@B&B - ..okay, darling. -hug- are you alright? You do sound.. un peu frappé..

On that subject - it's fun getting tipsy and dancing and stuff, but it doesn't mean that it's all we do. Last Saturday evening I walked with a friend from Tottenham Court Road (where we are) down through Covent Garden and the Strand all the way to the Thames and back - several miles, through some of the nicest areas, & we stopped to listen to buskers and chat on benches and admire the lights and direct lost Americans.. this walk lasted from about 10pm to 2am~ and not once did I feel the need to detour into a bar or threatened or that somehow London was a dangerous place. Honestly - don't listen to the media, darling, you know that. Our country isn't as bad as all that. (:

@'elfy - I'm not really trying to compare.. like I said, it's more that if you attack London, I have to defend it, because I love it here so damn much. & really, I don't feel that I'm overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of anything - it's more that.. it's all so wonderful together, the huge things and the small.

There's a possibility (slim) that I might go to Monash University in Melbourne next year, maybe I'll look Elf up and we can hang! surprised

That's an awesome idea! I'd love to do that cbc! Even better if you went to Melbourne Uni instead. Thay way I could find you easily through the facebook netwook. Are you planning on moving to Melbourne permenantly or just for the duration of your degree?

@Niph: Lol. You're telling this to the girl who worships England and would never want to move away from it. xd I do love this country; but when I'm pissed off with it, I can slate it like mad. Lol.

You sound excited by the idea.

But keep in mind that it's only a possibility. Given the choice, I'd rather stay in Sydney, in my comfort zone.

Aww, that's too bad. It would be nice if you came down here. We could definitely meet each other in person. But I guess you prefer Sydney to Melbourne. xd

Sorry I haven't been here in so long. Been in court/jail. Nothing to bad yet. I don't see a good outcome for this, either I'm found guilty, or I'll probably be charged for assult. As for the assult part... It looks like I might just be a pawn in all of this. It's looking more and more like the mother's boyfriend might have been doing some... things to my girl burning_eyes . If that's so, I don't know what I'll do. It seems like I'm just using you guys to vent. Sorry, but there's just so much on my mind lately. All I know is that by the end of this someone is going to be very VERY hurt.

Whoa you got arrested by the cops and you're facing a criminal trial? surprised Man that's a scary prospect. I doubt that would ever happen to me in Australia; our crime rates are surprisingly low. But I guess in America it's a common occurence.
PostPosted: Tue Oct 28, 2008 9:30 pm
@mini: crime rates maybe low, but do they consider the unreported crimes? =D
@berry: it's the rant stress relief thread. go relieve your stress in rants. XDD
Btw I'm sure if you told the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth they'd release you and maybe your mom's boyfriend will be sent to prison...and... how did you end up arrested anyway?

yah... Telling the truth doesn't work. That's what got me thrown in jail. I'm released right now, but am under 24/7 supervision. I got arrested because I had to do SOMETHING to try and better my situation, so I wrote a letter to the girl's mother explaining things and I was being COMPLETELY honest. I went to the place she worked, gave her the letter and left. At 12:30 A.M. the sheriff was knocking on my door, and I was immediately arrested. He arrested me because he "thought" that they had a restraining order against me. There was nothing even RELATIVELY close to something like that. I was advised not to see the girl, so I gave the mother the letter. THAT'S WHAT GOT ME ARRESTED!!! The D.A. seen that there was no restraining order, so he released me on the account that I'd be under 24/7 supervision. It looks like my case might be dismissed on the 10th though!!! If that happens, I'm going to do everything I can to get to the bottom of what's going on with her mom's boyfriend.

Why do the girls I fall for always seem so hard to reach!?

Here's a little saying I like... I didn't fall for her, she tripped me!

Nah, even unreported crimes in Australia are much, much lower per capita than it is in America. Since all guns were banned 12 years ago, the murder rate has dropped significantly. After all, it's much harder to kill someone with a knife and leave no evidence than it is to shoot someone with a gun. Nowadays, serious crimes such as murder and rape are treated as big news items, whereas I doubt the media in America blink an eye whenever someone is killed, unless it's a mass-killing or something.

@Berry: I'm glad you've been freed. I also hope your case gets dismissed. Seriously, I think your state's legal system might be a little screwed up if you get arrested for something that's not even crime as such.

LOL, a little screwed up? But yah, someone being murdered isn't really news unless its in your town or something around here.
