She sighed in discontentment as she walked through the coutyard.It had been a very dull and uneventful day for Hatsu.As she walked her steps left ice patches shaped like her shoes.She crossed her arms over her chest and looked around boredly.No one she knew was around, not that she really knew anyone to begin with.Hatsu sighed again and walked over to a fountain.She sat on the edge of it and dipped her fingers into the water.She swayed her arm back and forth, causing small ripples to form.Usually she would have frozen the fountain by now, but she wasn't in the mood for that today.

Brandon walked around the courtyard wore out from his traning he had his head down whatching his steps.He then steped on a patch of ice.She looked up and saw the girl from before by the fountain.She stood straight up and looked at her.He wasnt tryingot stare but he kinda ws.He slowly walked over to the fountan and leaned against it."Hi again.."He said kinda under his breath as he looked at her then the water.His steel eyes whatched the water come down and his long black hair blew alittle in the wind.

she turned toawrds the dark haired stranger, her cold empty eyes were fixated on his face.He looked oddly familair to her but she couldn't remember where.Suddenly his face appeared in her mind.He was leaning up against something.He looked so depressed."Hello...."she muttered as she finally remembered who the boy was.Well, she didn't know who he was but she had seen him before.She turned back and looked down at the water.She could see her reflection but it was faint.Hatsu splashed the water and her image was gone.

"I've..Seen you hear in Ria a couple of times..and finaly thought to talk to you..I'm Brandon by the way..Brandon 'Wrath' Valentine."He siad in his low almost cold voice.He looked in the water also with his steel eyes.He then looked up at him and showed no emotion in his face.Sometimes he thought he had no emotions..I guess thats what he gets for being of demon and Vampier desent.He looked back into the water but glanced at her many times.

She glanced over at him.His name echoed in her mind.My name is Hatsu.Hatsu Tristesse."she said, her voice as icy and empty as her eyes.She rarely said her last name, mostly because few people could pronounce it correctly.She hated hearing her name be butchered by people who had no idea how to say it.She turned to him and held out her hand.Hatsu expected him to take it as a sign of respect and proper upbringing.Her eyes stayed focused on his face, mainly she focused on his eyes.They were very much like her own, yet his held some sort of inner love.She loved nothing and never would love anything.

Brandon took her hand and shook it."Its nice to meet you Hatsu."He said with a small smile..not even a smile ore like a smirk.Then he noticed his sleve had caught on his arm and his sleve was open so she could see his arm.The scars on his arm were verry deep..like Knife and sword cuts.He wuickly took his hand back and puleld his sleve down making sure thta his skin would not show again.He hated his scars to be shown..those Damn hunters..they tourchered him like hell.

Hatsu's eyes caught the faint sight of something on Brandon's arm.Before she could get a better look he had pulled away from her.From what she saw they looked like scars.Deep and horrid scars.Hatsu knew better than to pry into someone's business so she kept silent about what she saw."So what is thou doing out on such a day as this?"she asked him.She took her hand out of the fountain.She shook most of the water off before resting it in her lap.Her eyes trailed off him and onto other thingsaround them.Thoug she seemed easily distracted, her mind was still set on Brandon.

"Well acualy.."Brandon said as he looked off in frount of him.like he was caught in a daze."I'm looking for my sister..Faye...Thats the hole reson I'm here anyway.."Brandon said as he gased off as he looked at his surondings.Brandon started to think about Faye completely forgetting about hatsu for a moment.He then glanced over at her and said."Have you hear dof her?'He asked.He realy whanted to see his sister and would ask about anyone.

Hatsu thought for a moment."Faye...."she muttered to herself.She shook her head."Doesn't ring a bell. Sorry."She sighed and looked back at the fountain.She lifted her hand and dipped it in the ater.There were a few ripples that spread out over the surface of the water.From those ripples came a light layer of ice.It made it's way all around and up the fountain til the entire thing was encased in ice.The water that flowed from the top stopped midway and then flowed no more.She pulled her hand away and looked back up at Brandon.

Risshun was walking along the paths that went around and through the courtyard. When she had walked around to the Training Hall and the Spirit Blade areana she had seen it but had never stopped by to check it out. Her blonde hair swayed slightly behind as she walked along the path looking out at the grass and scattered trees. She stopped and smiled as she stretched her arms. "This would be a good place to take the puppy" she said looking at the large area. She stepped off the path and walked around the courtyard humming to herself.

"I see.."Brandon aid as he looked down for a moment then he looked back up at her and noticed the ide."So you control ice eh?"He said as he placed his hand on the ice and Shadow came like a fog over the ice and rolled over to her and formed a Black rose and a hand lifted up and the rose turned real but the hand was pure shadows."For you.."Brandon said with a small voice.

She seemed mildly surprised by the gift.Hastu hesitated at first but then reached fir the rise and took it.She held it close to her and sniffed it.It was sweet, and very real.Normally she hated all things beautiful but she decided to keep it.Hatsu secured it in the white ribbon around her waist that keot her dress from being too loose on her petite body."Thank you."she said as she looked back up at him.Hatsu had never recieved a gift from someone, or said thank you before.Guess there is a first time for everything.

Brandon smirked."You welcome."Then the hand and all of the shadow's disapered just as they have come.He looked at her and said."Thats for giving me the time of day to answer my question."He said as he moved his ahdn to his pocket and asked."Do you mind If I smoke..If you dont whant me too I wount....its just a bad habbit."He said as he had his hand in his pocket to get his cigorettes.His black haor covere dhis face as the wind pulled his hair.He took his other hand and moved his hair out of his face.

Mizkui entered the courtyard, having stopped by the dorms long enough to pick out a room and drop off her things. She didn't even bother to unpack though, too interested in finding out her new surroundings. Her grayish eyes stared around herself and then rested upon the fountain for a moment. She hesitated, and then slowly walked towards it, keeping completely silent as she moved. Her black boots made hardly a sound as she walked over the grass and paused again at the fountain's side. She set her hands on the ledge at the bottom as she leaned forward, staring at her reflection in the water.

Shojuto walked into the courtyard, still quite drowsy from his long sleep. The night before, he'd explored as much of the campus, and around it, as he could. When he'd gotten back to the dorms all he remembered was collapsing onto his bed and not waking up until almost half a day later, which was odd for him, sleeping for more then six hours usually meant he was coming down with something.

He looked around himself and noticed many people were out and about, talking with friends. Part of him wondered why he'd even left the dorms, he knew the day would be a boring one, or at least that's what he thought. Shojuto walked over to the fountain and sat down on the ledge, turning ever so slightly so he could look into the water. After looking up he noticed a girl nearby him, not knowing whether or not to say hi, he kept silent and simply smiled at her.
