Kerana nodded and said, "Sure thing..." she agreed as he told her that he would do the talking. Kerana thought it was a little funny as he responded to his brother's threat and smiled a little. "So, you're a healer? I guess it's no wonder your brother wanted you to look at his arm. I hope you don't mind my asking, what is your brother's power?"

"Oh, I was very lucky when I was granted powers!" He said excitedly with a big smile, "I got not only healing, but I can shield a certain amount of damage! And I got this awesome looking staff that can teleport me to my big brother whenever I'm in danger! That is if it's on me of course... I can also knock enemies a short distance away. So basically I'm useless...offensively..." He paused for a moment, he had just made himself sound weak.. "Oh, Orion can move things with his mind! I believe he calls it Telekinesis.. And he's a lot quicker and can assume where an attack is coming from! Though he has less actual skills than me, it's pretty fascinating." He trailed on as he continued healing the covered arm, "He just doesn't like people looking at his skin, so he prefers a more indirect healing source." He spoke in a slight whisper, hoping the other hadn't had heard him. Success.

Theonis made his way into time. Time passed as he was thinking what he would get and where he would get it from.He thought it was strange the way he treated Angel. Sure she's a girl and all. A very good looking one at that but still it wasn't like him at all be all sensitive and kind. It would have been more like him to thank her for her troubles and then continue with his own life not caring about the rest of the world. Something...about Angel made him interested in her. Maybe her so called mask. He wanted to see who was underneath that fragile mask. But he would get to that in time. No good would come if he rushed that. She'd break and completely reject him.

With those kinds of thoughts he got reached the town. It didn't take him long to spot the local supermarket. Remembering why he went to town he entered. As he walked down the aisles(sp?) he filled his cart with canned food. Not just of one kind of a variety of it. Now he also needed something to drag all of it back. Somewhere in the back of the store he found big rucksack usually for camping. It was big enough to fit most of it in there. After paying for it and enduring the odd looks people tossed his way he went to the butcher for some good meat.

The man had a wide selection but he realized that it was probably a good idea to get a few really big chunks and take that home instead of a getting one of each.

( ill finish later. Gotta go)

"Oh, how interesting. So the meteor somehow affected the staff? How did you come across such a staff?" Kerana was very interested in learning more about them as they made their way to the Residential office.

"I don't know really, all I know is that it belonged to my father." He said cheerfully, something about his sentence making the elder brother slightly cringe, it was clear the younger handn't noticed; too caught up in his own conversation, "I guess it was just luck." The young child pondered for a moment before giving a childish giggle and a slight shrug. "All done." The small hand let his grip go on the arm as he smiled at the other, one who clearly wasn't interested in adding to the conversation.

"...'Bout time runt, I thought you'd never finish." His tone slightly unsettled, and unclear if he was actually joking or really being cold. The younger smiled it off, being so used to his older brother he was more like a father than an actual sibling. Though unaware of what troubled him so much, under the elders cold and uneasy mask was enough love that two parents could give. That was all to satisfy the youngster, "What are you looking at..?" Orion snapped at the younger one, who stared at him with a unusually large smile, "You're creeping me out, knock it off." The right eye focused on the youngster as he turned, though the smile still remaining on his face as he hummed a slight tune. "..." Orion's face then became unreadable, as if attempting to hide an emotion that he didn't enjoy. "Tch..Runt.." He muttered quietly, slightly aggitated in his younger brothers behavior and actions. "...sometimes I just don't understand you."

The younger only frowned for a moment before humming his cheerful tune once more. "Love you tooooo!" He chimed childishly. "Silly old man." He slightly poked the older one, it was clear they were close, in their own little way.

"Punk." Orion stated calmly, he wasn't old.. Twenty wasn't old... He didn't think about it more than twice, considering he didn't feel as if his age was that important. "Least I'm not short. Grow up some shorty.." He praid the day that the younger grew he woundn't end up being taller than him, he'd at least want that! Giving the smaller one a gentle pat-pat on the head, he released a stretch. Oh, what a handful this boy could be.

Kerana smiled at the brothers being brothers and they arrived at the Residential Office. "Here we are." Kerana opens the door for them and enters after the brothers. "Hi, I have a couple of new recruits!"

Amy the secretary came up to them and gave them a clipboard with forms on them. On the forms one of the items read that it 'if you are under the age of 18 you will need a guardian or parent to sign". It asked about floor preferences, roommate preferences and so forth.

Kerana decided to text Gidget to see if there was an issue about these two who may have by passed security.

[Gidget... I hope I'm doing the right thing... they seem to be a couple of lost metas that seem to have just come to Valhalla recently. I brought them to the Residential Office.]

"See Apollo, being 'old' as you say, has it's benefits. Now, sign it or not.." Orion teased the younger one, who showed a clear sign of despair at the thought of the brother leaving him behind. "Oh come on now, you should know better..!" Considering I technically need more than you need me. The older of the two's face expressed a slight frown at the thought, before playfully ruffling the younger ones hair. "To even see you show such an expression disappoints me." The red head said in a slight mumble as he filled out the paperwork, clearly filling out the youngsters as if he was a mother filling out a paperwork for their youngsters at a doctors office.

"You're cold..!" The youngster snapped over-dramatically, as if trying to gain more attention. It was clear that the two were not about to ditch one another, all they cared about was technically eachother, Orion's: Apollo's safety, and well-being, Apollo's to not be seperated from the only family he had. The memories of the youngsters parents vague, and confusion on why Orion took him away from them; thinking the only time to ask is when Orion gets out of this 'phase' of constantly being by the youngers side, and when will that end? No one knows. "...jerk." Apollo mumbled slightly, clearly shaken up from the others cruel joke.

Gidget's HUD displays a symbol for incoming text. She confirms it and reads Kerana's message. Gidget's eyes twitch slightly. Getting past the facility's security is unheard of. It had never happened without forced entry.

She looks at Trinity. She quickly says, "I have to go look into something. Keep my up to date about the analysis of the fleshy substance. Please help Justine get around if you would."

A port in her upper arm opens and the retrieves a small button from inside of it. The port closes and places it in Justine's hand. "If you get lost press this button. Security personal will help you in any way they can."

Something suddenly made the elder uneasy, causing him to pause his writing. The right eye scanned around the area for a moment, as if sensing something unpleasant. "..." Gently placing the pen on the partially filled paper for the youngster he looked at the sibling, who overall seemed fine. "Hm..." Placing the clipboard down on the counter he turned to the woman, "If you'll excuse me, I'll finish this in a moment." His voice sounding promising and relaxed in attempt to cover up his uncomfortable feeling. Leaving his brother with the girl he stepped outside of the building, taking a glance around for a moment before re-entering the building. "...must have been nothing." Orion mumbled slightly, though he wasn't certain it was nothing.. Something suddenly just seemed.. Off..? "My apologies." He spoke to the woman behind the counter as he held the clipboard once more, hesitating before placing the edge of the pen back down on the paper to continue.

"...?" Apollo could sense the others uncertainty and slight worry, but the child unlike the other had no sensing mechanisms... Glancing around for a moment before eyeing the back of the red head, this whole event had made the youngster slightly uneasy now, knowing that something had made him so uneasy that he left his brother with the slight stranger. The dark eyes then turned to Kerana, "...are you lying to us?" The youngsters eyes focused on the others face, saying the words Orion would not; it was clear that Orion thought something was up, considering when he questioned the elder had stopped his writing as if waiting for a response. "We didn't come here to cause trouble, but if you're wanting trouble, we can either take it elsewhere, or leave." The child's tone bold, clearly serious, they didn't aim for a fight, but if they're going to be watched, then they'd rather leave. And with that the youngster felt Orion pull him in his field of vision, clearly not in a comforted state of mind any longer.

"If you even scratch him, I'll kill you.." The elder spoke in a slight harsh tone, sending a threat, yet showing how much the youngster meant to him. He didn't like threatening such a kind person, the face didn't turn to Kerana, but with his sudden uneasyness...it wasn't a feeling he enjoyed getting, especially when the first impression of someone who resided here was something unimaginable.

Kerana was a little worried, her ears curved downward and her tail wrapped around her stomach. She didn't meant to upset them so, "I was only texting a friend about finding you two and that we were at the Residential Office. Just updating her on what I was doing is all." this was the truth and so it sounded true. It would be harder for her to completely lie due to her good nature.

Trinity nodded as she left, "Will do." she watched her give Justine a button. She wondered how many of those she can keep in there. Trinity turns to Justine,"So what do you want to do now? Has Gidget offered you the option to stay here in Valhalla among other meta-humans?"

"Da-..Brother, don't be so mean.." Apollo flinched as he heard a crack from the pen the other had gripped tightly in his hand. He felt his brothers grip completely let go of the other, and the hair shadowing the upper portion of his face. But the youngster could see the teens jaw tighten, as if holding back from screaming at the other.

"..." The elder was silent, his body had tensed at the others audible mistake, his blood violently rushing through the others veins. That word was not supposed to leave that boys mouth, whether it be calling him his father, or not. His nose scrunched several times and the corner of his lip twitched twice. A wet substance slid between his fingers, ink. Blinking several times he looked at the woman behind the desk, "It seems I have broken your pen, I will purchase another one to replace it. My apologies." He had a noticably fake smile across his face, forcing a cheerful appearance into the right eye. It was clear the youngster had striked a nerve. "I'll just go find one now." The dark eye glanced at the youngster for a moment before he left him with the girl.

"..Orion?" But the door shut with a loud SLAM! "W...what?" The child seemed heartbroken as he sniffled the snot that seemed to be suddenly pouring from his nose like the tears from his eyes. Apollo never recalled him ever being this angry. "K..Kerana...Where is he going?" The youngster tugged on her skirt gently.

The young man paced around behind the building, the aura around him hectic and seemingly uncontrollable. He mumbled out numerous curses as he tried to remain calm. The words from the brother breaking the cold appearance he usually hid his feelings with. How could he call him that? How could he call him what he used to call the old geezer who tormented him? He didn't cry, he wouldn't allow himself to cry, a grown man, especially this grown man, doesn't cry. The corner of his lips continued to twitch in aggravation, his teeth clamped forcefully down on eachother, his nose continously scrunching as he tried to control these unwelcomed emotions. The left eye suddenly began to burn, gently flipping the eyepatch for it to breath he blinked for a moment, the left eyes vision seemingly worse than ever as the scarred discolored eye was allowed to reveal itself for a moment, allowing the burning sensation to cool. "Tch.." The older snapped as he covered the unsightly view from the world once more, the sensation now over, but his feelings still a knot. "Useless.." Orion went on a cursing rampage once more.

Gidget steps into the residential office and smiles at Kerana. "Hey you, I got your message." She looks down at the young boy and says jovially, "You must be one of the slippery newcomers. I have to say, no one has ever slipped past our security protocols to make it into the underground portion. I'm just glad it was someone as cute as you." She winks at him playfully.
PostPosted: Mon Dec 27, 2010 11:24 am
The dark eyes looked at the newcomer, slightly confused. They did not recall slipping past any security.. He could only remember opening his eyes to find his...brother carrying him. Shortly after it was then they were attacked by a group of wolves, their memories for the past few days being completely forgotten, or 'wiped' so to speak. The interesting woman had caused him to stop his whining and crying for the one who was just around the corner, sniffling for a moment he rubbed his nose with his sleeves. "Who are you..?" The hand that gently held Kerana's skirt seemed to quickly pull away at the sight of blood red hair behind the newcomer.

The right eye blinked at the sight of the new person, his face expressed a more tired state before. Mentally tired, but he had gained control of his emotions and anxieties, success in other words. He inspected the other quietly, wondering if she was the one he had sensed previously, his right eye squinting for a moment before he gathered his composure to approach the lady at the desk. "Here." He placed one of the pens he had been carrying on the desk, replacing the now unworkable one. Apollo's grasp on his shirt taking a moment for him to want to acknowledge it, as if still slightly bothered by what he had said. But in one swift movement the youngster was now on this back, his hands gently supporting the legs at his side. "Who are you." It wasn't necessarily a question as the right eye focused on the unfamiliar face, his tone back to the harsh and cold one he had been previously using. The tone that has kept the two from joining any alliances with people who had unpleasant ideas of how to use them, thieves and crooks, he had grown accustomed to using it almost constantly.

Gidget eyes the older one curiously. She gives the two a quick look and smiles. "I'm Agatha Morris, but I hate that name so you can either call me Gidget or Ms. Morris. I am the head of research and development, as well as a sort of co-ceo. This is Valhalla, a safe haven for meta-humans to learn and adapt."
