More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Gidget giggled at Theonis' attempted acronym. Her giggling abruptly stopped when she realized that she had barely started her menstrual cycle when she was killed. She had watched Trinity and the other women of Valhalla deal with it, and now she was back to...ugh.

She shuddered then continued to explain the device.

"These will activate the moment they are exposed to psychic waves. No work on your part at all. Just put them on and they'll do the rest."

Annie took one of the halo looking devices and placed one on, "Actually this may take work. For me if someone throws a hit at me or I am in danger it takes work for me NOT to turn liquid. It's instinctual."

She frowned as the device adjusted to her head size, "Well, at least I don't feel any different. Guess we'll see how useful these things are soon. Right?"

Pink eyes? Now there's a new one. Not bad. But still...nose bleeding? This isn't some japanese cartoon thingy.

Liv noticed Larry and Deora. The latter looking a bit too furious. Which was understandable. He did take pictures of them while changing. Liv might let him off the hook if she wasn't completely naked on them but that doesn't change the fact that he did see her naked! It might seem odd of Liv but when she dressed the way she does, she doesn't mind people watching her at all. But when it's like this. When she doesn't have any say in the matter, it changed things.

"See that big guy over there sweetie? He is a bit over protective of me and it's hard to stop him. Deora, on the other hand....she will...how to put it lightly...break every single bone you have. So be a good boy and give me that camera okay honey?" Liv said sweetly.

Theonis put on the....circlet for a lack of a better name. Taking a deep breath he stretched. Bones cracked on varies places. Then he began to loosen his shoulders a bit. It may seem pointless but if it made him feel a tiny bit more ready he would do it. He drifted to a spot that gave him a bit more space. His sphere formed around him. Theonis increased the size so it would fit 4 people. Slowly the sphere vanished.

"Don't worry about your limit Theo. Break that limit. Push past it. You'll be fine." Leonard told his son. He was confident in his theory about their genes. Especially his sons genes." Here" He tosses Theonis his shades. "Gotta go with style right?"

While Theonis was still processing what his father said about his limits he had already tossed the shades. He managed to catch them and put them in. his breastpocket." Yeah, but who wears them inside? Anyway let's not keep it waiting. Shall we get this over with?" Theonis said to the group.

Kerana

Kerana closed her eyes, felt Heather's warm embrace. "Thanks, I appreciate that..." then the broadcast was interrupted with an internal broadcast of Trinity's speech to her troops. "Oh no... no one should have to die because of what happened... I've got to do something... I should take some responsibility for what happened.... just what..." she really felt she needed to do something but just didn't know what. One thought that came across was to reach out to Alex again it worked before, could it work now?

Heather honestly didn't know how to respond. She had never been in a situation like this before. She gently grasped Kerana's upper arms in an attempt to calm her down. "Ease up sweetie. You're talking a hundred miles an hour about something I've just heard about. What's going on?"

Gidget took a deep breath and held it for a bit, taking a moment to regard what it was that she was going to be diving into headfirst. She let it out slowly and looked at the people around her once more.

Annie, a woman that she used to look up to. She cared for her dearly, but she was simultaneously angered and saddened by her recent attitude. If she was going to have anything to do about it, she would change her view of life.

Theonis and his dad. There was a connection she would have never seen coming. Trinity needed the guy, and Gidget promised herself his safe return. Acula...was a work in progress.

And Ako, the man she had pined after for years but could do nothing about. He had granted her, possibly, final request. For that she loved him. She also loved his pecs, and his eyes, his tight butt, his strong grip, and his throbbing...

She shook her head to lossen out the phallic thought. With a slight blush she nodded. "We'll leave as soon as Trinity gets back. She'll be our method of...insertion."

"Okay," Annie said, laying a hand on Gidget's shoulder and taking a deep breath. "I'm sorry I wasn't as great as you thought I was."

She leaned in close and whispered, "Just put yourself in my shoes for one moment, Gidge: Shane to me is what Ako is to you. Unfortunately, I think you are a better person than me: I've always had a weak and bitter heart I just hide it better than most people."

She stepped back and put a smile on her face and said and announced, "If I don't make it back, Gidge, you're going to have to make sure Christian actually grows up to be a better person than his mom and nothing like his father."

After everything was set with the telepath troops she brought up to the roof she dropped down to head toward Gidget's lab. She emerged near Gidget, "Everything is ready... Is everyone ready here? I shall take you to the roof. Gidget, slight change of plan. Theonis can fly using his power... you won't need me to get you guys in there. I'll be diverting Legions attention."

Alexavier spun around in the room. " Look at all of this! So much to blow up so little time! I pick this one..and that one...and that one." He was like a little child in a toy store. But the child wouldn't know how to use those. He did.

Liv gave Peter a kiss on the cheek. " Thank you heart " She then proceeded to take a look at these pictures. She had a mixed feeling of relief and dissapointment. These pictures were actually pretty well made.

" Hmm..not what I expected"

Theonis gave her a nod. Looks like she did integrate a few of his pointers into her plan." No need to sacrifice a helicopter right?" He gave her a quick wink.

Wearing her circlet on her head Trinity nodded back. "Right, as the wise man asked 'why put the pilot's life at risk?'" she said as she winked at him. She looked to the others who also had their circlets on. "It looks like we're ready to go..." She closed her eyes and located everyone's shadow in the room. Her shadow spread out like ink linking to Ako, Gidget, Annie and Theonis. Once they were all connected they dropped through the shadow and ended up on the rooftop of Valhalla looking at the beast called Legion.

She turned and paused a moment to look at everyone especially Theonis and Gidget, "Good luck... Ako, you better bring her back in one piece.
Theonis you better come back or I'd be so pissed." with that she gave Theonis one last kiss. She closed her eyes she wanted to make sure she'd remember this moment and have it last as long as it can. The moment passed and she exhaled.

"Not much time left... ok time to give Legion something his own size to chew on." she took her position. Her eyes were glowing a solid bright green as she kneeled down and concentrated. Legion's shadow started as a wide small hill it took a few minutes but it shifted into a form the same size as Legion. It was part bear part wolf, something based off of the first time she did shadow manipulation but way more refined. The beast roared like a bear and thrust its fist into Legion's chest. The telepaths surrounded her body and started using their telepathic power to disrupt its train of thought. The captain of the squad called out to them, "Go now!"

Gidget's face-plate came down with a resounding clang. She turned and looked at the thing that was once her brother. Memories flooded her mind of what he once was. The meteor radiation had done this to him, made him into this monster. A very large monster.

Her voice came out of an external speaker with a minute click.

"Huh...it's a lot bigger in person."

Heather's eyes grew wide as her hair flowed with her shaking head. "Whoa now. If that thing you're talking about is able to kill soldiers, what makes you think you can stand up to it? Metas like you and I aren't cut out for combat. The best thing we can do is stay here and hope for the best."

Annie took a gulp as she spotted Legion and heard Gidget's voice. This was bad. This was what Shane became. Under her breath she muttered, "Come on, attack. Do something... give me something to do."
