I've been in a slightly irritated mood since I started my shift today. Residents keep taking off with the pens we've had set out for the sign in/out clipboards and not returning them. So, we've had to resort to tying what pens we have available to the clipboards, so they don't go running off... because we are starting to run out of pens to be leaving out freely.

And, of course, residents are being extremely inpatient with their requests. Like, yes, I heard you about the missing pen and I just said I would look for one because I don't have any available to easy access at this moment. Not to mention, they came up to me about it in the middle of a task I was doing; they couldn't wait the few seconds for me to wrap something up, so I can get to a stopping point to take care of a f**king pen. stressed

*looks at what's on today's lunch menu* Ugh... neither of those sound good to me today. Guess I'll do a sandwich.
I'm starting to get bored with some of the lunch options lately. Especially when it feels like they are having similar meats back to back.
