[The Razz]

Kylie seemed to snap back into reality and out of her thoughts as she heard a voice near her. She looked back down and turned her head, looking at the girl who had greeted her. At first, she blinked, looking somewhat surprised to see her. She then smiled, tilting her head to the side in a friendly manner. "Hello there, miss!" she greeted, extending her hand. "My name is Kylie. What's yours?" she asked. Kylie was usually very kind and polite to people, especially when she would just meet them. And this was obviously no exception. She smiled, waiting for the girl to introduce herself.  

[Mister Penguin]

Sophie smiled. Though she was a bit shocked by the sudden noise and friendlyness which came from the girl, she was happy about the possibility of making a friend. Sophie took a step forward extending her hand and grabbing the girls. "Erm.. I'm Sophie." She said shakily. She wasn't nervious or anything, but she always got a bit shaky while meeting someone. Sophie looked up at the girls smiling face. She had to admit, she was a bit jealous of her looks. "So... What are you doing out here at this time of night?" Sophie said quickly to make conversation. She wouldn't let this chance of making a friend slip past her.

 

[The Razz]

Kylie had a small look of concern in her eyes when she heard the shaking in her voice. She didn't say anything about it though. She shook Sophie's hand, smiling. "It's nice to meet you, Miss Sophie." Kylie said, nodding. Kylie was always so formal with people's named. She then shoved her hands in her pockets, looking around and shrugging. "Ehh, I couldn't sleep. Thought I'd get dressed and explore some more. My curiosity can get the best of me at times." she said, tapping her cheek and grinning. She was glad- she was making another friend, and she was happy about it. It wasn't like she didn't love being with Rayna, Charlie, and Andi- it was just that she would like to have more friends than that. And she hoped Sophie to be one of them. "What about you, Miss Sophie?" she asked.  

[Mister Penguin]

Sophie calmed herself and looked up at Kylie. "Well I-" Sophie said with a stuttering voice. Stopping herself she took a deep breath and continued clearly. "I enjoy the night. I barely sleep during the night, I love being out. The moon is so pretty, I just can't help it." Sophie's eyes drifted away from Kylie to the full mood above them. Looking back down to Kylie she smiled. "Also it is a perfect time to practice my magic stuff without any worry of embarressment when I mess up." Sophie gave a smirking smile and scratched the back of her head slightly blushing.

 

[The Razz]

Kylie smiled, casting her gaze to the moon as well. Sophie was right- the moon was pretty. Kylie then snapped her head to Sophie's direction, her eyes wide with curiosity, smiling from ear to ear. "Magic? Ooh, that's so cool!" she said, literally bouncing with excitement. She sighed, slumping her shoulder a little. "Wish I had a power of some kind....but no, I'm just....an ordinary human." she said, scratching the back of her head. "The main reason I came was to be with Miss Rayna, as with my older brother, Charlie..." she explained. She then shook her head. "But enough about me. Tell me, what kind of magic stuff do you do?" she asked, very interested.

Sophie chuckled slightly, using her fingers to twist one of her rings. For some reason it felt as if she had met this Kylie before. She didn't know why, or how it was possible, but like.. maybe in another life they were somehow connected. Sophie laughed at herself for that thought. "Well..." Sophie said feeling more comfortable with her. "I don't really know. I do what I learn. I can learn to shoot fireballs, make something fly, make someone spontaneously combust." Sophie shifted her weight onto another foot, placing her hands into her black jean pockets. "And by the way, you don't seem like an ordinary human to me. You sure you don't have some hidden power?" Sophie smiled in a almost smirking way.

 

[Egyptian_Rose]

Silmeria wandered from the statues and took in more sights. She noticed a pair of people now having a conversation. One looked quite fair skinned, as did herself. "Hmm...not many that look like that anymore..." She mused as she continued through the courtyard to find herself a spot to settle for a bit before figuring out where the dorms or anything else were. She soon found a nearby tree where she sat under it and watched people coming and going from the courtyard. "I wonder if I will fit into such a place?"

Kylie wasn't sure of it, but deep inside her mind, she too had a feeling that she had met Sophie before, but she didn't know when, how, or where. She pushed the thought away for now to ponder over later. She gasped in awe when Sophie explained what all she could do. "That's so amazing! To shoot fireballs, make objects fly around, and to make things...explode! Truly a remarkable gift to have!" she exclaimed, clasping her hands together as she sighed, closing her eyes and imagining herself with powers. But for Kylie, it was merely a dream. Or so she thought. "Me? Oh, no, I'm completely human. I don't have amazing powers, and I'm not a demon, nor part of a demon. I'm not a vampire nor a Succubus- though I'd rather not be." she pointed out, chuckling. "I'm just....Kylie Wells, daughter of an innkeeper."

Sophie smiled and felt kind of proud. She had never been praised for magic, her past family hated her and shunnded her for her abilities. Feeling the sudden jolt to show off Sophie clamped her hands together tightly and closed her eyes. Pulling her hands apart, a golden butterfly formed from her palms. Conpletely pulling her hands apart the butterfly took flight and with each flap of it's wings golden dust seemed to sparkle around it. It flew higher and higher making few twists and turns.

Kylie, whose eyes wered closed this whole time, opened an eye to what Sophie was doing. She let her hands drop as she watched. She then gasped when she saw the butterfly, reaching up as it flew higher. Kylie had never seen anything quite like that, and was simply amazed. She looked back down at Sophie, her eyes wide with excitement. "That was so....cool, Miss Sophie! You're amazing!" she said, smiling widely as she looked back up to the butterfly. She looked so excited and enthusiastic that it was almost humorous. She realized that she was actualing like Andi- excited, full of energy, and always smiling, finding the simplest things extrodinary. "It's so pretty..." she said softly, clasping her hands together again as she kept her gaze on it.

Sophie smiled widely at Kylie. "Thank you... It wasn't much. It's just petty magic. I'm practicing to do much, much more than that." Sophie gentle brushed her hair back behind her ears, revealing one of her big, bright green eyes entirely. Her black cat ears were slightly tilted down on the side of her head, and her tail slowly wave back and forth behind her. "Um... If you want, when I learn,... I can show you more magic." Sophie smiled sweetly but then one of her senses started to tingle.

Sophie took a step forward. "Are you absolutely sure.. That you're completely human? No magic? Nothing?" Sophie looked at Kylie strangely. "Something about you... I don't know. Just doesn't seem too human at all..."

 

[The Razz]

Kylie immediately nodded at the girl. Oh, what a wonderful thing, to learn magic...if only she could. But seeing Sophie perform magic for her was just as great. Her hands were clasped together as she brought them up to the level of her chin. She closed her eyes. 'Oh, if only I could do magic or...have some kind of power....' she thought to herself. She didn't want to be just an ordinary human. Kylie wanted to be special- like Rayna. She wanted to fight alongside Rayna. She wanted to perform magic with Sophie. Kylie then opened her eyes, and tilted her head, pondering Sophie's question about her being human. "I'm pretty sure I'm just human..." she said, but something about her seemed odd. For now, her hair and skin didn't just appear to glow.

She actually was glowing. But she didn't appear to notice it.

Sophie's smile faded to a more confused questionable look. Sophie stared at Kylie with a bit of astonishment. "Kylie wha..." Sophie reached out her hand to Kylie's glowing shoulder. Using the tip of her finger she brushed Kylie's skin. Thinking to herself, she had a thought of triumph. This girl wasn't ordinary. She wasn't 'just' a human. There was actually something diffrent about her.

 

[The Razz]

Kylie tilted her head to the side, a curious expression on her face. "What is it Soph..." she trailed off as Sophie brushed her shoulder. Did she have something on- no, wait, she was glowing. Why was she glowing? How was she glowing? Kylie looked at her arms- they were glowing, as well. "How the....Sophie, did you do something?" she asked, looking down at her body, her eyes wide- partially from fear. She then shook one of her arms, as if trying to shake off the glowing. If that could be possible. Kylie secretly hoped that it would, though, but no avail. 'O-Okay...time to stop...glowing. Annnd...stop! Stoppp....NOW! And now.....and now...' she thought lamely, trying to stop the glowing. 'STOP!' she screamed in her mind. And suddenly, the glowing disappeared.
