More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Alec shook his head in a panic. "Wake the others?! Impossible. Would make no difference. Bodies are part of the construct. That cannot be fixed now. To wake them would mean immeasurable torture. Would feel everything. You've seen it. The core. No longer human."

"Must disrupt your power. Will only be temporary, but will be enough. Open the defenses so the nightmares will distract The Legion. That is our role. Only way. Or else the machine girl will fail. The acid queen wont break us."

"We have to hurry. Have to find your door. Destroy the control. Destroy the control, disrupt the power. Disrupt the power, return the chaos. Return the chaos, reveal the nightmares."

Alec began to shuffle from door to door. He twitched and rubbed his arms constantly. "Has to be here. Have to find quick before they come."

Man this guy is worse then I was. Then I was...me. Individual. It really is a strange sensation. So it's impossible to wake them? At least he has a plan. Let's hope he can keep it together until then.

" Acid queen? Ah Carina." He followed Alec. "How can you know which door it is? Can't we break one open? Or would that put Legion right on top of us?"

Ako met her glances, admiring her as he gathered his own clothes. He'd put on everything but the jacket as she asked if he was ready. It was still warm in the room, so he just hung it over his shoulder. "Always." he answered.

The doors opened and he was greeted by the security. Figures. Leonard tossed aside the cigarette and let himself be escorted by these fellows. Not to make sure he wouldn't get lost that's for sure. After all he used to work here before Daedelus was created. Still it was a bit nostalgic walking through these halls again. He couldn't help but wonder what powers these Meta's had and how they worked. It didn't take him long to reach the lab.

Liv had just taken off her top and was drying herself. Then she was her cute little kitty look sad. Hanging ears were still cute and all but not if she was sad. Letting the towel hang over her shoulders, barely covering her chest, she gave Kerana a hug from behind.

" Hey hey, why the long face kitty?" She asked sweetly.

Liv's hug tightened a bit. " Oh, i'm sorry for your loss Kerana. You okay?" She asked softly. Liv felt sorry for the girl. She really did.

Alec waved his arms around his ears wildly. "Shhhh, need to concentrate. Have to run the possibilities. Foresight not perfect. Can only see what will come of choices. Must use sparingly or raptors will find us."

Alexavier threw his hands in the air.

" Alright Alright. Chill" He wouldn't mind waiting till Alec found the backdoor to Alexavier's mind but waiting has never been his strong side.

Alec's pupils dilated as his power took effect. He could see the choices. What doors they would lead to. What dangers awaited. Then he saw the door. It was far, but he knew which one it was now.

"Found it. I have found the door. It will take some time to reach but-"

His words were cut short by the sound of a door opening. Then another. Then another. The doors were a distance away from the direction Alec was looking, but he knew what was about to come.

There was a strange sound that came from the doors. A sort of clicking and cawing. Three bipedal creatures stepped out of the doors. They resembled large chickens at first, save that the heads were nearly neck-less. That soon changed when they saw their prey. The heads split open into five parts, each one lined with horrible teeth. From their backs sprouted four arms which popped and angled themselves into a front attacking position.

They mewled and cried, starting toward the men at a mad dash. They were fast...very fast.

Alec screamed. "Too late! Run! Have to get as close as possible before they can catch us!" Alec yanked at Alexavier's arm once before sprinting in the direction of his door.

That confidence, that ever so admirable confidence. She nearly wanted to have at him again right then. It would have to wait, though. There was work to be done.

Gidget led Ako back to the lab and opened the door. She arrived shortly after Acula had. She was glad to see that he was in possession of a case.

"Hello Doctor. Is that what I think it is?" She asked while pointing at the case.

Good he found it! Followed by Ahhh....crap

Nearly tripping as Alec pulled his arm he managed to correct himself and follow into a mad dash towards the door. But he couldn't help but wonder. Can those things really hurt him? But more importantly...how would his mind look like. He had no idea any memories prior to his birth with Cassandra did not exist.

Leonard turned around as Gidget and the man entered. Ako Riosu, a Meta with free control of Electricity. An amazing power in itself. He returned to Gidget's question.

" Yes it is Agatha." He said as he put down the case on a table. Leonard removed the cuffs from his and and inserted the password. Various clicks were heard from inside the case and it popped open. Inside of it laid three metal cased canisters. Turning the case so that Agatha and Ako could see it." It's the best I could do in this short period of time."

While they ran, Alec began to crunch more possibilities. There was one similarity between all of them. They were not going to make it to Alex's door before they were torn to shreds.

Quickly he picked the last possible door they could reach and yanked it open. He swung around and pulled Alexavier in with him, slammed the door shut, and panted heavily as he looked around at where they were.

The scene around them was very sterile and clean. It was a very swanky office. There was no one in there at the time.

"Empty. Means we came through exit door. Entrance door will be right next to it in the hall. Must find in this building, Must be quick. Careful not to disrupt the memory too much. Disruption will bring the enforcers."

"Alright" Alexavier replied while catching his breath. He really wasn't the athletic type. "So...who's mind is this? This mine? Because I don't know any of this"
