Bulbasaurr [Philosophy In A Teacup] Bulbasaurr All of those sound awesome. o_o I'm almost tempted to enter... although I don't think I'd do very well at this point in my quest to not be a n00b artist. N00b or not, if it says anything, I think that this little doodle is so cute and it would totally have a serious chance of winning something. And my contest is, naturally, Pokémon themed. 3nodding
And man, if you think just that list is awesome, you should see the rest of the categories. Holy ********. As of two or so days ago, minus two categories (still buying prizes for them, so I didn't count them), the total price tag for my contest is 7.2mil. And it's not one of those bait-and-switches, where yeah it's in the millions, but there's only, like, five prizes consisting of really high-priced items. :Tomg yey. 8D ![User Image](https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v495/final_key/1213056381803.gif) K, I'll enter once I get my computer. >w> I'mma try and experiment with digital work with your contest. x_x; I mainly use traditional mediums, but I know a majority of GOOD pokemon art is in digital. x_X; Ho-Oh and Lugia ftw. I'll draw ash's daddy. ;3 The subforum already said that Ho-Oh ain't his daddeh. And the manga/FRLG says Giovanni isn't either. Which crushed what, several years of an unsolved case?
That doodle made me lol. Are you gonna give us links when you finish getting prizes/setting it up?

[Philosophy In A Teacup] Bulbasaurr omg yey. I'll draw ash's daddy. ;3 holy crap do you stalk my LJ? i posted that very same .GIF a few weeks ago on it. Scrubs ftw!
But lol, ******** digital media. I love traditional media just as much. I say stick with what you're familiar with. 3nodding And LOL. Yes. ;3 Funny enough, as long as you included one of my OCs (since the contest is about them), that totally would work, since they have strong ties to Ho-Oh and Lugia. :O
@Melody: We know Ho-Oh isn't Ash's dad. Bulba was being sarcastic, since earlier we were joking about how the idea was utterly ridiculous. xD
And naturally~. Once it's open, I'll totally spam this place link you guys! Though if you know my afterforementioned LJ, you can get a sneak peak at the categories and their prizes right now. ;O omg srsly? o_o I just looked up "victory dance" on photobucket Scrubs ftw indeed
Awesome~ Any idea as to when it will be held? 0:

[Philosophy In A Teacup] Melody Hikari-Shinu Anson Gaia is broken. And I'm sorry for not catching the sarcasm. ;-; I was trying to make a joke response though. Also, always start your reading for school as soon as possible. Lol, I never did my summer reading. The books were always boring as ********. In fact, I almost never did any assigned reading. I just SparkNotes'd everything.
You rebel you. I never did it either. ******** that s**t, Futurama was having a marathon.
Gah. My image is broken. u_u it was dancing Turk. cry
Should I read lord of the flies? I heard it was like Gantz... >_>;;

DJ Trouble I never read every book, but I never used sparknotes either. >_> Doing the assignments and tests without reading the book is fun. ^_^ The Lord of the Flies was cool, and so was The Great Gatsby.
I was in AP classes, so I couldn't bomb/christmas tree a test without getting my mental a** beat by my teachers (not to say it didn't happen. First half of senior year was pretty much that). I did read The Great Gatsby, though. But that was mainly because we didn't have enough copies for each class to take copies home, so we had to read them during class.
But most everything else, I totally SparkNotes'd. I'm sorry, but The Mayor of Casterbridge was boring as ********, and The Scarlet Letter wasn't much more interesting, either. I'd rather waste time here on Gaia or play Pokiemans than read them.
Bulba: Eh, I just hated my AP English Literature And Composition class. I only took it because I liked the teacher and my counselor promised it wouldn't kill me. But the teacher was hardly ever there for the first semester due to on-going family emergencies, then she quit right before the second semester to take a better teaching job up in Georgia, leaving us stuck with a newbie teacher who had never taught AP before and had no idea what he was doing. And then my only friend in the class got kicked out, leaving me with a bunch of Abercrombie snobs who couldn't look far enough down their noses at me...
I'm a bitter graduate. ![User Image](https://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f90/projectniobi/Emotes/emot-colbert.gif)
Also, Futurama ftw!

I must be the only person who never used Sparknotes. XD I actually enjoy reading. It was the one thing in school I really didn't mind. Writing up a report on what I read, though, was a different matter. Also, I much preferred when I could read the books on my own, and not in class. There were several books that were read in class, with students being called on, and it irked me when people didn't know how to read and stumbled slowly over the words in the book. Especially in high school, where everyone should know how to read already. D: And we never actually got to the end of the books we read in class, either. I remember there was one book in particular that we read that I found excruciatingly boring though. If we hadn't read that one in class, I probably wouldn't have bothered to read it on my own. Then again, it might have been the slow reading by my classmates making the book drag on and on that made me dislike it so much.
