More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

The first door opens and envelopes Alexavier in a bright light. The light dissipates and he finds himself in the first mind...the primary mind.

The room looks like the standard room for a teenage boy. Well, a teenage boy who had a subscription to popular science. The walls were littered with models of different parts of anatomy, posters featuring ground breaking scientists, and the occasional poster of a girl from some obscure anime.

A young by with glasses sat at a desk with his nose in a book and his right hand on a pencil. Without looking up from the paper he addresses the stranger in his room.

"Gidget I told you, I'll come and play with you in a minute. I need to finish this."

Alexavier held his hand in front of his eyes to block out the light. What he saw...was not what he expected. He wasn't sure of what he should expect actually but certainly not this. One other thing that surprised him was that he could think clearly. No radiation induced madness as before. He felt....stable. His eyes darted across the room. Bit of a science nerd huh? He wondered who's mind he had stumbled into. Or memories for that matter.

Wait...did he say Gidget? That was Shane's sister. This can't be....can it? What are the odds of finding him right away? Alexavier thought to himself.But if this really is him....then if he could somehow wake him or make him realize but happened. Force him to wake up. If he could snatch back control over his own body from Legion then that could be his ticket out of here. Should he play it safe? Slowly win his trust and reveal it or use force?

" I think she is in her own room. She is your little sister right?" Alexaiver carefully said.

Shane's pencil stopped abruptly. He put it down slowly and closed his book. He spun around in his chair and brought his finger up to adjust his glasses. He looked at the stranger with caution and suspicion. The boy was teeming with innocence and wonder. A far cry from the zealous creature Alexavier knew.

"Who are you? What are you doing in my house?"

" A....friend if you can call it that. Calm down, I'm not here to hurt anyone or something like that." Alexavier said calmly, analyzing his current situation. He could see the outside world through the window. Trees.....the sky. So this place wasn't confined to a single room. Makes sense in a way. A dream is anything but confining. Alexavier ran a hair through his hair. It was still waving around as it normally did. With a frown he held a bit in front of his eyes. Like before...it still changed color. He could work with this! He had to wake him up but...what was this feeling of being watched? Like eyes piercing through his shoulder blades.

Silently he closed the door and walked over to the bed and sat on it. "You like science right? How would you react if I said that this was natural?" He asked as he pointed at his eyes and hair. Both would still be changing colors.

Shane adjusted his glasses again as he carefully watched the stranger enter his room and sit on his bed. He wanted to cry out to his mother and father to get this cretin out, but he didn't want to take the chance of alarming this strange person.

He glanced up at the man's hair and sniffed. "Such a thing is hardly natural. That would mean that your very being is in constant flux, unable to hold a solid DNA sequence."

"You still haven't answered my second question. If you aren't here to hurt me or my family then why are you here?"

"Well you are spot on about the DNA bit. It IS unstable. You should see it in the dark. It glows. Let's just say that I am a mutation and not a natural one at that. Radiation always does something to the genes huh?. And for your second question....have you seen the film The Matrix? No wait scratch that. You haven't, Not released yet. Not for a good many years." Alexavier replied and continued to look around the room. Trying to find out just what year it was in here.

"Yes,,,why am I here? To get you I suppose. Not a bad way as I said." Alexavier had an idea. He hoped Legion had been keeping close tabs on Shane" Has anything strange happened lately? Not being able to get information you wanted. Being stopped from going somewhere? Anything out of the ordinary?"

Shane's eyes darted quickly around the room, looking for anything he could use as a weapon. He had his microscope, but he wasn't about to smash that after all he went through to save up the money for it.

He attention returned to the stranger in his room. "The only strange thing that has happened is you. Look, man, get out of my room. I don't have time for this, and I'm pretty sure my Dad wont hesitate to kick your a** if he finds you in here."

The last part was a definite bluff, with an incredibly easy tell. He adjusted his glasses again uneasily, his eyes occasionally glancing at the closed door.

Alexavier's hair and eyes flared up red and stayed red as it tended to do when threatened. Or was it Cassandra who was more susceptible to that? Being apart from her completely like this made him forget who it usually happened to but that did not change the fact that it did. Alexavier saw through his bluff. He practically gave it away.

He sighed and walked up to the door to lean against it, cutting of one potential escape. " Look when you bluff someone make sure you don't give it away with your body language. Anyway,why don't you take a look at my hair under that fancy microscope of yours. See if it...catches your curiosity" Alexavier said while plucking out a strand of hair and held it in front of him.

Shane was starting to become noticeably tense. He was far from able to defend himself in a physical altercation. He seemed a lot like the type who was more likely to get stuffed in a locker.

He swallowed hard, then reached out a trembling hand to take the stranger's hair. Still trying to maintain some semblance of control of the situation, Shane looked over the rim of his glasses to the stranger.

"Why me? If you want someone to examine you there are several people who would be a great deal better at it than I am."

" Oh calm down man I'm not your enemy." Alexavier snapped at him. This weak and cowardice version of Shane was getting on his nerves. But it appeared he needed to follow his own advice first. Calming down.

" It depends on if you can understand and accept what I am. I am not human. Well...not homo sapien anyway. Evolution through direct influence of an external factor. Forced evolution really." Alexavier casually said as he waited for Shane to take a look under his microscope. His hair and eyes started changing again freely.

Shane took one last look at the stranger before placing the hair between a set of slides and inserting it into the clips. He looked into the scope and started to bring the hair into focus. He then increased the magnification.

What he saw was astounding. The hair was flexing and flowing like a collide-scope. He looked away from the scope and to the stranger. "Who are you?"

Now that he had caught his interest or at least slightly it was time to move along. " My name is Alexavier Aiden.I am a Meta-Human. At least that's what they call us. I wish I had an actual power to display but ever since I've entered here I can't seem to be able to do anything." He made his introduction.

" Why don't we go for a short walk Shane? I am sure you've got many more questions and I shall try to answer them. Besides...who knows who might over hear things in here?" He felt that presence. It never seemed to have vanished.

Shane was about to protest when a small set of knuckles rapped at the door and tried to open it. When the person the knuckles belonged to realized she couldn't open the door, she huffed and whined.

"Sane, come play. Raggy Anne needs a doctoow."

Shane's eyes widened when he heard his kid sister's voice come from the other side of the door. He looked from the door to Alexavier. "Fine, whatever. Just let me get rid of her. She's a blabber mouth, and will undoubtedly tell my parents I have a guest in the house."

" Sure thing. Best not to alert anyone in here." Alexavier softly replied as he stepped aside. He could easily hide behind the door when Shane would open it and remain there until it was safe.

" Hmmm yeah, I suppose. Only now I want to keep on discovering what else I can do with that. But I am sure that my mind will be on keeping us safe instead of thinking of new methods." Theonis replied. He was glad he stopped his little windmill before it got out of hand. Maybe he shouldn't let his mind wander off like that when using his power.

" Now...about that sword. It's always easier to manipulate than to create pressure"

Purple strands of hair glided down after letting out a sigh which caused it to sway upward. "You boys and your need for toys." she said in her sigh. "Come with me." she said as she simply came up to him and held him close. She took in his scent and smiled as they dropped into the darkness of their shadow. They emerged into her's and Gidget's room.

"This is very important to me. It was given as a graduation present from my sensais Teshomaru and... Freya..." she paused when she said Freya, wondering what she's doing now, or to put it more accurately what is Daedalus making her do. She continued to the closet and pulled out a wooden box that had the Trinity Celtic knot. She wiped the dust off. Then opened it. She pulled up the scabbard and drew the hilt enough to see the same knot near the base of the hilt. It shown just much as it did when she first got it. She smiled it its good condition. She placed it back in and turned on a light then drew the sword out of its scabbard it sung as it did.

Testing the blade she continued like one has done trained in the art to see if there would be any discrepancies in the blade, "This was made by swords smith well known for his craft especially with katanas... It was my first weapon on the job and I can see right now it seems that you may need this more than I." After she was done and satisfied of the condition she placed the blade back in its scabbard and placed it in Theonis' hands. "May it protect you as it has I."
