoyed her personality was blocked off from the world and everyone in it.

"Don't you dare think you can catch me off gaurd with you're strange questioning. I don't open up to love. Read my mind if you want. There is nothing in there." Her voice revibrated through the angel's mind as sound would within a large bell; loud and could give you the biggest headache. Once she told the angel that telepathically, her midn shut down once more. The only thoughts that traveled through her mind were those of what the girl was speaking about.

She grunted at the two conversing, and removed Hiro's arms from around her. Instead of falling to the ground, Alyssa stood on both feet and felt no pain. The drug had officially wore off. After a moment of allowing her legs the chance to stretch, she sat down indian style on the grassy plateau. Her eyes were shut, and everything was still; Alyssa was a very good wax statue right now.

Hiroshi stared at her for a moment, and then sighed quietly, running a hand through his hair and stopping it halfway through. He really wanted to go sleep somewhere... But he blinked his eyes a couple times and slowly looked back at her, still gripping his hair. "Well..." he began slowly. "It'd be very hard for you to gain my friendship, but I guess it wouldn't be impossible... If you hadn't attacked us without warning like you did, then maybe I wouldn't have such trouble, but it'd still be difficult. With others it might be easier, if you make a better first impression or something..."

He paused, rethinking what he'd just said and trying to figure out if he was making sense. He was actually starting to feel a little dizzy. "So, I wouldn't say you can never have it... If you at least make an effort to seem like you care then that would help, but it's easier to really care rather than just pretend do. That would build real trust more quickly as well. Also, a name would help..." He fell silent again, just watching her. He found it very hard to believe that someone just wasn't capible of caring. Maybe if she put some effort into trying... There had to be someone to her worth caring about, even if she hadn't met them yet.

He glanced at Alyssa again as she removed his arm from around her, blinking a couple times again as he watched her stretch and then sit down. But he didn't say anything, because he couldn't think of anything to say. He just slowly shifted his gaze back towards the girl, his arms folding across his chest now as his wings shifted restlessly. Now that it seemed Alyssa didn't need his help any longer, it was even more tempting to just fly away from all this.

Seishi listened to him and as he finished the first part of what he was saying she heard Alyssa's voice echoing through her mind. It sounded to her like Alyssa had closed her mind off, but the way she kept intruding upon her mind was unpleasant, and so she decided on what she would do next even before Hiroshi began the second thing he was saying. When he came to where he said that really caring was easier she shook her head slowly, when he ended what he was saying with an oddly worded question she stopped shaking her head and waited a few moments. "Seishi..." that was all she could find to say, she really had no comment toward what he shad said in his last answer. As for Alyssa though she was not just going to let her continue to feel as if she could go in and out of her mind whenever she felt like it. Alyssa's eyes being shut did not bother her very much because she id not need to see for what she was going to do...if her mind was closed off then there were always other ways of doing the same thing she did. Her eyes moved to Alyssa as did her attention and she didn't wait more then a couple seconds before doing what she planned on. A barrier that was invisible from the outside in, yet black and smoggy looking from the inside out was created, though just around where her head was, cutting her off from clearly viewing the outside world and creating a space for her to telepathically reply without having to use Alyssa's mind. "Don't let yourself think that you can keep me out. I don't need to catch you off guard, but don't you ever underestimate me...You cant lie to me." the voice that echoed through that small barrier was diffrent then her voice...it was the voice of her subconscience and it sounded annoyed. The voice echoed in the same way as Alyssa's had but louder coming from the outside of her mind. Her eyes moved back to Hiroshi again as the barrier began to dissipate and began to allow Alyssa to see more clearly again. She'd never used telepathy for that reason before and somewhere inside she was confused as to why she did now but her apathetic face hid all of those thoughts and she was unsure of whether or not she just showed weakness in the way she'd done what she had. The thoughts stopped though as sshe now expected silence between the three of them for at least a little longer.

Totro walks into the courtyard, his hands in his pockets. He is looking down and the shadow from his hat is covering his eyes. A very small smirk could be seen on his face, but this was not unusual for Totro. He walked to an area of the courtyard where the grass seemed particularily healthy. He kneeled down. Then, taking his hands out of his pockets he sat with his legs infront of him, his knees bent. He braced his left hand against the ground, and draped his right arm over his knee.

Asuka wandered through the Courtyard. Her silk white ribbon and her long lavender hair blowed in the wind. She also wore a halter white dress that went down to about mid-thigh length. There was also frill on the bottom of the dress' skirt. Asuka also wore matching frilly tights and little white dress shoes. To match with her white ensemble, the girl also wore a pure white collar around her small neck. Asuka's blue eyes seemed to look lost, but she still wandered around with a smile on her face. In the girl's hands were several bags. She had a small back pack on, and two bigger bags in each hand. She had just arrived at Ria High, and wasn't used to her surroundings yet. So, that probably explained why Asuka would stop and pause every few seconds to look around at the area.

Where are those maps that the android mentioned? Asuka thought to herself, stopping and sitting down under a tree. And where do I put my bags? Is there some one that takes them, or something? After a few moments of pondering on what to do, the small 11 year old got an idea. It would be a wonderful idea. She would play her flute and hopefully it will attract some animals that could keep her company. That way she woudn't be bored while she waited for some one to come and help her out. Asuka took off her back pack and opened it up to look for her flute. It wasn't too hard to fin it, since there wasn't a lot of things that were in the small bag. Within moments she took out a beautiful silver flute.

"Okay. Here goes nothing!" Asuka said taking a breath and beginning to play the flute. This was a special flute. Depending on the tune and song, she could cast spells on others, but she mainly used it to call animals to her side. As she played a soft and sweet tune, a few animals came to hear the flute. A few bunny rabbits came and several birds landed on the branches of the tree to listen to the flute. Asuka, even though her eyes were closed, she knew the animals were there, and began to play a happier tune.

I hope they're enjoying this song, I just composed it recently! Hee hee! Asuka thought to herself as she continued to play, tapping her feet to the beat of the song.
