Hi everyone! New to the guild, thought I would post.

Recent fan to Doctor Who, but LOVING it! First started watching with the 9th doctor, and when I found out he would not be returning after 1 season I was very bummed. And then the 10th Doctor came along, and I realize he is MY doctor! smile

Newbie here- and of course, Doctor Who fan. I admit, the older episodes didn't quite float my boat, but since Christopher Eccleston I was hooked. Maybe it was just the updated and relevant story lines along with the uber cool graphics, I dunno.

Well, hello there, I'm Nearsighted Vampire! (NV) um...yeah, I just got invited to the guild today, so here's a bit about me.
I remeber long ago, my dad waas watching doctor Who, and I watched a bit with him. I htink it was the first episode, but it had rose in it, and I remeber she watched the earth blow up. then the show got moved past my bed time, so I had to stop watching.
Recently, I have discvered it now comes on a 9PM, friday nights, on the SciFi channel, and I can watch it again!
the current doctor has AWESOME hair.

My name is Kari. I'm what you would call a "new hire" into the Doctor Who fandom. I only recently discovered that this is the best show ever created (TRUFAX), and there will never be enough Who in the world for me.
My favorite Doctor is a tie between Four & Ten.
My favorite companion is Donna Noble. Awesome 24/7/365.
My favorite pairing is Doctor/Master. There is no telling me otherwise. Their love is canon. My second favorite pairing is Doctor/TARDIS.

I've been watching Dr. Who since 9th Dr and Rose. I'm totally hooked - even to the point of buying the books when I can so I can read the Dr when I can't watch it. Usually I just DVR episodes - I catch them on BBC and SciFi. My fav Companion is Rose but that may just be because I am blonde. I've just started seeing episodes w/Donna so I'm not sure about here yet - although I do like her. Can't wait for the episode with the Doctor's Daughter (episode 6)!

I'm 17, I've been watching Doctor Who in the US since I was about 8 because my grandfather always had me watch the BBC when I was over at his house. rofl
My favorite Doctor was Four, until Ten came along. D: I can't help it, it's the hair and the expressions. redface
I also watch Torchwood [which I managed to get my brother into, and by default- Doctor Who as well].

I've been a doctor who fan ever since I was in the 8th or 9th grade. I used to watch Doctor Who on PBS on sunday evenings. Back then my favorite was definitely four, although I liked three and five alot.

These days my favorites are five and nine. It is really a shame that nine only had one season. But I do really like the tenth doctor too. I have fun watching the current episodes and download them every week so that I don't have to wait for them to come to the US.

Never ever in all the years of Doctor Who has there been as much fuss by the doctor over an ex companion as there has been with Rose. I don't like it and am tired of it. Donna is a breath of fresh air, and I think I'm one of the only ones who isn't looking forward to Rose's return.

Wow, assuming these topics aren't done to death in this guild already, I may have brought up stuff that people want to chat about... Well, anyone who might want to discuss these things with me will find them reposted below sooner or later, (or else pm me.) xd

Hey, what's up. Newish fan been a fan since season 2 of the new series, but I love the new and the old. Been watching in order from The Unearthly Child for about a year and a half now almost done with Tom Baker.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to talking who with all you, hoping to find some hard core who fans as well. wink

(Also I'm trying to save up enough to go to London in September to see DT and Patrick Stewart in Hamlet. Maybe I'll see some of you there.)

If you take the time to check out my profile you will find that I am, in fact, from the planet of Pluto. Or at least that’s what I say at parties. I’m the bassist in my rock band Tandom Kabodell named after the two founders Dan and Tom… Yeah… other than that… I just... do fun stuff, I wish there were more people who like Doctor Who in the world because I can’t seem to find enough to talk to at least in my town… I have converted one of the guitarists in my band, and he may eventually come join this guild. I’m 18 years old; I just graduated from high school. I’ve been attending college at the same time as high school for a year now, and I like college better… sometimes. stare I dunno. I'm happy to be in this guild! I hope I get to know everybody soon!
