More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Alec darted through and opened the door, allowing Alexavier to cross over before closing it. Once more they are in the hallway.

"Placed in conundrum now. More doors have appeared. Never stacked at the end, always placed randomly. Need to find method of fighting the raptors. Weapon, would have to enter military related door. My power, useless in fight. Your power, locked. Current astral form a shard of true self. Enough to resist. That's why power unavailable."

He sat down on the non existent floor and started rocking back and forth while cradling his head. "Think, need to think."

Gidget shook her head. "The odds of you and him being in the same location at that time are too slim. I want you to hang onto it. Also, be sure that the guys use their assigned helmets. The material should keep them safe from Legion's psychic attack."

Trinity's phone buzzes with a text message.

Kage chan, I assume you are heading toward the heart of that monster heading here. You were probably calling to ask for my help. This I cannot give. Not now, at least. I have infiltrated the enemy, and am close to finding out what it keeping Freya under their control. I cannot leave without risking her safety. I know you can handle this. Be strong, and remember what we taught you.

P.S. Gidget will probably give you the concentrated Ki. Don't use it until you need it. Remember that an overload of Ki could kill you.

Trinity nodded, "I've already informed my Generals of the plan and of the helmets. They are relaying the plans as we speak." She looks to her phone and noticed his warning. That may explain why he was catious about my having it... I hope he finds what he's looking for. Hopefully Freya won't be under their control for long. She placed her smart phone back in her utility belt and waited for Gidget to give her the concentrated Ki.

"I am to blame on this so it is only natural I fix it. Or rather help fix it." Leonard replied.

"Only because a seventeen year old girl was crazy enough to tempt fate and power hungry people like those involved in Daedalus in the first place," Annie said, softening slightly. Maybe Leonard had some guilt issues to deal with: less kindly, Annie thought he deserved them.

"Destroy the mind or at least create some nice chaos. I've never been much of a fighter. Cassandra was the one did that. But even if we find someone who can fight...how can we use that knowledge? By killing the mind?" Alexavier asked. t the sight of Alec's cradling he thought that perhaps Alec had been here a bit too long.


"Mistakes were made and now we are fixing it."

Theonis began to look around the place while keeping in eye on the counter. It was coming closer and closer.

Gidget nodded and walked over to the locker containing the auto-injectors of concentrated Ki. She took one from the clamps and closed the door.
She promptly walked over to Trinity and held it out to her.

"Trinity...there isn't much I can say that you don't already know. I just wanted to say thank you. Thanks for being my friend." Gidget smiled brightly at Trinity. It was a genuine and cheerful smile that contained a hint of the girl she used to be.

"Destroy the mind or at least create some nice chaos. I've never been much of a fighter. Cassandra was the one did that. But even if we find someone who can fight...how can we use that knowledge? By killing the mind?" Alexavier asked. t the sight of Alec's cradling he thought that perhaps Alec had been here a bit too long.

"Impossible, to kill the mind would require death of the dreamer. Would mean killing the enforcers first. You saw the enforcers. Very dangerous."

Alec stopped rocking as he hit his brainstorm. "Very dangerous, but only way. Must lure raptors into a mind. Presence of raptors will instigate reaction from enforcers. Infighting ensues. But how to capitalize fully on the situation. Still troublesome."

"Yeah, but I'm putting my life on the line a lot more of you and helping kill someone I love," Annie replied. "I'd like to think I'm not as guilty as you. Really, you shouldn't expect me to be the responsible one- not at the time. I was a kid."

She added, "Of course, spending over a decade dealing only with Daedalus scientists doesn't help to properly mature a person either. Maybe I'm still as irresponsible as I was back then..."

Sighing she held out a hand to Leonard and said with a smile almost dripping in an added venomous threat, "So, we both screwed up. I trust now that we both have acknowledged that and are working to correct this 'little problem' you wouldn't do anything to back stab me or any of the others. After all, your precious son is a meta and happens to be seeing the head of security here, too."

"Not only Friend, Best Friend and I wouldn't have done it for anyone." she returned Gidget's smile and hugged her tight. After they let go from the embrace she took the concentrated Ki secured it, then teased "You better come back in one piece we went through a lot of trouble to get you back into your body wink " She starts to head out toward the exit, knowing the next step that needs to happen is her speech to the troops. She has been well known to keep the troops' spirits up even at their darkest moments. She wasn't sure if she could keep that up with their next battle. With a lot on her mind right now she heads out the door.

Ako hung back, out of the way as the others conversed. He had nothing to add, once again the outsider. He was okay with that, though. He only had one problem; as the others discussed plans and aids to help them, he remembered Gidget's cannon, still in the saddle bag of his bike, in the parking garage. He wanted to go get it, but did he have the time to walk there and back?

Alexavier grinned. A little chaos eh? Good.

" Easy,,,,make ourselves known here. Hold open the door, have em follow us, let the raptors wreak havoc. That in turn would cause the enforces to emerge and bam. Chaos." Alexavier explained. He hoped something like that would work.

Leonard shook her hand. " I wouldn't gain anything from trying to back stab any of you. Now I don't like having my son fight that thing but that's his choice." He replied.

Theonis sighed.

Alec stood up and shook his head. "Not what I meant. Even if enforcers and raptors try to kill each other, additional raptors can be made to roam the hall. Have to find way to combat them. Need weapons."

Gidget smiled as her friend left. She turned and approached Ako, not paying much mind to the countdown on the screen.

"If you're worried about the Tesla cannon, don't be. While we were...together...I found out that our powers are similar. Tell me, do you know how to make your arms into a Jacob's ladder? Because if you don't, I can impart my knowledge on how you would be able to accomplish that."

"Ahh...I see" Alexavier replied sadly because there wouldn't be chaos. " So we need weapons that will stay with us even when we leave someone's mind. I don't think a bullet to the brains would work.....dismemberment perhaps?"

"Would require getting close to them. A rifle would suffice, or a shotgun with white phosphorus rounds. Light them on fire. Would work. Need to find a memory that is either military, or close to a munitions store. Locations only hold as long as the memory knows of what's there."

"Flamethrowers are nice too. Seriously, you'd think I could still kind of sense what's behind these doors right?" Alexavier walked around and just let his hand slide over the doors in hope that perhaps he still could sense what is in there. But that ability would most likely still be blocked for him.
