[Mister Penguin]

Sophie watched as Kylie shook her arms in fear of the glow. She felt bad for the girl. Sophie could feel the fear raise in Kylie as she frantically tried to stop it. As the glow faded from Kylie, Sophie's eyes softened. "No..." Sophie said softely. "That wasn't me..." Sophie looked into Kylie's eyes. "That was all you..." Sohpie quickly turned around and started off. Turned her head back to Kylie she smiled. "Hey, I have to go. I'm getting a bit sleepy." Sophie slid her hands into her deep pockets. "I'll see you again soon sometime. And good luck with the whole glowy thing" Sophie started forward again. But after about the fourth step, Sophie stopped. "Actually... I should be saying 'Congradulations'.." And she walked off again, once again trailing into her thoughts and letting her loud footsteps echo into her mind.

Darc sat in a tree holding his kenes to his chest with one arm peting a small bird with his other was that siting on his new and cherping lightly he sighed just alittle as he sat there peting the bird, he seemed rather bumbed out, but it didnt matter how he looked seens no one ever saw he was there. he peted the bird lightly it jumped from Darcs knees and felw off. Darc watched the tiny bird untill it had flew off out of his view he looked donw some at the ground and at the people taht walked by as he thout. he was hungry, he handt ate in 2 days, he was starving himself on perpose, he kept telling himself it ws training but he only did that so his body would forget about foot. He pushed his way out of the tree and he landed on the ground. he had on a pair of black boots and yellow cargo like pants. along with a green blanket over his shoulder that was like a shirt to him. he looked around alittle he had a neckless that was a symbol for Graviton, wich was his race. He was part of a nerly dead race, the last of his kind, and at the he thout he was a prince aswell, he had no proof yet, but he had read alot of books on his race wrighten by others and people of his kind. He looked around alittle before he sat donw slowly aginst hte tree and he looked down alittle. he was tired of feeling so alone, for as long as he could remeber he had always bean alone, no one around him, no one who loved him, no one to even talk to most of the time witch made him kinda a cold person to bagian with but once you got passed the thick cold shell you would feel the warm he would give to his friends just for being his friends.

"Okay." Kiri faintly smiled back. She thought of an answer for Zephel's question. "I don't know. Never really thought of it." She watched him as he imitated a guy that had been hung, in a funny way. She smiled and giggled a little. When she realized she had, she placed her hand over her mouth. Slowly, she removed her hand and thought of that as being the first time she thought of anything being funny, even the slightest, in years. Her smile slowly faded away, as did always. The grip she had on her knees loosened up, but not that much. Kiri looked at Zephel, knowing that he tried to make her laugh and passed by making her giggle.

Snow Lea Makatu

Snow shrugged and put a gentle hand on the tree's bark. "I dont know... I just wanted to get away from the noise inside." She said smiling up at Surion. She smiled softly and then gently put her bag down, careful not to wake up Kiko. She crawled up the tree wihtout struggle and then sat on another branch, making sure it wasnt too birttle first. Snow looked across to Surion and then smiled at him lovingly. "You know... I'm glad that you approached me today at the hotspring..." She said smiling.

"Yeah, I always like quite places..."" He said again twirling a dagger. "Im glad I apprached you too... I had know idea... Thanks." Surion said. He had found a friend, no, more than a friend. Surion wasn't depressed now, he was perfectly happy. And for these past hours, he couldn't help but think he was one of the happiest people on this world. But he quickly shurgged the thought because someone who was going to die survived, no?

Snow smiled softly. "I'm just glad that I had someone to talk to about my past... I havent done that before. It feels great jus to talk to someone about it..." She said softly. She then smiled over at him and her legs swung gently as she sat on the branch. She looked down at the grassy ground and then over at her back, aimlessly. She was sure that this smile on her face was going to be there forever... (Im not going to be around much either today... Im going to be doing some yard work xP fun fun...))

Erika sat on the ground, playing with some rocks. She always sat alone, she didn't have any friends here but one, she never realy hung out at all. She was the 'loner' one of everyone she was guessing.
Hmm... well, atl east I am use to this kind of treatment.... She thought as she continued picking up more rocks and placing them all together, then kicking the pile she'd made and laughing slightly. She picked up her skate board, and placed it on her lap, then pulled out some markers and started drawing on the bottom of it.  

[Aryline C. Winterbourne]

Aryn sat up inside of one of the large trees within the courtyard. Hanging her feet over the edge, she gripped onto the thick branch she was sitting on and listened in on the conversations happening around her. She had not been one to make quick friends in any place she had gone. Her looks had caused many to want to stay as far away from her as possible. She swung her tail to and fro behind the branch, attempting to keep herself balanced on the branch itself. Aryn had been pleasantly surprised when Sakura and Raine had spoken to her, she had expected to go through the school years without speaking to anyone at all. Many of the students at Ria High, she found, were much younger than herself, but she tried not to be put off by their age. It seemed that what they lacked in age, they made up for in magical talent. Her ears twitching every which way, she noticed there were quite a bit more people in the courtyard than she had anticipated. Keeping herself mostly hidden within the tree, she looked around only able to see them in parts. I wonder what happened to Raine and Sakura, she thought to herself, they seem to have disappeared. Not too surprising I suppose, I'm sure they're touring the campus or going to classes. I'll find them eventually.

Moving slowly from the gate area he enters the stone courtyard, looking around the area he sees the beautifuly crafted stone paths, finding a stone bench he sits down and looks around, its peaceful, and to think, a few days ago he was in the battle field, fighting for some army who wanted land, he never even got paid for his service, and he was pretty much the entire mercinary unit. but oh well, if this place can give him more power, then he can deal with the loss of some money. he looks around once more, trying to figure out where to go or what to do. seeing people wander and converse with each other, making friends, speaking with old friends while he sits there alone and watches the actions of the fellow students....

Aryn looked around and noticed a young man entering the courtyard. Not wishing to point out that he had, she just watched and looked around the area at the different people sitting comfortably on the grass below. Sitting in the tree made her feel somewhat more powerful, however she knew that they probably saw her as being much different than themselves. Growing up she had not known too many people who were like her. Weres were a rare thing to find, especially ones that had such a calm temperament as she had. Even though she had an explosive attitude when attacked, she was often very nice to people as long as they didn't insult her.

The dark man looks over to a large tree and smiles, admiring it slightly, standing from his marble seat he walks over to the tree and stands under its shade, he looks out at the courtyard and smiles...he reaches down and grabs his dai katana unsheathing the obsidion blade....he points it out to the crowd...he begins going through the motions of slow slashes and jabs, he begins to slow his breathing, his eyes close as he begins to roll the 5 foot blade around his hand, his breathing stops as he goes through the motions, in a perfectly relaxed form.

Aryn watched the young man walk from the gate over towards the tree she was currently sitting in. For a moment he looked up towards her, she almost jumped. Did he see me, she thought to herself, no...no he couldn't have. He would have done something if he had, wouldn't he? She watched him in silence as he practiced his swordsmanship. Aryn partially wished that she was able to practice her weapons out in the open as he did, but the last thing she wanted to do was make a scene in a new school that she had just started. Looking up into the tree, she saw the pack she had attached to a branch higher up than herself. It hung down almost low enough for her to be able to open it and see inside with ease.

The dark man begins to move faster and faster, to the point where the motions are blured....his breathing still stopped. his trencoat flowing around with him....in his mind he senses the person above him....suddenly he jumps high into the air and landing on a branch right beside the woman, his eyes still closed...he sheaths his blade and begins to breath lightly. his eyes still closed...
"hello miss...might i ask why you are in this tree"

Aryn noticed that the young man had definately noticed that she had been sitting in the tree. Gasping at how he had suddenly spoken to her, she gripped on the tree to keep from falling out of it. "I," she began. "I feel the others would dislike it greatly if I decided to join the rest of them out in the open." She remembered various times when humans had given her a good amount of trouble not only because of her succubus bloodline, but because of her leopard-patterned fur. She became quite insecure about the way people saw her. Part of her felt that the young man, too, would freak out if he saw her for who she really was.

"You took the words right out of my head..." Surion replied with a soft face. He stood up on the branch and dashed over to snow, once agiain sitting down. He interlaced his fingers with hers and looked over. Even though his red hood was covering his mouth he bet Snow could see him smiling. He was so happy. He was glad he happened to go to the hotsprings at that time. Who knew he would find Snow?

Snow smiled at him and then glanced down at their hands. She gently moved her thumb over his hand. "What are your plans for tomorrow?" She asked him quietly. She was hoping that maybe she could get together with Surion again. She looked at him, curiously, waiting for his answer. She glanced down at her bag as Kiko stirred inside it but ignored it, looking back over at Surion. (Gah.. writers block... Im cutting it pretty close with my posts... sheesh))
