State Fish... This one was a hard one to narrow down to, because of all of the fish that exist out there. But I did manage to narrow it down. My favorite fish is the Siamese fighting fish ( Betta splendens) or simply Betta.

State Flower... This one is easy. I love roses. But since a lot of these state symbols require to narrow it down to one specific species, I'll have to determine which rose species I like most. Hmm... I guess I'll go with the China Rose ( Rosa chinensis). It has to be pink, of course... since that's my favorite color.

State Fruit... My favorite fruit is cherries. ((For the state I live in, their state fruit isn't specific on the type of fruit. It's just generic. So... I'll leave mine generic too.))

State Vegetable... My favorite vegetable is... well... let's see... I like carrots, sweet yellow corn, spinach, celery... um... and probably a few others. I think I'll choose corn as my favorite. So, Sweet Yellow Corn is the winner.

State Grass... Bleh... this one is going to take some time to figure out. I don't really have a favorite grass... and I don't want to take the time to figure out one. But I guess I do like bamboo... so I'll go with that.

State Fossil... My favorite ancient animal would be... hmm... well... probably any wild cat. Upon looking at some of the ancient cats, I decided upon the one that I liked most - Megantereon. It's a genus of a Saber-toothed cat.

State Ship... Oh dear... there's way too many ships out there for me to choose from. At least real ones, lol. So... for the sake of just giving something... I'll use the Black Pearl. biggrin Not a bad ship, eh?

State Dance... I love dancing, but choosing just one dance... surprisingly, that's a bit easier than I thought. My favorite is Viennese Waltz.

Alright... well, there's still some more for me to do.
But I've finished listening to the Sweeney Todd soundtrack. And I told myself I would listen to the whole thing, and when I finished I would head to bed.
So... with that being said, good night! 3nodding

Evening everyone!
Unfortunately I won't be continuing the State Symbol/Favorites thing today. Perhaps tomorrow I'll continue it.
I watched What's Eating Gilbert Grape earlier today. It's amazing how young Leonardo DiCaprio looks in this movie. ((Younger than what he was in Titanic.)) And Johnny Depp's cute and handsome as always. heart

Well... I finished watching Private Resort.
And there's still an hour or so before I have dinner. So I might as well do some more State Symbol/Favorites. 3nodding

State Motto... Hmm... I would have to say my motto would be "Live, Laugh, Love." Though I do also like Ellen's show's motto - "Laugh. Dance. [Insert word here, depending on occasion]." I ended up finding a picture that puts the two together - "Live, Laugh, Love, Dance." Perfect motto for me!

State Song...
Well, my all-time favorite song is "To Love You More" by Celine Dion.
But since the state song usually describes the state, I'll have to go with a different song. A song that describes who I am.
Hmm... I'll have to go with "Miss Popularity" by Jordan Pruitt.
