Theonis took a deep breath trying to calm his breathing. He was still deadly tired and vision was as blurry as before. His bleeding had stopped however though Theonis himself didn't know that he had been bleeding until he put his hand against his face and felt the wetness of the blood. He wanted to crawl back a bit in surprise but he could hardly move. Wiping off the blood on his hand on his shirt, he looked at Ako. Theonis had a general idea of what just had happened. Ako brought him back.

"Ako....thanks man. I owe you." He managed to speak softly.

Theonis turned his head to face Annie. He wore a faint smile."I didn't know. Thank you Annie. Guess I owe you one as well." He said just as softly as before. His mind was a bit faster than he was at the moment. Seeing Annie like that with her face buried in her hands talking about unhappy endings he realized she just lost the guy she loved. Gidget lost her brother. He couldn't make out Gidget's figure. Perhaps she was further away.

"Sorry....for your loss Annie" He would have say the same to Gidget when he could see her again. Right now things were still a big blur.

After hearing Theonis, Trinity frowned and realized by destroying Legion, Gidget lost a brother and Annie lost her love, Shane. "I'm sorry for your loss Gidget. I'm sorry for your loss too Annie. Come we can rest and fill each other in at the med bay." With that her shadow spread linking to all the shadows surrounding her.

A healer was standing by in a room with four beds. Boddies emerged under the sheets of all of them. Trinity emerged from the shadow of the curtains in the room. She walked over where Theonis was and revealed his face from under the sheets. She did the same for the others. The healer went to get others and as soon as they came back they started using their abilities. Trinity was by Theonis' side.

Trinity smiled, "It could be quite possible... all these rooms look the same to me." She placed her hand on his. "How are your eyes? They look different now..."

Annie didn't say anything to Theonis's question about her being bitter, letting it slide until she showed up in the medical exam room under the covers. Got to hand it to Trinity, she knows some pretty good tricks with her power, Annie thought before reflecting on Theonis's question. She wasn't always that bitter, it had come when she came a part of Daedalus.

She ducked her head under the covers and laughed bitterly, the laugh turning into a sob as she quietly cried the tears she had held back. What would be her next move?

Now he had black eyes too? Damnit. He had hoped it wouldn't continue but it seemed his hunch was right. His mutation seems to be continues or at least tied to how much he uses his power.

"That it did....that it did"

"I really wish I was there with you. We could have switched out. I could have created a sphere to protect us, I wouldn't be able to fly but I can figure out a different way to keep us from being absorbed by Legion.

Yet Gidget was right, I needed to lead the troops. Though it was weird. At one point the troops were infected by fear spores. They were the same ones from Charles Ray 13 years ago. Quite a few of them had to be locked up, sedated and monitored because of it. I was lucky I wasn't infected by it.

Legion on the other hand had a major effect on it with all the people merged all kinds of things were manifested from people's fears."

"A businessman and a meta human," Annie began rolling over, wiping her tears away and pulling the covers down. "He captured Gidget, Tansy, Ako, another meta human and I thirteen years ago. He started trying to use Gidget's power for his own profit and I suppose keep the rest of us around for 'investment' purposes. We managed to escape and had thought we had killed Charles Ray, but knowing his type he is the type to show up again."

"The fear particles really didn't creep me out as much as when I was younger, though," Annie continued. "Maybe because it wasn't focused on my specific fears. And probably because I've gotten to a point of caring less about things. Regardless, knowing that these things are still floating around isn't comforting."

"It would be worse if it is connected to Charles Ray. Mr. Ray personally hates Gidget, and like everyone I was able to rub him the wrong way so I'm sure he wouldn't turn down a chance to strike at me." She ran her fingers through her hair and sighed, "I suppose I have to be a little more responsible now that I'm a mother, thanks to Dr. Berchant and Daedalus, and have someone who relies on me."
